Another glimpse that he is not so bad a person - is by the way he reacts to Chakor's accusing him of killing his Dad. Both times - he's responded defensively - and it bothered him. he did not show a completely callous attitude. CVs have been really good with the attention given to developing him. Also I remember him mentioning in another episode that he always took trouble to protect Imli. Like you - really hoping he does not go completely black. Gut instinct says - no - all this blackening is set up for a mini redemption on Sunday - hope i'm not wrong :)
