I dedicate this SS to my dearest friend Salley who wants me to write a SS taking inspiration from the movie 'Kalank' where she wants Ibadat and Subhan to represent Varun Dhawan's and Alia's roles and Ghazal-Haider to play Madhuri-Sanjay Dutt from the movie.

After the meeting,the business man Atharv went back home.There a beautiful woman received him with showering flowers on him.

"Happy wedding anniversary my dear husband".

He smiled.

Atharv:Happy wedding anniversary my sweet wife Mannat.

She smiled.

Atharv and Mannat cut the cake and fed it to each other.

Suddenly Atharv felt an uneasiness and stopped dancing.

Mannat:What happened Atharv?

Atharv thought:These days I feel tired always.I should not tell it to Mannat now.She will be upset.

Atharv:Nothing Mannat.I feel hungry.Let's have food.

Mannat:Okay.

Atharv did a medical test in the hospital.

The doctor told him:Mr.Atharv,sorry to say that you have cancer.

Atharv was shattered.

Mannat was sleeping on the bed.Atharv was lying next to her.He was feeling disturbed.

He thought:How will I tell Mannat that I am a cancer patient?She won't be able to bear it.

Slowly Mannat opened her eyes and looked at him.

Mannat:Atharv,you did'nt sleep yet?

Atharv was silent.They both sat on the bed.

Mannat:Are you alright?

Atharv:Mannat,what will you do if I die?

Mannat was stunned by his question.

Mannat:What nonsense are you asking?You are not going to die.Why this stupid question now?

Atharv said painfully:I am going to die Mannat.I have cancer.

Mannat was shattered.Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Mannat:No,I won't believe it.

Atharv:You have to accept the truth Mannat.I am not going to survive for a long time.

Mannat:No.We will get you treated and you will be cured.

Atharv:Expect the worst and don't keep any hope Mannat.

Mannat burst into tears and embraced him.They both cried a lot.

Atharv's parents Haider and Dua were shattered after knowing about Atharv's illness.

Haider:I will throw money to treat you.Nothing will happen to you.

Dua:I won't let you leave us like that.You will live long beta.

Atharv hugged them crying.They all were in tears.

Atharv met a man.He was Atharv's college mate Subhan.

Subhan:Atharv,what important matter you want to discuss with me?

Atharv:Will you marry my wife Mannat?

Subhan was shocked.

Subhan:Do you even know what you are saying?How can I marry your wife?

Atharv:I am suffering from cancer.I don't think I will live for long.I don't want my wife Mannat to be alone after my death.I know you since a long time.You are a nice person and you can keep Mannat happy.Please don't say 'no'.

Surprising that Atharv and Mannat are married. Does Atharv have any illness? So u reversed roles here too? Atharv is Sonakshi and Mannat is Aditya? Subhan:Atharv,what important matter you want to discuss with me?

Atharv:Will you marry my wife Mannat?

Subhan was shocked.

Subhan:Do you even know what you are saying?How can I marry your wife?

Atharv:I am suffering from cancer.I don't think I will live for long.I don't want my wife Mannat to be alone after my death.I know you since a long time.You are a nice person and you can keep Mannat happy.Please don't say 'no'.

Subhan:Sorry Atharv.I cannot imagine marrying someone else's wife.I cannot marry Mannat.

Atharv became upset.

Atharv:Don't forget that my father Haider has helped you financially very much on my request.Did you forget everything easily?When you were in need,I helped you.When I am i need,you cannot help me?

Subhan's heart got pricked.

Atharv:You could not finish your education as you wished.You have a sister to get married off.If you agree to marry Mannat,I promise that I will fulfill all your wishes.

Subhan became emotional.

Subhan's mother Kaynaat was overhearing it.

Kaynaat called him:Subhan,please come inside.

Subhan went inside.

Subhan:Ji Ammi...

Kaynaat:Atharv has promised that he will help you to study further and make our family secure.Then why don't you agree to marry his wife?

Subhan was shocked.

Subhan:You are saying like this Ammi?

Kaynaat:Yes.Because I am fed up of suffering...fed up of this poor life style.

Don't you want your sister to have a proper life?If you really care for us,don't be selfish and agree to marry his wife.

Subhan felt very upset.

Subhan went near Atharv.

Subhan:Yes,I will marry Mannat.

Atharv became happy.

Mannat:Yes Atharv.Will I ever say 'no' to you?

Atharv smiled.

Atharv:After my death,you should marry my friend Subhan.When I am alive you should get engaged to Subhan.

Mannat was shocked.

Mannat:What are you saying Atharv?I can't do that.I cannot marry anyone else.

Atharv:You promised me that you will obey me.If you don't obey me,I won't be able to live or die peacefully.If you really love me,please obey me.

Mannat started weeping.

Mannat held his hand.

Mannat:Okay.For your happiness,I will do whatever you say.

Atharv smiled emotionally.

Subhan and Mannat got engaged by exchanging rings.

Mannat looked at Atharv.

Atharv smiled tearfully.Mannat was trying hard not to cry.

To their shock Atharv started dancing with other dancers to celebrate the occasion.Mannat,Haider and Dua were depressed seeing him dance hiding all his pain.Subhan was numb.

Subhan looked at Kaynaat in shock.

Subhan asked her in a low voice:Ammi,what did you say now?

Kaynaat whispered:I have always wished to stay in a big mansion like this.It's a dream come true.If you love your mother don't object it.

Subhan:I will stay here with my family.

Atharv smiled.

Dua and Haider were very upset.

Dua:I can't understand how Atharv can share his wife with someone else.

Haider:That is love Dua.He is trying to make Mannat's life secure.

Subhan and family shifted to Atharv's house.

Mannat went near Subhan.

Subhan:Even I want to tell you something.

Mannat:I agreed to marry you only for Atharv.I can never accept you as my husband.I can only love Atharv till my last breath.

Subhan:I also wanted to tell you the same.I owe your husband and father in law.That's why I agreed to marry you.I can never see you as my life partner.

Mannat was relieved.

Subhan was listening to the music from his room.

Subhan agreeing to marry Mannat on Kainaat and Atharv's insistence really did remind me of the movie, this was an emotional scene both here and the movie. Even Mannat agreed, that's sad. Poor Mannat and Atharv. Kaynaat is really greedy just like in serial. Both clearing things to each other was nice. Here Ibadat isn't Ghazal's daughter? Perfect pics, waiting for next.
