Man...I had the same line of thought. The slightly obsessive, overly possessive, highly insecure Fateh who wants Tejo to remain with him. He says he doesn't love her as he cannot love again but cannot let her go away too.

Losing Tejo is not an option. So she has to stay. No matter how much she wants to leave him. No matter how many times she runs. He will hold her back, pin her down and bind her to him in a way she can never leave. She will breathe with him, live with him, cry with him, hurt with him and also die with him.

True, it is definitely hard or even possible to accept someone as your husband, your partner for life who is so broken in love. That too over your sister. Personally I could never look at a guy who loves my sister to that level as a husband ever. Coz at the back of your head you would always know that he loved someone that much. And that person was not you. You would always doubt them and be unsure to love and receive love in return.

The moment its all over, he'll take his person far away somewhere. He knows Tejo will grieve at the fate of her sister, so he won't let her find out. He wants her everything to himself, all her emotions belong to Fateh and Fateh alone.
