Hi Guys...

As my title suggests (and ofcourse my siggies being a big giveaway😆)...I am not a member of this forum at all...and its weird in that I have watched and loved this show from Day 1 but never came here as u see...some other show had me on a certain "high" which obviously had to make a humpty dumpty fall at some point and now that it has been done...I am more velli (free😆) to pop here.

Ne ways...cutting short on my history and geography...I really wanted to make a post to praise and applaud that 1 actor who have not only helped maintain the standards of TP but also brought some much needed freshness...new energy and a charm of its own to the floor. And I am talking of non other but Varun Badola.

This guy...being sort of a veteran in Indian TV shows and having some great history and experience behind him...I am so grateful and infact salute the intelligence of the makers of the show to cast this gem in the show at such point when IK decided to abort for his own reasons (and I have no qualms about that...every actor is entitled to make such decisions on their career). With the show doing so well with Anshuman, Paakhi and Ayaan chemistry...to break that web and enter the ring and make a niche for himself is no piece of cake walk. It takes talent...experience and a certain level of confidence from the actor along with the current acting team to incorporate him and build that bond from the "middle". Ofcourse credit also goes to writers and rest of the production team people to be able to come up with a completely new character and restart the story...but to give that effort complete justice...actors like Varun Badola should be given a pat on the back.

He has not only given the show a new horizon...but brought in his own freshness and aura which is very well commendable. When I read IK's tweet...I had not known who will and how will this show proceed. Infact I had thought..."that's it...another wonderful show goes down the dump"...coz I have seen...time and time again...when a jodi is hit...viewers cannot accept replacements to any one of the partners...so I really was skeptical about the fate of the show. But when I saw Varun on screen...I was like "Oh...its him...this guy is worth giving a try"...as I had seen his previous work...and I was curious to find out how he will tackle this and least I'd mention...the guy did not fail my expectations...he rather highly impressed me. He has not tainted Anshuman-Paakhi's beautiful relationship...but has begun to create his own place in Paakhi's and Ayaan's life. He is not a clone version of Anshuman but rather a character of his own esteem and values and he is slowly breathing life into Paakhi's and Ayaan's life. Now this is what I call "moving on"...very realisticly ...sensibly and sensitively handled by the writers...so kudos to them.

A word of praise also goes to Shraddha for creating yet another unique chemistry with Varun which is totally different from what she shared with IK but yet has a flavor and color of its own. On that note...actors playing roles of Ayaan, Anuja, Girish, Lavanya and even the housekeepers...all deserve a round of applaud for continuing to entertain us with their sheer talents and brilliance as they incorporate this huge change in the story and churn out convincing performances to make for a good viewing...

All in all...Kudos to the entire team of Tumhari Paakhi...for remaining unique while being as close to realism as possible and still entertaining us👏

I agree with you sajni and welcome to the forum.:) Please feel free to be homely here and start discussing the show with us. :)

I agree that when Iqbal left in the middle, the decision of makers to bring a matured actor like Varun badola has actually worked well because Veer as he plays has made his own place in the viewers heart as well as in Paakhi's and Ayaan's life.

Moreover, we cannot deny the fact that because of Varun;s acting, we saw the process of moving on so maturely and sensibly.

I as well, appreciate all the actors for their hardwork for this show till here.:)

Sajni that is a very nice post. It brings in a breath of freshness to forum now trying to find its footing anew.
Welcome and please - like the rest of us, hang on.

You are right the CVs, crew and cast of TP need a special hand of applause for not missing a beat after the sudden, unexpected departure of Anshuman.

I think the story has got more interesting post-Anshuman. It has taken a line that is seldom shown on TV. It is not about a couple romancing, it is not about a typical saas-bahu situation where a false sense of sanskaar is upheld, and finally it is not about a social justice.

It is simply a story of human interaction that is beautifully conjectured by the CVs and portrayed by the actors.

Welcome Sajni,
So good to have you here and i hope you keep on being active. Being a Varun fan myself, I can attest that his acting is superb.
I did start the show for him, but because I found Paakhi so awesome I started the show from the start. I have enjoyed the story of Anshuman and Pakkhi... but at the end of the day, he is no longer there.
Veer came in into the frame, and yes he is well capable of making a space for himself. They are taking the mature approach. And it will be nice to see there romance unfold slowly and steadily.
Paakhi is in no way ready for that and that is understandable. But they are on the right track as they both found in each other a friend and companion that understand exactly what the other is going through.
As long as the show is on air i will enjoy it. And when it is over...well i may be sad , but life goes on and we can thank every one for their contribution for making this one serial that has been enjoyable from the beginning till now...

Hello,
Its so good to read your post, u know its not easy to take a show who's main actor left it, it might be easy to start work in a show that just started and u know that people might accept u the way it comes, but its hard to join a story where it was already running and u never know how will people welcome u, also i m happy that he got a new character and not a replace of any one, so well done varun for that , for keeping the character fresh and loved!!
well done to varun , writers and cast !! every one doing great job and may this show gain more success

Sajni ji...I remember u from RR forum. Loved your posts and always connected with them 🤗 don't know if u remained active there or not...I stopped going there in order to keep the remaining pieces of my heart intact :)

Coming to your post, well said. You've highlighted some great points. I will just add something about Varun Badola. I've actually grown up watching his shows! The first one I remember was Koshish eik asha. And another one is Eik chabhi hai padoss mein which belongs in my list of most favourite shows. He is a man with sheer talent, and continues to impress me with his character in TP. Some are not happy with new twists whereas others are pleased with new developments. But Varun has maintained his level of performance and we should back him for that :)

It would hve ended there but CV n the channel wanted to continue with this because once it was number one show on the channel... But now decided to end it. Thank you

I am an IQ fan but I cannot disagree with the post maker, everything is not about TRPs the post is to acknowledge an actor who has come into the show and been professional and fantastic in the job that has been given to him and for that I completely will agree and applaud VB.
As for disappointment about fans of IQ and trps - the fact is zindagi ka naam hai moving on - aage badhna chahiye, in fact I feel that IQ has taught me this over and again with the way he has left his shows and moved on to assignments and roles which he feels is better for his career. I as his fan have two choices stop watching when he stops and just follow him or appreciate the actor who comes in his place and also watch out for IQ for his new shows and wish him the best. He has moved on, we should also respect and move on ourselves!

Hey MIKFan :)
Here this post is made for appreciating Varun Badola and for Not comparing him with Iqbal Khan. Noone has degraded him nor abused him for his choice to move on leaving Tumhari Paakhi. All of us have respected his decision of quitting tumhari paakhi and moving on to next projects which he think are better for his career. And like one of the mate told above, Iqbal has taught us about moving on by leaving his shows and moving to new projects, so when he can move on, so why not us?
I know it takes ample of time to move on, but just to respect the decision made by Iqbal himself, we can move on. Also, it was Iqbal's decision to move on and not creatives decision to end Anshuman's fictional character. They ended it when Iqbal wanted to move on.

regarding this post, it is about a versatile actor, Varun Badola who has supported Tumhari Paakhi when the serial needed a matured person. And he has done appreciative job which cannot be denied nor ignored. TRP case doesn't even come here. Because we are discussing about the versatility and encouraging work.

please agree to disagree and learn to respect other's views as they also have their views and choices.:)
