hey i'm back! ok first of all, i'd like to thank all of you for ur comments and being patient 😃 i've had quite a hard time at school coz we're doing coursework like 24/7 i hardly had time ot update 😕
its still a bit tight, but i've managed to write an update...

yup mesmerised, this ff is comming to an end, lol all good things come to an end 😳 😆

i hope this part is allright considering i rushed it and i had no inspiration what so ever due to a certain Garilla who is ruining AM😡 and Adi 😡 that stupid duffer! for romancing with her 😡 and Maithili the even bigger duffer 😡 for telling him to do so! 😡

any way, enough of my ramblings, here's the next part...enjoy! 😃

Chapter 51

Maithili smirked while Adi frowned.

A: I don't see what you're so happy about! He asked her as they boarded their plane

Maithili just laughed in reply: kam se kam tumhare paas toh nahi baithna padega!

A: aur agar koi lattu tumhare pass ho toh?

As soon as Adi spoke that, he laughed out as loudly as possibly…

M: kya hua? Aise kyu has rahe ho?

Adi pointed at seat G10 and Maithili turned to face it

She gasped upon what she saw "Prithvi…" she whispered out of shock

A man clad in black attire turned round

"maithili…tum yaha? Aur adi…" Prithvi spoke with surprise at first, then with ignorance in his voice.

Adi tired to stop his laughter while Maithili looked annoyed.

She slung her arm into adi's

M: uh adi…where do we sit?

A: Maithili! You sit near Prithvi and I'll sit on the other side

Maithili frowned at him and looked wearily at a smirking prithvi

P: I guess I'm cought in the middle!

Maithili and Adi sat on either side of Prithvi and pretty soon, Maithili fell asleep.

Adi glanced over to see her head lightly leaning on Prithvi's shoulder. He glared at prithvi who had his eyes fixed on to Maithili.

A: uh excuse me! Adi called an airhostess

"yes sir, how may I help you?"

"well, you see, my wife and me are not sitting together, due to…'this' guy sitting in between us!"

The airhostess looked towards Prithvi and maithili

"ok sir, we will try to convince Mr. Kapoor to exchange seats with you or your wife.

Prithvi immediately stood up, "look, I hate sitting in isle seats, so I'm willing to swap with Maithili and not adi!

Adi glared at Prithvi… you profusely ardent swine! I know exactly what your intentions are!

A: ok, fair enough! Adi spoke with a cold tinge threatening Pithvi.

Maithili and Prithvi swapped places and she mouthed to adi, a simple thankyou.

He smiled all the more. She put on her headsets and started watching a film, while he stared at her all the while. Noticing him stare at her, she turned her head towards him

M: kya hua? You're not watching a film?

A: nah…he spoke stretching his arms and placing one round her…Prithvi rolled his eyes upon their supposed affection.

A: I've seen all of them anyways, I'm just listening to music and seeing something even more beautiful than any of the actresses in the film.

She blushed unknowingly and with uncertainity, rested her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes feeling his head gently rest upon hers and within a second all her qualms faded away.

The airhostess smiled at the couple and gently touched maithili

"maam, would you like some lunch?" maithili nodded and turned to adi to wake him up.

M: adi, tumhe luch chahiye?

Adi woke up and the both of them had lunch. A strange sence of satisfaction yet an urge for more lingered between the two. They didn't know what had happened in the past two months that changed the way they viewed each other, but whatever it was, it was for the better.

The other hours in the flight passed away by adi whispering sweet nothings into maithili's ear and entwining his fingers in her own.

M: adi! She muttered, stop it!

A: what? Is it a crime to flirt with my own wife?

He grinned at her and glanced at prithvi's face

"I wish I never agreed to swap places" Prithvi muttered and smiled sarcastically at Adi.

Prithvi opened his mouth to talk to maihtili, but adi, as always intervened.

A: maitili, tum, I mean hum…hotel mein ja kar kya karenge?

M: adi I just want to rest for today! I'm just too exhausted and it'll be evening by the time we reach there anyway!

Maithili turned towards Prithvi… "you were saying…?"

P: actually, which hotel are you two staying in?

M: in…

A: rehne do na maithili!

Adi spoke with a strange feeling of jealousy in his gut

A: why do we have to tell him?

Maithili smirked seeing a jealous adi

She tactfully placed a hand on Prithvi's hand

M: Prithvi, don't mind Adi, he's just a bit…you know,

A: what? I'm what..?

M: adi you're getting jealous for no reason!

Maihtili grinned as she saw the confound look upon adi's face

A: no I'm not!

M: see prithvi! He's getting jealous!

Maithili tried her hardest not to laugh while adi sulked in his seat.

P: he has his tantrums! Prithvi resigned grinning at Adi

P: I'm staying at the Palm Hotel, what about you?

M: me too! What's your room number prithvi?

A; yes yes, tell him what room we're staying in, tell him when you wake up in the morning, tell him the time we will be going down for breakfast, tell him when we plan to go sight seeing, tell him…

M: ok ok! Its just our room number adi!

He smiled sarcastically and turned away continuing to sulk.

The flight landed and Adi walked ahead leaving maithili to roll her eyes and power walk to catch up with him.

M: kya kar rahe ho?

A: stay with prithvi na! Why are you following me!

Adi got in the cab awaiting the both of them, and maithili got in beside him

M: adi stop behaving like a child!

A: oh so now I'm a child!

M: yes! A very stubborn, stupid child! But a very cute one…She spoke smiling at him.

A: don't try to flatter me! Because its not going to work!

The cab arrived at the hotel and both adi and maihtili got down with their bags and went inside. Once in their rooms, maithili closed the door and sighed

M: adi, don't you think you're over reacting?

A: over reacting!!! Hell no! you were openly flirting with him!

M: adi come on! You can't call that flirting!

A: you were holding his hand!

M: well so!!

A: I wasn't staring at the hot airhostesses was I! My eyes were glued onto you!

M: I didn't tell you to not look at them!

A: oh, so if I looked at them you wouldn't mind!

M: never!

A: sure maithili, sure!

Adi left the room and maitihli sighed

"this is sooo not going well!"
