For @diveksha
Bas thoda sa change dear ki sampada shaadi aur bache ke baad nahi shaadi vale din hi bhage baki sab same

It was a Saturday.

He had met Kalyani on a Saturday. He remembered because she had been covered in mud when they had met. Here she was, a 17 year old girl, asking around for Maai's address. She hadn't called her Maai. She had called her Anupriya. He had known Maai since he was a child. He knew everything about Maai. She was like a second mother to him. So imagine his surprise when a city girl comes to the village asking for Maai, calling her Anupriya. It was shocking.

He had been about to be married in that house. He was about to be married to Sampada, Aparna Taai's daughter. He did not like Aparna Taai. But he did like Sampada. She was sweet, beautiful, and could keep up with him. He hadn't known her for long, but he was already halfway in love with her. Most importantly, Sampada respected Maai, which was like a gold medal in his eyes. She was kind of perfect.

However, Kalyani, she had hated Maai with all her being. She was so angry with Maai all the time. When Atharva told him how Kalyani had been responsible for Maai being in prison, he had hated Kalyani. So much that he was always threatening her. He would always reprimand her.

Then Maai had told him that Kalyani was Atul's daughter. That had been a shock to him. She had then told him that Madhuri was dead. And that was even more shocking to him. He had crashed his car straight into Kalyani that day. Unintentionally. He had wanted to shoot her away for coming back in Maai's life. But that wouldn't do. He didn't kill innocent people. Even though she was far from innocent.

She was a little girl, who was petty enough to plan revenge against people she didn't like. She was this immature person who didn't really understand what Maai has been through. So when, because of her, Aausaheb kicked Maai and her out of the house, he helped them. He let them stay in his house. Even though his future mother-in-law hated the idea, he supported them. Not because of Kalyani, but because of Maai.

It was a Saturday.

When it all came out, it had been a Saturday. Kalyani had poisoned Maai unknowingly. And he had been so angry at her. So so angry. He wanted to bash her head somewhere. He wanted to shake her. But he didn't. Because when the truth of Atul, Madhuri and Anupriya had been revealed, Kalyani had been shattered.

That was the day she lost Maai's support. That was the day Maai did not stand by Kalyani. And she had needed someone to be there for her. She had discovered that she was an illegitimate child. That was the day she had earned the title of "Naajaayaz". She had a breakdown that day.

Even though he had hated Kalyani, he could feel her pain that day. That day had marked the end of his hatred for Kalyani. She had realised that even though she had a family, her family didn't want her. That had been the day Maai had rejected her.

But he had come to know the Raabta Maai and Kalyani shared, and that had been the reason he had supported her. He had explained to her. He had stood by her. He had advised her to stay. If not for herself, then for Maai.

She had listened to him. She had not only listened to him but also tried to do right by Maai with every step she took. She even prevented Maai from going to prison when Raosaheb had lost his mind. She had stood by Maai then. He was happy that she was following his advice.

He may not have been there, but he had known what all she did for Maai. He may not have been there, but he had seen how his words resonated within her and made her a warrior for Maai.

She had slowly earned everyone's respect. His too. He admired her for her efforts to make Maai happy. No one had ever done something for Maai. Not even Sampada. But he could not compare Sampada to Kalyani. They were sisters and he was about to marry Sampada. And Sampada was perfect for him.

What he didn't know was that not everybody was happy with her presence. He didn't know that Aausaheb hated her, so much that she would send her own grand-daughter where no even sends their worst enemies. Sometimes, the things Aausaheb did, disgusted him.

It was a Saturday.

The day Maai and Atharva had come running to the bus accident site, looking for Kalyani. He had thought that day, everything bad in Kalyani's life supposedly happened on Saturdays. He had lost all course of thought when he came to know Kalyani had not been recovered yet. He had been shocked even more when he had come to know that Kalyani wasn't even on the bus.

He had had Aausaheb arrested. He had looked for Kalyani everywhere. But he had not been able to find her.

Guess what? Kalyani didn't need anyone's help. She had successfully destroyed the camp of human traffickers and escaped with a bunch of girls from there. She had came back and revealed the truth of Aausaheb. She had been so brave that day. She had made everyone realise that Aausaheb was not perfect.

After that, she had slowly made her place in the family. She had slowly began to become an integral part of the family. She had slowly started to become Maai's daughter.

When she had first called Maai, her Aai, it was on the day of his engagement. He had been ecstatic. He was on cloud nine that day. He was about to be married to a girl of his choice. And on top of that, his Maai was so happy. She was so happy to find a daughter in Kalyani. And Kalyani was so happy because Maai had accepted her as her daughter. It was such a happy day.

But the days following those, he noticed the change in Kalyani's behaviour. He grew suspicious of her. She became nervous around him. He could not understand what was wrong with her. However, he could not pay more attention to them. Because when he saw Sampada, he lost his mind. She had become so important to him. He literally was sweet on her. His inspectors teased him and he didn't even try and stop them, he let them. In fact, he even encouraged them. He was so happy.

Kalyani's birthday came and went. He was angry at her first, for creating a scene on the birthday party. But she had apologised to both him and Maai. He was liking this new change in Kalyani. She was becoming the woman she could be. She had just turned 18, but she was becoming mature now. She was changing now.

It was a Saturday.

Not any Saturday, the day his wedding was suppose to happen. But it didn't. Because when he was planning his perfect wedding, his wife-to-be was planning an perfect escape. Sampada ran away on their wedding day. With Atharva. It was terrible. His world shattered right there and then. What would he do now? The guests were arriving. His reputation and the career were at stake. He would surely be destroyed.

Then he came to know that the family had knowledge of Sampada and Atharva being in a relationship. They knew that something had transpired between them. But not his Maai. Thank God his Maai didn't know. That would have been an ultimate betrayal.

He moved to his room and saw a letter there. A letter which blames the happenings of today on Sampada and Atharva. Sampada is sorry. She's f**king sorry. Wow, couldn't she be sorry a few days back, even yesterday would have been okay. But no. Kalyani had come looking for him. She had told him that Sampada and Atharva were planning to go to Mumbai. She had told him to stop them. She had warned him.

That had been the point when he had exploded. Because apart from sorry, Sampada had mentioned Kalyani as an apprentice, helping her escape. He had been so angry at Kalyani. Again. She had proved she could never mature. She would never grow up. And in his anger, he had blackmailed her.

He blackmailed her into marrying him. He ordered her to marry him, otherwise he would expose her in front of the family. Which he would do anyway. But if she didn't marry him, he would expose her, make sure Maai believes him and kick her out of the house. He had threatened to take away the one thing she had solidly built in this house. He threatened to take away the one thing she had started depending on in her new life.

In his fury, Malhar did the one thing he wasn't allowed to do. He carried out the roles of judge, jury and executioner. He judged that she was guilty, he blamed her as the jury, and he executed her by making her marrying him. He had passed a judgement without gathering evidence, without looking into the matter, without even giving Kalyani the chance to explain herself.

That Saturday wasn't only a bad one for Kalyani, his life was also destroyed that Saturday.

When it was revealed that he had married Kalyani, every one had been shocked. Every one didn't matter to him, the person that had come to matter the most to him, had run away, on their wedding day, leaving him. He had gone dead inside.

That was the only reason, could be the only reason, why when Maai slapped him, he didn't feel a thing. Why when Maai blamed him for destroying her daughter's life, he didn't say anything. He had been numb inside that day. He hadn't done anything that day. He hadn't reacted to anything that day. He hadn't answered any questions that day. He had been in a mode, doing necessary things, but not anything that was essential. He didn't even took Kalyani to his home. He couldn't even bare to look at her.

The next day he had come back, in all his anger. In all his fury. He had blamed the whole Deshmukh family. He had even revealed the truth of how he had managed to make Kalyani marry him. He had been so angry that he had threatened to throw everybody out of the house. He had the property papers in his name. He could do so. In all his madness, he had almost kicked Maai out of the house.

Kalyani had been the one to stop him. She had claimed how Maai was half the owner of the house. How she and anyone she wanted could stay in the house. He saw how Maai and Kalyani supported each other. He saw how Maai believed Kalyani. He saw how Maai believed that Kalyani was speaking the truth.

That had angered him even more. After having wronged him so, how could Kalyani still have Maai's support? Why wasn't she bring punished for what she had done to him? He had to punish her. She had to be punished.

So he did something, something he couldn't even imagine he was capable of. He divided the house. He divided the house and took Kalyani away from Maai. He divided them physically. He took away Kalyani's happiness to punish her. He didn't realise he was also taking away Maai's happiness too.

That day had marked the start of a new hatred he developed for Kalyani.

Hate. Hate was a very small word to describe what he felt for Kalyani. If he never had to see Kalyani's face again, he would be a happy man. But he had married her. That had meant living with her. And he did live with her. In her own house. Which he divided. So he could torture her and her family. What sort of beast he was transforming to? Would he ever be able to shift back to the person he was?

Apparently, he goes worse. He hates on Kalyani, he hates on her family, he hates Maai. Everyone suffers because of his rage. In his anger, he does not even see, that the person most affected by his anger is he himself. His life had become a tragedy. He was himself burning, and anything that came close to him burned too.

The one person who burns the most is Kalyani. She is the most hurt by his actions. She is the one that burns almost as much as him. He tortures her, he tortures her so much that he becomes ashamed of himself. He didn't know that he was capable of this. He didn't know that he could be so angry, that he would burn the world.

He still remembers every torture he has inflicted on Kalyani. He remembers their wedding night. He remembers how he had made her run from the police station to his house. He remembers how he tied her hands to his Jeep and made her run. He remembers how he had kept tiles on her feet. All in punishment for a crime she hadn't even commit. He had come to know later that she had saved a person's life by lying. He had come to know that the lady who had actually steal the money had been desperate for it. Kalyani had helped her, just because she could.

That had been the day he had doubted the truth of Sampada's letter. That had been the day the beast within him started falling for the beauty. He had seen her do multiple things for Maai. He had seen her do multiple things for her family. Hell, if what she had said was the truth, she had done multiple things for him too. But he had no idea that she could do things for people, who just needed her. She had been amazing.

She is amazing.

And then she started doing things for him. Making lunch and bringing it to the station for him. The first few times she did this, she didn't even handed him the tiffin herself. She had handed the tiffin to one of his constables and was gone without even meeting him. His constables had tried to tease him, but his memories of Sampada were still fresh. He remembered how they had teased him for Sampada too. He had shot them one look, and no one had even tried to tease him again.

The first time, he had asked her and ordered her, but she had been defiant. And seeing her like that, fighting back, he had relented. He hadn't had someone to fight back with him for a long time. He had been tired of being the beast. So he let himself be defeated. He still remembers the conversation. It had gone like -

"Kalyani, aaj tum mere liye lunch leke aayi thi? Kyun?" He had asked, and she had replied, "Haan toh aapki patni hone ke naate mera kar-karta-karv" he helped her saying, "Kartavya, agar nahi bola jaa raha toh zimmedaari lelo", he said incredulously. But she misunderstood him and said, "Kartavya, zimmedaari same hi hota hai Malharji." He looked up, if there was a God, this was the right moment, God could save him. "Anyways," she continues, "mera kartavya hai aapke liye yeh sab karna, biwi hun mein aapki." He had said, "Koi zarurat nahi hai, yeh sab karne ki." And she had said, "Mein karungi aur aap mujhe nahi rok paayenge." And she had left the room, with a flare.

Later he would come to know how an argument with Aparna Taai had made her do all this. How Aparna Taai had been taunting her, and she had gone ahead and tried to prove how they were an happy, perfect couple.

Anyone in the world could see that they were not.

But that didn't stop her. She continued doing things for him. Ironing his uniforms, taking care of the house, taking responsibilities of the house. She was becoming his wife in every way, except the way she was supposed to. Because in the privacy of their room, she still slept on the floor, and he on the bed.

It was a Saturday.

He had to present security plans to his chief, he had been prepared. Everything was in place. And then, she had come to the station, in a garbage truck, inside it, and she had handed him the plans . Apparently, their papers had exchanged and she had jumped into the garbage truck to retrieve his papers. Like it was no big deal. Like people just jumped into garbage trucks, for retrieving papers that were not even their own. What was he even thinking, blackmailing her into marrying him? What were his thoughts then?

Oh yeah, Revenge, with capital R. But now, it all seemed pointless. The woman he had thought to be perfect had run away on their wedding day, and the girl he thought would never mature, was committing acts, he had never seen anyone do.

That had been the night he had let her sleep on the bed. In all his guilt he had wanted to sleep on the floor and wanted to get her up on the bed. But she had been defiant there too. She had claimed that they were both responsible, mature adults. They were married. They could certainly share a bed.

She had said, "Malharji, agar aapko uncomfortable ho raha hai, toh hum bed divide kar dete hai." She lifted the pillows and started adjusting them to divide the bed. But he didn't want to let her know, that he was uncomfortable. She didn't seem to be. Why would he be uncomfortable?

Because he was a man, he hadn't had any expectations of this marriage, but having Kalyani in the same bed would do things to him. Because Kalyani was a beautiful woman, who could fulfill any man's desire. But his ego, excuse me, self-respect didn't allow him to admit such defeats.

He had taken the pillow and kept them back in their place. He had seen her raise her eyebrows, questioningly. Answering her, he said, "Iski koi zarurat nahi hai, chalo so jaao."

That night he had slept peacefully. He hadn't had a nightmare. He hadn't even had a dream. He had a peaceful, restful, dreamless sleep. Not only that, he woke up peacefully too. He woke up to see Kalyani and his hand intertwined. With her hand in his, the beast within melted, it wanted to cuddle and hide in the warmth of Kalyani. He wanted to accept that the beast within him had fallen hard for the beauty.

Before he could do anything, he felt Kalyani move. Terrified of her reaction, he closed his eyes. Probably, at the exact moment she woke up. He felt her wake up. He felt her slowly separating their hands. He felt as she stroked her hand on his forehead. He felt as she gently kissed her forehead.

He was gone. He had no idea what he was supposed to do? He had done so much wrong with her, yet she cared about him. She cared about him and he had fallen for her. She would never love him. She cared for him because she cared about everyone. He had fallen in love, just with her.

That realisation shook him, down to his core.

It was a Saturday.

Not any Saturday, the Republic Day. That day, He had realised the real strength that resided within Kalyani. He had realised that Kalyani was capable of things, no one would even think of doing. He had realised Kalyani could not be the person that had helped Sampada.

On that day, Kalyani had helped him personally and professionally. She had saved his job by figuring out the location of the bomb, and stopping it from exploding. She had hanged from the clock tower, to not let the bomb explode. She had fainted when he had saved her, but he had been damn proud of her that moment. That day, he had boasted to the PM of how Kalyani was his wife. And to Sampada and Atharva also, indirectly.

Which brought him to the second thing she had done for him that day. She had fallen to the feet of Sampada and Atharva, only because she didn't want him to do so. She had put Chandan Ka Haar on Atharva, to embarrass him, even to a small degree. She had consoled him when he had saw how Sampada and Atharva were there, boasting owners of Eknath Industries. f**king Assholes.

She had said, "Malharji, I am sorry, agar mujhe pata hota ki Eknath Industries ke maalik Sampada aur Atharva hai, toh mrin aapko bata deti. Mmm - Malharji?" She had proceeded carefully. But he had been so angry, he was on the verge of losing his job, Sampada was here, and he felt things for Kalyani, even when she was so scared of him. When he had felt her hand on his shoulder, he had turned abruptly and said, "Iss waqt mujhe sirf apne desh ki chinta hai Kalyani. Sampada aur Atharva kya kar rahe, mujhe fark nahi padta. Iss waqt uss bomb se zyada zaruri kuch nahi hai." Realising how he had sound so angry, he had turned immediately and said, "I am sorry Kalyani, bahut kuch ho raha hai, abhi ke liye meri naukri mera farz hai, mrin kissi aur cheez pe dhyaan nahi de sakta." Because it was the truth, he had hus mind diverted to Sampada, but he couldn't, and when Kalyani placed her hand again on his arm, looked at him and nodded at him reassuringly, he found himself focusing back on the problem at hand.

He had no idea, from when one touch from Kalyani could calm his frazzled mind. He had no idea, how one touch from Kalyani could ground him. He had no idea, when Kalyani had become his anchor.

That day he told Maai, he told Maai how he loved Kalyani. Because he had just come to know, Kalyani was unbeatable, it was not possible to not fall in love with her. He had been complaining to Maai, and -

"Pagal hai aapki beti Maai, aisa koi karta hai kya, dusro ki jaan bachane ke liye, koi apni jaan aise jhokim daalta hai kya?" He had said, and Maai, being the way she is, had replied, "Meri beti aisi hi hai Malhar. Par tumhe kaha dikhta hai, tumne toh kasam le rakhi hai, bas zindagi bhar apna gussa uspar nikaalne ki, toh aaj kya hua Malhar, kya badal gaya joh Kalyani ke liye itni fikr, batao Malhar." And he had had this in his heart for so long, that he couldn't hold it back anymore. He had to let it out, so he had said, "Pyaar karta hun mein usse Maai, zindagi bhar ki kasam toh chodiye, apni zindagi se zyaada pyaar ho gaya hai usse. Nahi saha jaata, usse aise dekh, mujhe takleef hoti hai Maai. Pyaar kar baitha hun usse. Usse, jiski meine zindagi barbaad kardi." And Maai had smiled, and patted him on the shoulder, like she had known all along, like she knew something he didn't know, like she knew he hadn't been able to accept it to himself before this moment.

Of course she knew, she was Maai. There were hardly any feelings, that she didn't know of. She had encouraged him to confess these feelings to Kalyani, but he couldn't. He was the one to blame for most if Kalyani's problems. He couldn't, because she couldn't possibly love him. Today had proved that Kalyani cared about everyone and anyone. He possibly couldn't be any special to her.

Today is a Saturday.

Sampada and Atharva had waited a whole week before making an appearance in the Ahilya Nivas. He had been anxious. He hadn't been waiting for them, but he knew they were coming. Because Atharva has always been the kind of person who boasts his victories. And he hadn't known Sampada before, she hadn't turned out to be the perfect woman he thought her to be.

They had taunted people left and right. They had blamed Aausaheb, Raosaheb, everyone basically, for denying their love. They had revealed how they had been planning this from the date the wedding had been finalised. He noticed this point. Because Kalyani hadn't even been in their lives when the wedding had been finalised. But they didn't say anything about involvement of Kalyani in their plan either, and that confused him.

He is in love with the girl, but relationship are built on trust. He had tried the trust thing, it hadn't worked out, but he couldn't help but trust Kalyani. He hadn't believed her then, but he was sure now, Kalyani had no involvement in their plans. He couldn't help but trust her. Would he be wrong again?

Then Sampada opened up about how sorry she was, to ruin Kalyani's life the way she did. It was clear she wasn't, but the look on Kalyani's face was of such betrayal. It was clear that what Kalyani though of the bull shit Sampada was speaking. Utter bull shit.

Sampada had said, "Waise sorry Kalyani, mein jaanti hun ki tumhari shaadi Malhar se sirf meri wajah se hui. I mean, obviously, Malhar ne tumse shaadi apni izzat bachane ke liye ki. Aur pakka tumhe daraaya dhamkaya hoga. Aakhir ek Policewala hai na. Aur kuch kar bhi nahi sakta. Ek baat mujhe abhi bhi nahi samajhti Kalyani, mujhe itna rokne ki koshish kyu ki thi tumne Kalyani? Aur abhi tak tum Malhar ke saath kyu ho? Bhaag kyu nahi gayi?" And in one dialogue Sampada had cleared old doubts and raised new ones in his mind. Why was Kalyani still here?

Before he could say anything, Kalyani was blasting, "Tum nahi samjhogi Sampada. Mere actions sirf unhi ko samaj aate hai jinke pass samajhne ke liye akal ho. Tumhe woh clearly nahi hai, agar tum Atharva se pyaar karti ho, toh clearly, tumhe dimaag ke doctor ki zarurat hai." Bang on description. Kalyani was slaying Sampada, and the face Sampada made revealed how disturbed she was, but Atharva had come to play again, and he was not holding back, "Aisa hai Kalyani, toh batao mujhe, mujhme toh bahut akal hai, aakhir tumhe shaadi ke din tak chupa rakha meine, batao, ke batane ke liye kuch nahi hai. Ke tumhare yaha se chale jaane ki wajah sirf Maai hai, aur tumhara dar hai, ke agar tum bhaag gayi toh Malhar Bhau Maai ke saatg kya karenge, aur agar tum unhe mil gayi, toh woh tumhara kya haal karenge. Par tumhe darne ki koi zarurat nahi hai, Bhau ne jab humare saath kuch nahi kiya, tumhare saath bhi kuch nahi karenge."

Listening to all this had angered Malhar, he moved towards Atharva, but Kalyani beat him to it. She grabbed both collars of Atharva and said, "Tum jaan na chahte ho na ki mein abhi tak yaha iss shaadi ko kyun nibha rahi hun? Iski wajah mera Malharji se dar nahi hai. Iski wajah yeh hai ki, mein unse pyaar karti hun, I LOVE HIM! Aur mujhe rishtey nibhana aata hai, tum jaisi nahi hun, saare rishtey-naate bhul jaao aur bhaag jao. Samjhe tum?" But as she said this, Atharva got this smug expression on his face, and looking at the smugness Kalyani realised what she had said. Her eyes widened. She left Atharva's collar and turned to look at him. She looked at him like she couldn't believe she had said something like this in front of their family, much less him.

She ran away, she literally ran away. She was gone from there. Everyone was watching her, with stunned expressions. It was like watching a tornado destructing and going it's normal course. She had bewildered anyone. Mostly him. He had thought she just acted about him, here she was shouting that she loved him. He thought it would be impossible for her to fall in love with him. She really was a kid, how could she fall in love with him? How could a beauty like her fall in love with a beast like him?

He saw Maai come towards his side of the house. He registered her talking to him, but he wouldn't listen. That had been a shocker. That had been literally the one thing that took away the ground beneath his feet. And instead of facing him, she had run away. She had left him in this hell and left.

Maai shakes him to get him out of his trance. She looks at the way Kalyani went, and signals him to follow her. But he was incredulous, and before he could really come out of the shock he was in, Atharva was speaking, in his bloody smug voice. God, did that guy ever shut up. He said, "Haan Bhau, ab kya karoge? Kalyani ko toh aapse pyaar ho gaya! Par aap toh kabhi usse pyaar kar hi nahi sakte. Yaad nahi aapko, kitni nafrat karte hai aap usse?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows. Malhar knew Atharva was referring to the initial hate Malhar held towards Kalyani. The hate that increased when he further misunderstood Kalyani.

He looked at Atharva and said, "Tum dono pe taras aata hai mujhe. Itna bada aur acha plan banaya, shaadi se bhaagna, Kalyani ko phasana, aur itne kam samay mein itni saari daulat haasil karna. Par tum dono itna bhi nahi jaante, ke nafrat aur pyaar mein zyaada antar nahi hota. Aur jabse meine Kalyani se nafrat ki hai, tabse meine usse pyaar bhi kiya hai. Par tum apni akal mat chalao. Mujhe bas yaha se jaane do." Saying so, he ran in the direction Kalyani went. He didn't notice tge bitter looks of Sampada and Atharva. He needed to see his wife.

When he reached where she was, in the backyard of the house, he saw her talking to herself. He paused, involuntarily, curious as to what she was saying. He listened, "Kya kiya yeh Kalyani, sab ke saamne bol diya. At least pehle Malharji ko bata deti, itna tamasha ban gaya tera. Pata nahi Malharji kya soch rahe honge. God, I hope woh gussa na kare." Then she suddenly turned around and saw him. She stopped talking and looked at him with those widened eyes. He moved towards her and she immediately started talking again, fastly, "Dekhiye Malharji, mujhe aisa nahi bolna chahiye tha, I know and I am sorry. Par Malharji - " but before she could continue, Malhar put a hand on her mouth and shut it. With his other hand he snatched her waist and grabbed her close to him.

She looked up at him with disbelief in her eyes. He lowered his hand and cupped her cheek, his thumb stroking her cheek and his finger spread across from her neck to the back of her ear. He felt her shivering. He asked, in a voice as harsh as whiskey, "Truth or Dare?" She looked up at him questioningly, he asked her again, "Kalyani, Truth or Dare?" She, in a measly tone said, "Truth." He asked her, "Kya andar joh bhi tumne kaha, woh sach tha? Ke tum - " and before he could ask further, she interrupted, "Pura sach, sirf sach. Ab aapki baari, Truth or Dare?" He replied, "Truth.". "Kya aap mujhpe gussa hai?" She asked innocently, " Mein bilkul bhi fussa nahi hun Kalyani, mein toh bahut Khush hun. Aaj mrin iss duniya ka sabse khush insaan hun. Truth or Dare?" She daringly said, " Dare." He looked at her and said, "I dare you Kalyani, I dare you, tum mujhse pucho, ki mein kya feel karta hun." She looked up at him with those adoring eyes and asked him, "Aap kya feel karte hai mere liye Malharji?"

Finally, he could confess what he feels for her. Finally the beast within him could rest at peace. The scratching and the shouting within him had been unbearable. The beast ached to confess to his beauty. He leaned forward and rested his head on her forehead, he looked in her eyes, and saw as they closed gently. He continued to look at his beauty and said, "I Love You Kalyani. Bahut zyaada, iss duniya se zyaada, apne aap se bhi zyaada, I Love You."

The smile that broke on Kalyani's face was magical. Her eyes opened, she looked at him and said, "I Love You Too Malharji!" And he laughed. And looking at him laugh, she laughed too. Such joy, such unimaginable joy he felt, he could conquer the whole world.

It had been Saturday, when he met the beauty.

It had been Saturday, when he became the beast.

It had been Saturday, when the beast has fallen in love.

It is a Saturday, when the beast realises his beauty loves him too.

Saturdays aren't so bad now.
