The actor regularly consults his astrologer Pandit Suvashitraj on matters of the heart, and acting on his instructions the 37-year-old actor has just gifted Kareena a chunky diamond ring. Interestingly, Suvashitraj had advised Saif on making Kareena wear a diamond ring in an attempt to bring stability and happiness to their relationship. Suvashitraj says, "Saif first consulted me about Kareena when he had just started shooting for Tashan. He gave me details of her birth and only after having done Kareena's kundali, did I ask him to go ahead with the relationship." He further adds, "I adviced him to give her a ring embedded with a diamond and ruby, as I feel it will bring the desired stability and emotional happiness to the relationship." Soon after, Saif swung into action and got a light blue diamond-studded ring from his mother's Delhi-based jeweler. Suvashitraj informs, "Saif gave the ring to Kareena about ten days back. I cannot reveal the price of the ring, but it is very expensive." By all accounts the diamond ring already seems to be having its desired impact on the couple. News has it that the actor's mother, Sharmila Tagore, has already blessed the couple. Kareena's concern and care for her beau's children Sara and Ebrahim has not gone unnoticed. Also, the actress' family, that was sceptical of the relationship in the beginning, seems to be coming around. They have actually approved Kareena's relationship with Saif. "Sharmilaji is very happy with the relationship and has already blessed the couple. Kareena's family had some objection initially but now they have also approved of Saif," elaborates Suvashtiraj. Saif and Kareena indeed have a rock-solid relationship, and marriage is definitely on the cards. Suvashtiraj adds, "Kareena and Saif are extremely serious about each other. Saif had introduced me to Kareena and they both are keen on settling down." Saif, when contacted, says, "Yes, I have consulted him on many matters in the past but they are highly confidential. This article lacks alot of clarity and is quite inconsistent.

If the astrolger said that Kareena should wear a diamond and ruby ring, then why do they later say that she is wearing a light blue diamond? When in fact she is actually wearing a normal clear diamond engagment ring.

Another thing, people who wear diamonds for astrological benefits are told to wear it on their right hand middle finger! And she's wearing it on her engagement finger!

The only rings Kareena is wearing for astrological benfits are both on her right hand.....a pukhraj (yellow sapphire) and a pearl.
