Old episode - Malhar goes to college with Mangalsutra

I was watching the old episode where Kalyani takes off Mangalsutra before going to college. Malhar comes to college and gives it to her infringe if everyone. Why did he do it? Was it to embarrass her?

I am not sure but firstly he was possessive for his wife and somewhere he want to embarrass her in front of her friend.

I also felt seeing a few of those episodes that Malhar was really possessive about Kalyani. More than love he was possessive.

First thing he felt that she was ashamed to show herself up in the collage as a married women. According to mlahar it was Just like she wanted to pretend as a spinster young girl infront of her friend or even like she wanted to maintain that aura.thatswhy she left her mangalsutra at home and didn't wear sindoor on first day to collage . Aparna also added fuel to fire and instigated him saying that she told her friend who called her that it's not time for Marraige. So to hurt ya show her down her he did this and he was somewhere possessive and wanted all to know that she is married woman and kalyani belonged to him. It was like don't you collage students dare to look at her she is married and we have a kid . It was like an announcement.he didn't want to loose kalyani like sampada and wanted to break her kuwari image. Though few knew it because she came with pillu for entrance test.
