ok absolutely random thought.

seen bits of TSMSP. our guy is sporting black contact lenses.
AR is blessed with gorgeous greenish eyes. they were his highlight besides entire package ofcourse. in fact in Madhubala serial they kept zooming on his eyes alone for they were that beautiful.

so why this lenses kolaveri di?
and that too horror movie Omen ka kid used to sport 'all black iris' kind of lenses?

why hire a man with such beautiful shaded eyes and then give him spooky look and take away that major attraction?

i am not sure but i will hazard a guess that his original eyes will be making a comeback considering how mysterious he is. not betting though. my pocket is thin as it is.

The same... this time I am expecting a natural development of human emotions as love and sorrow of this hero, something palpable so that we can relate to. I know the producers of DABH can do it as the show was dear to my heart, but giving the very bad previous experience, I will keep my expectations in check. This is what that show did to me... now I can't trust anything.. I am waiting with much curiosity for your feedback on what you have watched!

@Nimmi, take your time, if is not this show, then there will surely be another! I myself didn't want to follow this story based on some prejudice that I had about the lead actor thinking that he is not such a good performer, but until now I haven't seen any mistakes in his acting, he was always on time with his reactions. For me it was easy to get in touch with his character as I have a personal interest in subjects as alternative medicine and the fact that he is practicing Ayurveda totally reached me. If I find one common background with at least one character, then that's it, I have to find out what will happen to him/her.

There was a whole debate about the eyes of
AR here on the forum. I said that with his natural blue/green eyes, he would have looked as a supermodel and not so much as a man of God and they just didn't want to break this stereotype and shock the audience. I prefer him both ways, but your theory that he hides his natural color, sounds good.

i really have to catch up with the episodes then. yeah prejudices and pre-notions are dangerous. i love the way you wrote about your reason for joining this journey. bestest wishes old friend. may this journey be beautiful.

yeah AR would look like supermodel with his unique eyes but thing is.. with his chiseled abs and bod he still looks like a dish. and who says lookers can't be bhakts?
he is an eye candy and the way makers are zooming on his assets by unwrapping him (even in the promo right in the beginning he was shirtless) with almost lascivious pleasure bade gaurse and pyar se.. objectifying man of God! paap chadega! tauba tauba.
so i am curious to know why would they want to tone down his unique cat-eyed looks. i really hope there is a back story behind it.
would love to see some mystery here. but then again all my theories and wishes were shot down spectacularly in our old land.
will be great to be proven right for once😆.

edit: and if the makers really want to make US look like err less than what he should they should hire costume designers from our old land. they are pros in making even the most good looking ones look eh, bleh and meh.
