i am elaborating the idea

partho and sumona get married without the consent of their parents ,sumona had to bear the brunt of being a kayasth as partho's family is against intercast marriage

sumona often takes help of tools when partho is out of station and fulfills her need ,this couple sometime sends their 7 years old kid to sumona's home so that they can utlize this time .

garvit and garima are mutually cheating with each other and are only with each other for money .

Avishek for a long time was out of money and job , his books were not being published ,this was the time he got Rohini's support emotionally and financially .These three couples will make kalyani grew in the relation by their own relation statistics . Malhar too will grow in this relation .

I think Gayu answered this question. But Malhar just promised Atul that his marriage to Kalyani won't stop her from being successful or being educated, which is what Atul was worried about. He promised to make her something and someone in life, not just have her identity be a house wife. Atul's biggest issue with Malhar was that he thought Malhar was a giant creep that married Kalyani for his own benefit. That's why he thought her marriage to Malhar would ruin her and he was so determined to separate them.

Reason why Malhar has been staying away from her is mainly due to guilt, I think he didn't want Kalyani to feel at any point that he was using her for sex or something. Plus when he married her, he did it against her will when she was barely 18, he didn't want feel like he was forcing himself on her physically as well. And most importantly, if she doesn't love him, he didn't want her to sleep with out of obligation or duty.

Another thought: it has always bothered me how CVs have regressed Kalyani's character over time.... she came on hellbent on taking revenge for Madhuri's death and over time formed a mother daughter bond with Anupriya.

Anu and Pillu are the two people for whom,basically,she can do anything and go to to any extent... but why doesn't ever stand up for herself the same way,whether it's against her own family/loved ones or strangers? It hurts my eyes to see the girl who set out to teach Anu to stand up for herself,not do the same herself.

This would be awesome. kalma together facing romantic couple and seeing their PDA will definitely make them think about their relationship and as roshni and avishek are open minded it would be great if they ask kalma personal questions them they sit together. Before malhar and kalyani was given knowledge individually now gaining it together will make them realize that physical relation is important in the marriage as this differentiates wife and husband's relationship with other relations.
