Chakor surprised to learn about Asha's death secret & about the mastermind Suraj's strategy to catch the perpetrators with evidence. But she has yet to know about the mystery of drawing lock beneath the sword, hope she finds out soon. This part I am giving it in two parts for the ease of reading. Its long as I had to explain and clarify the actions of the strategist Suraj... Its well known that execution takes less time when compared to the planning that goes behind...

Hope i have explained the gaps and knitted it properly...

Chapter 9 (A)

Clearance of weeds…

She called the nurse to bring in his medicines and checked his parameters. He kept calm smiling at her. The Doctor was on her duty with the patient.

But that Bhero she said…poor Asha…

Ajay switched on the TV and brought the newspapers. Both were playing the same story in different versions.

The Headlines…

Bhero Nath,the brother of Mr Kabir Nath, who is a famous industrialist and businessmen who holds a respectable position has been arrested for drug trafficking, possession of narcotics and offensible arms and ammunition, abduction of lands through subleasing to cultivate illegal drugs and weeds. Bhero Nath is such a notorious one who has played with so many innocent younger generation lives by drugging them and filming them without their knowledge or consent and selling those videos in the domestic and international market.

Young lady Asha and her two friends had taken the courage to give their testimony against this heinous criminal. The Police have extended their gratitude to Mr. Kabir Nath who helped to nab the criminal.

Bhero Nath was very brilliantly rounded and arrested by the Commissioner of Police. It has to be lauded that the strategic mastermind planning of DCP and Special Officer Suraj Khatri along with officer Ajay Khurana brought this criminal behind bars.…. The gallant officer is now in critical state and is fighting for life from a bomb which blasted at the criminal’s hideout.

Dr. Chakor has been saved and is fine back to the district hospital.

The commissioner addressed the media and said criminals like Bhero mask themselves and the public have to be vigilant and help the police with whatever little they can do. He appreciated the man in the public who took the pic of the van when Dr. Chakor was abducted and shared it which helped the police.

When media asked about Khatri… he said we pray that he is out of danger soon.

The media was playing the bomb blast nonstop which was videographed by the policemen in plain cars far away from the bungalow. The footage of Suraj being carried was shown.

He continued saying the judiciary will now take its course of action.

She was taken aback… Asha??? She she , The Chief walked in saying yes she is perfectly fine. She is now in the special room along with her parents. He turned to Suraj and said you are indeed real Devil ….Officer…. How are you he asked? He smiled… nodding fine...

She looked at Suraj with awe, so you planned everything.

The Commissioner walked to Suraj and enquired his wellness... applauding him he said.. Officer please tell me what did you tell to Bhero that day..

She teared again looking at the footage as it was still agonizing her.

She turned to him and said…in that state you spoke??.. Yes he smiled.

I told him that IF ANYONE HARM MY ANGEL, THE DEVIL WILL BURN THAT EMPIRE TO ASHES NOT TO RISE AGAIN.

He winked, she smiled with tears.

The doctor in her quickly went to meet Aasha as she is indeed her patient.

The Chief and the Commissioner left him wishing a speedy recovery.

The strategies planned by the Devil….

It was evening………..

Ajay explained her while she was feeding Suraj his diet food. He was making all faces as it was bland and said the hospital food is like a cattle fodder. But,the Angel ensured that the Darling gulped it down with her love… Does he have a choice well he doesn’t want it either.

Lets braze ourselves but this is happening withthe vulnerable.

Suraj after visiting the lodge and the room and after getting the narcotic reports guessed the ugly truth.

The drugs or the date drugs(eg. heroine and of same class) are given to young teenage boy and girl, need not be couple without their knowledge and in their dazed state it ignite their passion and sexual urge and without their consciousness get intimate which is filmed by the psychopaths and circulated in the social media to those perverts. The drink laced couple do not have any idea of what they have gone through when they come to senses. They are oblivious unless their video surface and go through psychologic shocks and trauma from society and the family. In very few cases they succumb to pressure when blackmailed thus being subjected to flesh trade while few dueto unprotected one fall prey into shocking pregnancy which shocks them and mars their character leading to suicides.

Scenario 1

This was the scenario which was briefed to Chakor by Suraj without any emotions in him and that was the time she realized he has indeed hardened and he vowed to kill those who are behind this atleast in this case.

Scenario 2

Suraj was informed that the boy and the girl are in the hospital in a dazed state. He met them.

They were terribly scared, shocked not understanding where they are. Suraj assured them confidence. He said their parents are worried and are waiting outside but asked them to help him so that no other go through this ordeal.

The boy spoke

I came from the Gokul lodge and since Asha was coming directly to the bustop we were walking together towards the bus stop through a lane which was dark. Suddenly we were held from behind and before we could realise whats happening, something was covered on our nose and we fainted. We in the middle were slightly gaining conscious when we found ourselves inside a room with lights and expensive bed and there were people around…One was huge big was like a thug… while our hands were held within few minutes they forcefully made us to drink something after which we don’t know what happened and woke up in the hospital here. We can vaguely remember some riverside but nothing more.

The girl cried… I don’t know what happened and if anything happened to me… She was traumatized to the core. She was consoled that she was perfectly fine in all ways…

The lady inspector along with the gynae assured that she was perfectly fine and nothing untoward had happened.

They were worried about Asha when they were informed she is being treated.

He asked them to tell only those lines barring the red ones to the media so as to keep the criminal in dark.

Suraj ensured their safety and also were given psychiatric counselling to overcome the trauma. But,to his surprise they both were bold to register their testimony with the Magistrate in private.

Scenario 3

The Gokul Lodge and Kabir’s Bungalow

It was easy for Suraj to connect the dot that Gokul Lodge was being used to cover the ugly happenings after he spoke with Asha’s friends. The room left of the lift and was leading to the outhouse underground and the opposite door of the room in the outhouse was connecting Kabirs bungalow. The single footwear proved Asha has witnessed this but to what extend he did not know. As all the properties were in Kabir’s name Bhero was enjoying it without much attention on him. But the local police had a suspicion on Bhero’s underground dealing but were not having the guts to work around and when Suraj came in they extended all their support. The Commissioner involved himself personally.

The red cap guy was Suraj as the media reporter along with the cameraman when he found Kabir very genuinely upset about his Lodge’s name being tarnished. After the meeting, Suraj after confirming about the cufflink relating to his father’s murder he met Kabir. Kabir initially did not believe it but when he saw the cufflink with BN and knowing, he had dealings in Aligarh he said he would look into him.

Knowing about Bhero, Suraj wanted Kabir to be very very cautious. Kabir after talking to Bhero went out saying he will visit the lodge but went to the other room and heard Bhero’s dark side. He was shaken completely. He could not digest the truth, which was bitter but did not want to be party to the sin.

He quickly called Suraj and said they were going to the lodge, he followed and saw them loading something on to the van and Bhero was going in his black car with few cartons.

The checkmate by Suraj

Suraj got the information about Chakor’s kidnap. He called Kabir and asked him to transfer the registration of the car onto Bhero’s name and give the papers to the policeman who was in plain clothes waiting for him at the RTO office.. The RTO was informed and helped out personally and all fell in place. When probed Kabir shared that they have an old bungalow at the remote outskirts of Kanpur…With his experience he calculated and informed Ajay to follow the black car which went into the subway sometime after the white van went through as the van took few minutes to come through. He presumed that Chakor would be shifted so he followed the van to nab Deeraj and sent Ajay behind Chakor. The plainsman gave the papers to Ajay along with machine guns. The black car was behind the bungalow drawing no attention from the thugs who were concentrating on the hallway happening. Ajay crawled to the car, changed the papers in the dashboard, and placed the machine guns at the dickey and waited for Chakor to come as he knew Suraj was inside. Rest we knew

Asha the prime witness

Suraj knew he was dealing with a very notorious cow clothed tiger. The hit on Chakor which he heard and her shriek, he decided and vowed himself not to allow him to rise again albeit what even if he loses his life in the bargain to burn down his empire. He realized that he was feeling the pain of Chakor and within his heart he decided she was the lock for this sword as already visioned by his father but decided to hold within himself as he was not sure about her feelings and wanted to wait till she unlocks her feelings if she has for him which he thought was indeed there.

He announced that Asha was dead to keep Bhero in dark again and to flaunt his success.

He knew he was entering the Den for the safety of his Angel he tread that path he believed she may too was having the same feeling as his, so he left a message for her through Ajay.

If at all his calculation fails and Bhero escape, the strong evidences against him along with the possession of narcotics and guns will make him rot in Jail.

So, the Devil entered the Den to save his Angel and to burn the evil empire not to rise again even if he looses his life in this game.

Asha wokeup and fell unconscious… After speaking to Suraj, Tanu went with Chief to Asha’s room who called the Commissioner.

Asha wokeup.. . Tanu comforted her giving her the confidence that she is out of danger. Asha asked about the officer as she remembered him carrying her… She was briefed about the happenings and asked her to tell what she witnessed. After much hesitation and thinking about the ugliness and after she knew her friends are fine she was ready to speak.

The magistrate was called to the hospital to record the testimony along with the Commissioner and the official videographer in a closed room. Only Tanu was there with the Chief and they were made to sign a stamped non disclosure document and confidentiality agreement before the testimony was recorded.

Asha unveiled the ugly truth…

The blackday

I was waiting for my friend as she had gone to come with the boy. I was going towards the bustop when I saw my friends coming from the bylane opposite to my road. It was dark, and they suddenly were taken away in a car going back in the same road. I ran towards when it lead me to the back side of the Lodge.. I could not locate them but as it was late evening there was no one in the front but a door near the lift was open. I went through that which lead to a passage and I was behind a door which was opening into a big room which was very big with bed and lights. Through the passage it was dark and had many small white coloured sacks stacked and there a small pack opened it looked like some powder. I heard few weird noise.. she went into Tanu hiding…she shivered. They allowed her to take deep breath and gave her time … she continued…. I saw a boy and girl.. and another man with a camera she closed her yes ..and she started to palpitate…I was scared didi it was was …she cried they were without cl…. They carried them in the bed spreads. I was shocked about to shout when I saw two men(description of Bhero and Deeraj was given) carrying my friends in a dazed state. I was about to call them when one added white powder in some drink and was making them to drink. I shrieked out when one of them saw me..I got scared I ran ran out side without knowing she had come through the opposite door to Kabir's bungalow around the outhouse where she left her slipper and ran to the road. The goons followed her when they saw Suraj chasing them into the small lane… Looking at him they quickly threw the poisoned knife at her which hit her back and ran away.. Suraj caught her and lifted her to his jeep. She realized she was being carried by a police officer and was wanting to tell him about her friends but due to the stab she could say only powder and faint.

The police brought an album containing photographs of various criminals when she shrieked out seeing Deeraj’s photo along with Bheros photo, which was sent by Kabir to the Commissioner.

In order to maintain confidentiality and also to give protection this was not told in the media and was to be produced only in court for the judges to witness.

Her parents were in shock but the police provided safety and she was shifted to a special room.

The last straw

Suraj nabbed Deeraj and asked the police to take him to the van.

He told Deeraj to confess to the crimes so that he can be set free. The evil did not heed to it.

The Devil was very calm… he told the boy and girl have already identified him and that he will be surely punished though his boss may escape as everywhere only his fingerprints are there especially on the box sent to Chakor with the necklace and money. He said he is aware they are dealing with drugs so he will be the prime accused as the boy and the girl saw him when they were conscious. This jittered Deeraj a bit but he wasn’t ready to fall prey. Finally, Suraj tied the bomb around Deeraj when he shouted in fear, no no he said.

He then told the nasty business they were doing. Suraj asked what they did with the two. He said they brought them to the room through the stairs when the boy started to gain consciousness, he started agitating holding the coat of Bhero and was trying to hit him(that was how the cufflink had fallen on the stairs)… but they quickly carried them to the room and made them drink drugs lazed drink so that they become urged and get intimate when Suraj for the first time just bent Deeraj’s right index finger backward completely when he screeched in pain… He said they were from the rural and could not take that simple doze which was heavy for them so they fell completely unconscious. They shifted them to another room down the lodge as because of Asha’s case the police especially Suraj was around. They were given again doze to keep them quiet and finally they decided to throw them off the river.

He asked Suraj to remove the bomb. Suraj said he is handcuffing along with him, and has the remote in his pocket.. He said if Bhero releases Chakor I will release you but if you try to act smart then with no mercy I will blow myself along with you as I care a dam about my life. The pain in his finger which literally broke and the no nonsense of Suraj made him quiet.

He knew Bhero would try to protect Deeraj as he was his scapegoat and Bhero is clever not to do any dealings in his name, so he had kept the dummy in his pocket while connecting the trigger to the handcuff as he expected Bhero to shoot at the handcuff to save his henchman.

The strategist knitted the web well that the whole empire could not come through it.

The final game

He made all necessary arrangements with the police to follow in plain car, the ambulance and the footages before he plunged into the death knell.

It was over few hours that Chakor was just awe stuck at the coins that he had moved and the way he weaved the web… The way the Devil had ensured the empire was burnt to ashes..while his Angel flew safe.

Ajay and Tanu left them…

She turned to see Suraj, who by then slept off due to the trauma and also due to the medicines effect… but her right was still in his left…for the first time she saw him properly to realise he was indeed a handsome Devil. Sharp nose, upright chin, his pink lips proved that he doesn’t smoke, his broad shoulders, long legs and strong arms even in sleep did not slip his hold. His torso was completely bandaged but still she could see that scar in his rib which proved that he is indeed a Kshatriya…

Not wanting to remove her hands and disturb his sleep, she kneeled beside his bed, holding his hands went into sleep.

For the first time Dr.Chakor found a man who did not want to shun his responsibility of leaving her hands even in his sleep…

In the middle of the night he suddenly woke up to see her hands within his…. He looked beside to realise she was beautiful,face so innocent, small fit… he could not move even a bit on his own as he wanted to lift her to make her lie down properly but smiled to realise that she was beginning to trust a man… He went back to sleep keeping his hand on hers…..

He smiled, yes she is no ordinary woman to be beside him always… she is Dr. Chakor who has married her profession first like he his duty….

Did the Dr. eat he asked…No she does not when she has an early OT..but please you eat as I have to report to her how much you ate.

He smiled…. Indeed his Angel is Arrogant not always but yes sometimes……………He may be a Devil but her Darling ate without any fuss though it was like a cattle fodder..
