Would like to share one opinion especially for Nimmi di and Geet that Suraj's love for Chakor could never be assigned the tag of RECIPROCATION...

If it comes to physicality,Suraj lose out coz he is not a virgin whereas Chakor is...Bit when it comes to emotional [which matters more],matters...Chakor loses out as It was Suraj who was always connected to her some way...it is just few months back that we got to witness that Chakor can feel even this way for him...

But his feelings for her dates back to the time when she entered azadgunj after years...

The moment he saw her,he was attracted to her,this is what prompted him to flirt with her time and again,as lamely running behind a girl was not his cup of tea,it was his own way...actually,the thing is that he had been always super-obsessed with her...but he wanted to see her defeated as well...Suraj's previous equations with Chakor had been like-AFTER YOU TO BE WITH YOU,AGAINST YOU TO FEEL YOU...much like the song,"TU HI KHWAHISH,TU HI KHATRA,ZEHER TERA DIL MEIN UTRAA"

But if we talk of now,Suraj does not feels for her,or cares for her simply to return her favours or just because he wants to reciprocate her feelings,,,,,,,,

Chakor came up to his rescue when she learned about the conspiracy against him...and slowly she started feeling for him...

But Suraj's concern and silent care[which he himself never acknowledged] for her dates much back-

1.During Imvaan's reception,he insulted her in front of the guests,but still there was few second scene with Sukor aside,where she was about to fall,and he held her by her arm in full attitude,to avoid her from tripping.

2.after the jagraata night,when he was dragging her to her parents home,and Chakor was pricked by a thorn,he stopped,himself took out the thorn off her feet...and then even carried her in his arms to her house.

3.he just sprang like Usain Bolt,during the navraatri dance,he just could not withstand her falling and getting hurt.

4.the very next day,he broke the door for her and carried her in his arms,when she fainted,did not anyone noticed the yearning in his attitude when she was suffocating

5.when the 4 were kidnapped,and there was a point when Chakor was ready to end her life for saving the rest three,what he said..."Zyaadah herogiri dikhaane ki zarurat nahi hai,tumne,yeh bhi nahi socha ki agar tumhe kuch ho jaata,toh hum ladenge kiske saath,hamaari zindagi se toh saara mazaa hi chala jaata'

6.there was scene after kn returned that he wanted to make a deal with Chkor,when Suraj returned home,he got to know it from her mother that kn had gone to meet Chakor in her home,What he did...his expressions,the way he immediately rushed to see if she was ok

and there are many more such examples,when he silently cared for her,was concern for her,but he himself never acknowledged it out of his ego,like in all the above examples he CARED FOR HER,WHEN SHE USED TO COMPLETELY WHINE AT HIM...

And yes,Chakor always wins hands on,when showing the passion...but what about any verbal acknowledgement...It is Suraj who always wins here...

Chakor always gets to show her passion for him through her actions,but Suraj always yearns for a reason behind it,I believe that he always waits for a green signal from her side...which sadly she never gives...

1.during there night stay in the village,on their way to delhi...in the rain...they were both discussing if their future partners,Chakor wants someone in complete contrast to him...and he gives an account exactly resembling her,the way he was saying all those,I felt as if he was trying to know the truth of what SHE FEELS FOR HIM...but sadly the way she reacted,suraj immediately stepped back

2.During the drunk sequence also,It was Suraj for whom IT MATTERED THAT ONE DAY THE DUO WILL BE SEPARATED...he asked this to her,then also he she did not uttered anything worthwhile...

3.Even after the dangal sequence,when she was applying ointment,IT WAS SURAJ WHO QUESTIONED HER OF WHY SHE CARES SO MUCH FOR HIM...then also he was left disappinted...

The fact is The horrid things he had done in the past,he just does not expresses himself fully even in front of Chakor...he was known to be 'self-centered','self-loving'...but the way things have been unfolded off lately in his life and thanks to the people around him,he had been turned into a SELF-HATER...

That is the reason why he appears to be so much restrained in his feelings development for Chakor...

The man respects her so much that he even hesitates to touch her,how could we expect passion...

AND LASTLY,TAGGING HIS FEELINGS FOR CHAKOR AS RECIPROCATION WOULD BE UNFAIR.VERY,VERY UNFAIR...

I really really disliked Chakor's "jo pati khata hai,wohi patni khayegi". More than the fact that she's become Azadgunj's #1 despo, this is waaay too regressive for a character like her (coming from Imli,totally understandable).

Also Suraj going around asking for work in exchange for two square meals a day makes me want to throw something at the CVs. What is the NEED for all this? He's learnt his lesson already, so I don't see how this helps the story at all.

Also, he DOES have funds in his bank accounts that are not under KNR's control. Aaand he owns the frikkin haveli. Are they planning to use this ever? KNR just made him sign some rubbish "bandhua agreement", he never signed his money or property away. So why is it that he's a pauper?

yes he was attracted to her right from the beginning.
flirted with her and wanted her.
cared for her too. but was that enough?

coz when push came to shove; when it came to life and death: he did NOT drop imli to protect Chakor. he was ready to let imli die in a heartbeat for his mother.

that scene alone broke my heart for Chakor.
the trio.. Suraj, imli and Vivaan mouthed only dialogues at her. but NO ONE took active stance to protect her. she had to save herself and the rest. Vivaan was clear he will save his Imli, Suraj his mother.. what about Chakor?

that's why i am finding her showing NO sense of self preservation and common sense and insecurities... extremely stupid.
world including Suraj hardly gave any reason to her that they will chose her above everything.
her fiance dumped her for her sister in matter of weeks.
her husband cared for her sister and her happiness more.
her parents cared a jot for her.

i don't question her from moving on from Vivaan. the man has been such an ass it would be waste of time to pine for such entity.
what i find unbelievable is the speed and intensity with which she fell for Suraj.
yes he changed into a precious man who could go to any extent to protect her and for her happiness... but she fell for him even before his transformation.
the man tired to frigging rape you. was father of your sister's child. mouthed intense dialogues for your sister. proposed her. wanted to elope with her. so her speed and intensity of 'falling in love' astounds me. in not a pleasant way.

and what i find disappointing about Suraj that he has been a pale version of his own self from that blasted diwali rescue day. complete and utter dependence on chakor and her fighting his battles for him.
this is culmination of everything NOT only bandua track.

yes he loves her. but unless the makers gives him some intense monologues, missing Chakor, pining for her, angst and such scenes his love will look like reciprocation and jarootat only... because the dialogues he has been using are... Chakor does so much for me. she cares for me and so on.

no need to pin her to walls and go dark on her (i won't mind that) but passion and intensity are SO required from him . if not in actions atleast in thoughts. because Chakor is clearly showing both.. in actions and words and thoughts.
