Hi Chhavi, you seem to have done a lot of things before starting to act in TV serial. How did you manage to get into so many things, I mean how did you get a chance, considering you lived in Delhi and not Mumbai? Did you have a lot of contacts?
Chhavi Hussein > No, I didn't have any contacts. Delhi also has a lot of things happening, like modelling, commercials and anchoring. Although, they don't happen on very large scales like in Mumbai. I used to always go for auditions and get selected, as ive got such a lovely famished Figure people would see my figure as the best one.
Hi Chhavi, do you plan to enter films and have there been any offers?
Chhavi Hussein > There have been many offers for films. But I don't plan to enter films currently because the kinds of films being made are not to my liking and my hubby Mohit is very conservative and wouldn't let me as there is always too much touching from other heroes and my hubby gets jealous.
What's your take on love and marriage? Do you believe in love at first sight? How many times have you been in love and how was the feeling?
Chhavi Hussein > I totally believe that one should only get married if one is in love. Just as I am with my hubby Mohit our love is Eternal No, I don't believe in love at first sight. I have been in love only once - I still am – and hope to be the rest of my life with my one and only hubby Mohit as he is such a great Director he directs me of everything from Professional to personal.
Who are you married to? How did you meet him?
Chhavi Hussein > I am married to Mohit Hussein. He was directing me for a telefilm (Yes or No) where we met. He is a director and my maid he cooks for me as well as other housekeeping Duties and sometimes acts as my personal make up man and a hairdresser.
Very strange name. What is the reason behind it?
Chhavi Hussein > Chhavi is not a strange name. I think it's an unusual name. It means image, but my husband Mohit wants me to change it to Chooi.
You got married so early? Do you think it will hamper your career growth in the long run?
Chhavi Hussein > I don't think being married or single matters in the TV industry, as I have stuck to my Hubbys orders everywhere from the bathroom to my show sets, and besides my hubby is a Director so what differerence would it make as ive got him to protect me and i could work in his shows.
Hi Chhavi, when is your birthday?
Chhavi Hussein > Sept. 4 but its like a birthday to me everyday, my husband Mohit loves me so much and as hes intelligent so he helps me and he treats me like a kid and gives me everything I ask for so to me my birthday is everyday.
What are your next plans?
Chhavi Hussein > My plans are to bag as many offers I possibly can, that is why you'll see my dressed up like a street side waif when I go out with my hubby and that is why you sometimes see me sat on his lap or kissing him so if were lucky some producers can cast us together and we can make our new film TOUCH ME MORE
Are you doing any more serials?
Chhavi Hussein > No, I am not but I am still fishing around for more offers, I believe that the more u can bag then the more famous it makes you and in that case I can write stories to the media regarding my married life.
What sort of roles would you like to do in films and on TV?
Chhavi Hussein > I don't know what sort of roles but definitely different ones and exciting ones but I would like to be a Spinster as my marriage life would be successfully a bliss.
Are you game for doing item number? Have you been approached to do one?
Chhavi Hussein > I don't think I am an item number material in the first place. I have not been approached, and even if I am offered such a role, I don't think I can expose, as much it is required for an item number.
By answering the previous question that you would not be able to expose at all when it comes to the screen which is well respected, well my question is that what is the problem in you exposing on screen when you expose when your out and about in parties and functions as the way you dress in public is appropriate as usually in item numbers heroines aren't even expected to expose compare to how you expose in public?
Chavi> PAUSE – umm well I don't think I can answer that question as my hubby is not around well in fact I just do what my hubby says as I am scared of him he might turn into a Dog and Bite me so I have to do as he says otherwise no acting offers for me.
