So guys .

It's very sad to see udaan out of top 10.

Last week it was on 12th but this week it is in 13th (too bad)

What can be the reasons for low TRP

1. Maansik bandhuagiri

mostly ladies at home wattch serials .May be they dont want accept this (women empowerment) just like the ladies in the show .

2.Lack of drama

may be TRP is low due to lack of drama .As the TRP always wanted and liked nail bitting scenes 😡

3.Chakor shown as typical bahu

May be they dont like to see Chakor as a typical bahu.

4. Sukor turned to Sukorvi

May be many young people who watch udaan got disinterested in the show bcoz of Sukor having a baby .They would have thought there wont be romance anymore .It will be a family drama .

5. Karan's entry and Imli's re-entry

May be they would have thought that they are dragging the story as the main reason of the show got completed (i.e Freedom )

6.Daily soap

Udaan changed into ordinary show like other daily soap (i.e family drama )

After seeing Imli alive they may have got disappointed thinking she didnt die yet they quit watching the show .

So what do u think guys ?

I think slow pace,less drama are the main reasons.

Mansik banduvagiri is something that is not easy to execute.

Udaan used to be loud always and lot of drama and when KN was around it was always about direct fight.

Both sides should be equally powerful to make it interesting.

Sukor vs KN combo was one such tashan of equals.

Even the backstabbing and manipulative Imli work better when Sukor believing her.

And RV was scary.

But Karan was not interesting enough.

Imli's disguise is making others look dump.

They should try to bring element of suspense to story and trp audience will love intriguing drama and what willl happen next feeling.

And I don't mind Sukor having difference of opinions regarding practical matters because both are different personalities and loving each other doesn't change that.

But no fight for stupid reasons or things they both look dump.

I think it's the slow pace first, Imli started planning in the 4th week after the leap and so far Karan's plans aren't clear. The lack of pace even affected TRPs before leap, the show has been slowly losing viewers since the second week after Suraj got his memory back.

The second reason is the lack of drama, what did we get last week? Imli talking to Chagan/Bhuka, Gauri winning the prize and Karan refusing to come to Azaadganj and then reaching there. Maybe it could've been more exciting if done better but it wasn't.

The third reason is execution, watch any old episode and see how often the scene would change, every 3 or 4 minutes, now we get long scenes and long dialogues and Sukor are almost always together which forces them to have longer scenes because they have few actors.

I don't think young viewers contribute much to TRPs since they mostly watch online and Saanvi has been the best thing about this leap beside this modern Suraj. It's families that matter.

It's hard to judge if viewers will like the track or not because CVs aren't giving the track a chance with the extreme dragging, also until last Friday it looked likely that Karan would be an obsessive lover but now it's clear he is after power, so it's only this week that the track took shape.

It's only this week that Imli and Karan have had significant ss, the past weeks they had few scene, Imli in particular had very few scenes, so I don't think it's because of her, ghulam track had very good TRPs and she took center stage then, if viewers can forgive keeping her over KN, why wouldn't they forgive keeping her over RV?

The show didn't drop much this week compared to other shows, the big drop was the week before.

I'd like to add that the way they handled maansik bandhua issue was very bad and may have driven some people away, but if that's the reason, then they'll start to come back once Karan's plans become clear, the issue has taken a backseat now. Never ever lecture the viewers, no body likes to be treated as an idiot who needs guidance.

It's true that the show is having more functions now but it's still not a typical drama, no kitchen politics or silly misunderstandings, although this may change in the coming weeks with Imli still in disguise.

Even in the leap promo it was clear that Sukor will face external trouble, so they never gave an indication it'll turn into a typical saas-bahu.

This 1.5 year hasn't worked for TRP

5 year leap gave us a TRP hike,we were in top 5 for 3 weeks consecutively,but this promo didn't tune audience to watch Udaan,TRP didn't even rise after immediate week of promo

I agree and the promo was very strong .This 1 year leap promo was also good but not as strong as the five year leap promo .

This is strictly my opinion.

They are to many factors which are just not clicking with the current track. I have been watching from start and never have I been so bored with any phase or track before. This is the worst phase and the episodes are so plain and boring. They is no X factor. Udaan has always had the X factor and that's what has worked for the show In the past

We lost so many viewers in the 2week of the leap so we were bound to loose even more post ipl. Execution not engaging enough

The scenes are not effective and are way to long. They just go on and on without a purpose.

Episodes are so slow even if you miss a few, you won't miss out on the story and that's happening be the progress is minimal. Not a good sign bec audience needs to be curious to tune in the following day. That should be the key for a different show like udaan

Precap most of the time reveal the next episode. Another turn off

I personally always wanted to see chakor to have the family angle in her life because she has had such a tough life, so seeing her with suraj sanvi in the haveli all happy is soothing but I do miss the active chakor. I think her dialogues have been repeative and they should give her effective scenes and keep her practical. All words and no play makes her scenes monotonous. Her lectures and long speeches have been another turn off.I want Chakor take charge like she did in all other tracks.

The Mumbai trip was poorly executed. Though I did like chakor idea of getting all interested in gauri work via sanvi, the rest i felt was plain and sukor first meet with Karan could have been shot better. It was half baked. They hardly spent on the execution and showed any interesting scenes

They should have not revealed Karan negative in front of the audience. They should have built on the suspense. That's something which could have grabbed eyeballs, like they did with Ranvijay. They built on his character.

We have had a overdose of sukor romance imo. To many similar scenes between them. Audience finding everything too OK. That's unlike Udaan. The should have mixed romance with proper drama

The bhopal promotions another let down and as much as i know they won't really help trps as such, still not sending chakor/meera there is a huge disappointment, Good word of mouth can help a show and here with this kind of promotion they not attracting audience but annoying them. I personally identify Udaan with chakor character. ( not saying other characters aren't imp)

Suraj imo has become to ideal now. Yes it's good seeing him mature but I find him sugar coated at times esp wuth his scenes with Chakor. Audience maybe finding his character change to much to digest. They should keep the unpredictable nature of the character intact. That what makes the character so special. I did like his chagan and tejaswani scenes but i miss the old suraj shades

Sukor sanvi scenes are cute but I don't think sanvi is pulling in viewers. maybe a baby at this stage of the show wasn't required and at times audience can think a baby means a major leap on the way. Another turn off

Imli being the old lady is to obvious. Silly no one can recognise her. Another turn off

Agree that the leap was unnecessary but I think until Chakor gets back in action, we won't be sure if the viewers have rejected the leap or not. Even the promo about Suraj regaining his memory didn't bring a hike in ranking and was soon followed by a big drop.

And TBH, there is nothing to attract regular viewers now, I thought to myself a couple of times that if I was one of them and accidentally switched the channels I wouldn't continue watching. Happy Sukor/Sukorvi scenes are good stress busters, if moderately used but they overuse them and they can't be a substitute for drama. Fans love these scenes but they're of no interest to regular viewers.

I think the quality is slowly improving, Saturday's episode and the last two were good, (yesterday's was engaging although Imli got on my nerves), they need to build on that. Still, viewers will be disappointed that the drama will fizzle out, drama while keeping Sukor in the dark won't work for long.

IMO the last really good week in the show was the jungle track, after that it has been up and down. Let's hope TRPs pick up or they'll need to change some of the writers and the director.

I think they should have wait another two months till IPL is over to go for a leap and for start of a new concept called mansik banduvagiri.

Last track was ended abruptly.Whereas they end that track of killing KN and Chakor going to jail in good style.

And 5 year leap promo was intriguing.

There was still scope for last track and open fight between Sukor vs hyar.

And if they want lmli scot free,it would have better RV accidentally killed himself and ending the track with Imli got arrested for her wrong doings but free herself from jail like KN did with the help of someone.

And now for two tracks,Imli not getting any punishments.

She was promoted as mantri once and now freely roaming around and fooling around.

This new concept is confusing.

And psychological domination,cultural barriers or women empowerment and all are not easy to execute in an interesting manner or to the liking of trp audience.

Audience are used to watch Chakor fighting against injustice so far.

So for that if Imli is coming back from jail as Jogan or something and started her way of exploiting people and Chakor fighting against it would have work better .

I mean direct fight is something that show is missing for long.

And they could have use Pakhi and she was missing nowadays and her complaints about marriage pressure can have scope.

But again CVS skipped that part.

The 5 year leap promo was very intriguing the 1.5 year leap promo was also good but not as attractive. The current storyline isn't exciting the show just doesn't have the same charm which it used to have. I recorded all the episodes from the last two weeks on my recording box but haven't watched a single one yet as they seem boring to me. As I am a Sukor loyalist will still push myself to watch all the episodes. If loyal viewers like myself can end up being bored not sure how new viewers will be attracted to the show.

They need more drama the story has been plain boring not interesting enough to engage viewers. The pace of the episodes are slow. I am damn bored of the current track that I no longer have the urge to visit this forum and comment as often. Hope they make the storyline better soon.
