Hey there all the lovely people.
First thing first- a bus ride is longer than train 😆
Actually it was a light hearted episode. No cranky madness, no drama... just a simple interesting episode. It did hint about the lurking obsession underneath a calm skin... but that didn't over power the whole time.
Uma falls on Kanak, they are almost nose to nose, eye to eye. Their eye lock could have beeen way more amazing, if the hero didn't wear Jet black Lens- I have seeen the post demonic eyes but yaar seriously, the emoting eyes are required for silent scenes. Anyways US asks Kanak if she is alright, she nods grumpily. US makes excuses for why he came to the back, he says they will stop at the next phone booth just as massi had asked. Kanak couldn't control her tongue, and asks why don't they keep a mobile, atleast they can keep one in the house- she has the audacity to add that the mobile phone comes cheap too... behna ka dimag is gone ... the people who weight in gold and wealth, need be reminded that there are cheaper mobiles too - Pagal hai Kanak 😳
US very calmly gives his gyan on the usage of mobile, that it gives harmful radiations which are the cause of many diseases.. maybe he mentioned cancer in Hindi.. it creates attention disorders too.. and children play more on the mobile rather than physical activity, mobile is easier for communication, but it has lessened the enthusiasm of meeting people etc etc --- I am US bhakt I can get off track gyani in a second 😆
Kanak has a self thought that he doesn't seem that uneducated, and she should nod her head in approval before Baba continues his lecture.
Shiv says that now Kanak is also part of the family, she wouldn't keep a mobile too.. Kanak is visibly annoyed as if a kid is denied its favorite thing. US says she won't be completely part of our family unless we get to know more about her/ her family. We got married in an odd way, but her family could have joined us for the pooja. Kanak has her second outburst, as if my family would be very happy to see me married this way. Massi says if she had told them about her family then this pooja wouldn't have been necessary.. she gives reference to Suhagraat saige--- rolling my eyes offf I mean lady why are you sooo interested in US ki suhagraat?? She says pooja is of 3 parts maan, dhan and stops before saying "tan" as she thinks suman is a little kid and doesn't need to know the stuff. But we know it 😆 And the camera focus did the job. Kanak's hanky falls down and then there is touching of fingers chemistry class going on between them... shiv stands up to see them - this naughty kid knows it all. Kanak pulls back her hand and US hands her the hanky --- I think this hand scene was the depiction of the 3rd part of shudhi pooja 'tan'.
They finally reach the hotel- weren't they going to some house that US had built and it was supposed to be beautiful. US helps everyone get down from the bus, except Palomi --- way to go US. No eyes or hands for parayi larki and Palomi has to get down herself. Next comes the new bride, she says she would get down herself, her lehnga gets stuck, she fidgets with and falls in US arms. I mean these two are pulled towards each other like center of gravity.
Palomi gives them looks- and for once we get to see Palomi's mind- she looks at them with angst, hurt and even some kind of criticism. She says that 'tap ussney kiya, Phal kisi aur ko mila' she criticized Kanak that she has what she doesn't value, it's as if she has a valuable necklace, she wears it but doesn't know it's worth. --- it's each to their perception, what Palomi sees as the ultimate goal of life, is nothing for Kanak. Palomi had even self inflicted a wound in the bus, when she saw US and Kanak together.
They enter the rooms , Kanak locates a phone and says now she would call her friend. Massi asks Kanak to call her family, kanak replies no. Suman finds out that the phone is not working and they would have to go to the reception to call. Everybody sits down. US says he is going to meet the pandit and is about to leave.. he says to Kanak ata hoon, Kanak gives lost expressions, which massi very sweetly explains that a wife should say ' mey apka rasta dekhon gi' Kanak has to add her element to it , she holds her palu and says coyly 'app jaldi ana mey apka rasta dekhkon gi' that made me roll off laughing. Shiv says he will go to, he comes to Kanak and repeats mey ata hoon, she replies the same way but laughing and shiv places a kiss on her cheek - did he do that for his brother to follow - my mind is gone case today 😆
Massi asks Palomi to keep US bag in the main room, Kanak has this hilarious self thought "Raja kamre mey and praja bahir "
Palomi takes one bag and is about to move, when massi says why aren't you taking Kanak's bag.. Kanak is now part of US and it's ashub of husband and wife to stay separate. She answers Kanak's inquiring look that US knows his limits.
Kanak thanks Palomi and shuts the door. Massi says to a hurt Palomi, it's bachpana, kanak will get used so will you.
On the other hand Vansh is trying to get into Kanak's head so that he can crack into Bhabho's mind. They all look up to Kanak, as if she is the apple and orange of them. I love how the siblings love each other.
Precap: Kanak is looking at paper and is shocked when massi calls from behind. Massi says her eyes are on her and escape is impossible- probably saying double meaning words but chor ki dari mey tinka, Kanak is worried.
P.S - whenever I look at Ved, I am amazed how much he reminds me of Sooraj in looks and calmness. The casting has been amazing so far.
Apologies for a long long post today. Too much conversation 😉
