The essence of the show was DK Dishas maan se maan ka rishta and if that was preserved then even after the leap the story could have continued at least for sometime....Rupu must be shedding tears over her loss now...she did not listen to the viewers...she did not give them what they wanted...this was bound to happen...but I still miss my TD soooooooooooo much 😭

And then the writers could have done what American TV loves to do, fast forward 15-18 yrs., and then Disha's daughter or son would become the focal point of the show and it would take off from there.

Yes parveen i totally agree and then even after the leap they continued the story with other kids hating dishas child would be a good story and then the viewers would have accepetd it well, the new leap although it was freshening it seemed like a complete new serial with the same title.

Basically Halima TD ended with Disha's death...its continuation after that was a futile attempt on part of Rupu to continue a show that was dead....I feel sad...now that I am watching it all over again I am enjoying it even more and feel sad that it is over.

Yes i agree parveen but what can Rupu do Chavi had to quit wether leap or no leap due to her weight throwing everyone had enough of her attitude so she had to leave.

Rupu did not want her show to end i mean we didnt either did we. Why should Rupu end her show just cos one actress is creating problems, i know the leap didnt work but even by replacing chavi the audience would still not accepted the new one due to too much comparison.

But Chavi and Poonam were entirely different actresses. It's not like they brought in Poo to "play" the role of Disha. I just don't understand any of it. I'm also bored..... and grumpy. 😡

Yes i agree chavi and poonam are 2 diff actresses but the leap wasnt a good idea at all maybe if poonam came in without the leap then the show could have been more interesting to watch, Rupu made the show like a fresh one but with the same title.

Good point. I totally agree. Poonam should have come in as an "extra" so to speak. Oh well, we all know that, but we also know it just ain't gonna happen.

yes wish that it went for a bit longer, Rupu lacked in her storyline somewhere too, if i was Rupu then i would have bought in a good twist with vijendra back that would have been a good turn for the trps and the audience.
