It was a dream. He was smiling weirdly while sitting on the sofa. Abhiraj thinks he is behaving weirdly 😂
Tejo comes and sits near him.
Jasso comes, acts as if she is unaffected and just got up from sleep.
She hugs Tejo and asks them to have sweets. Calls Fateh jiju and breaks his heart all over again. She gives him the anklets. Preeto calls and she goes away.
Fateh is humiliated.
He goes to washroom and meets Jasso. He goes to her but she still calls him Jiju, asks him to call her if he needs any help.
He rushes back, wanting to leave but Rupi says that Tejo has gone to get her things. Dadi feeds him kheer. Rupi apoloziges and says Tejo is not at fault. An angry Fateh says that he knows that but Rupi and his daughter Jasmine has spoiled two lives.
Tejo is in her room. She cries. Has flashbacks of the wedding and the taunts and rests on the bed. A sombre Jasmine comes and says that she feels bad for what happened to her. Her Marriage shouldn't have happened like this.
Tejo says if she is feeling bad only for her? What about Fateh? His life is destroyed.
This makes Jasmine angry. She says that Tejo is still supporting him. She always supports Fateh over her. He was her best friend and now her husband too, she taunts.
Tejo bursts out, saying she has destroyed her life. Jasmine asks what about her life that Fateh has destroyed. She compares the situation to their parents; how her mother waited but Rupi never got a job there. She doesn't want a fate like that.
Tejo reprimands her at bringing their parents in the discussion. She says it is about Fateh, her and Jasmine. Jasmine says it was always about her and Fateh, only Tejo came in middle due to bad kismat.
Tejo says not due to kismat but due to her foolishness and zid.
She says if Jasmine has forgotten how much Fateh has done for her?
Jasmine replies that Fateh has done everything for himself. She had only asked him for one thing that he couldn't give - a job in Canada.
She bursts at Tejo as to why she said yes. She shouldn't have become the baki ka bakra.
Tejo is furious. She says you never understood Fateh's love for you.
Jasmine says that it is Tejo who doesn't understand. Had she not married him, Fateh would have come back after a month with a job for her.
Tejo asks her if she really thinks he would after all teb insult that she did.
Jasmine says yes because he loves her.
At that time Fateh reaches the door.
Tejo bursts out saying she doesn't care about their love. She only knows that because of them she is stuck in a mess.
Fateh hears this.
Tejo takes her bag and tells her that everyone used to tell about Sandhu sisters and their love for each other. But this time Jasmine has strangled her sister's happiness and dreams by herself. The tragedy is that she doesn't even feel bad about it.
Jasmine is stunned shut.
Tejo goes away and the photograph of the sisters fall and breaks. Tejo sees Fateh standing there, listening. She ignores him and goes away. Fateh stares at her and looks at Jasmine who turns back, sees him and looks away.
Scene shifts to Fateh's place where he rushes into the room and cries holding the anklets.
Tejo is in the living room with her luggage. Flashbacks and cries.
