Mannat gave food and medicines to Atharv.

Atharv:Mannat,did you enquire whether Subhan ate food or not?

Mannat stared at him.

Atharv:Now he is your responsibility.You should look after him.

Mannat:Please Atharv.You told me to get engaged to him.I agreed.You told me to marry him.I agreed.But please don't expect anything else from me.

Atharv became upset.

Mannat:Right now my priority is only your health.I want you to take your treatment properly.

Atharv asked her emotionally:Is there any use of taking treatment?

Mannat looked at him emotionally:Why can't you believe in yourself Atharv?You will be cured after treatment.The doctor had said that it's curable.I assure you.

Atharv:Doctors always give false hope to their patients.

Mannat made Atharv eat food and medicine.

Subhan joined the college for post graduation like he wished.

Atharv:After completing PG,you can join my office as well.After my death,you should take over our business.

Subhan became dull.

Subhan:I have one more wish.I want to learn music from Ghazalji.She sings nice ghazals.

Atharv was stunned.

Subhan:Please don't reject my request.

Atharv was silent.

Atharv told Haider and Dua about Subhan's request to learn music from Ghazal.

He walked away.While walking he bumped into Ibadat.Ibadat tripped and before she fell,Subhan caught her.They got lost in each other's eyes.

They both came back to senses and moved away from each other.

Subhan:I am sorry.

Ibadat:It's okay.Thank you for saving me.

Subhan:Are you Ghazalji's student?

Ibadat:Yes.I am Ibadat.

Subhan:I am her new student Subhan.

Ibadat smiled.

Subhan:Ok..bye...see you tomorrow.

She just smiled.He walked out.

The next day....

When Subhan entered Ghazal's house,he heard Ibadat singing.He was lost in her sweet voice.

Subhan started taking music classes from Ghazal.

After the class,Subhan told Ibadat:You are singing very well.You are gifted with golden voice.

Ibadat smiled

Ibadat:Thank you.You are also singing well.

Subhan smiled.

Ghazal was walking on the road.A man was waiting for her on the road side.

She was stunned to see him.He went near her.

He:Ghazal!

Ghazal:How long will you wait for me Darsh?

Darsh:Till the end of my life.

She felt a prick in her heart.

Ghazal:You are wasting your life Darsh.You will never get a positive response from me.

Darsh:I have faith in my love.Nobody can deny true love for a long time.I love you truly and one day you will understand it.

Ghazal became upset.

Ghazal:Why don't you understand that I don't deserve you?You know my past.Then why are you loving me?

Darsh:You did many mistakes in your past.But those were a teenager's or a young girl's blunders.But now you are mature and beautiful inside also like Ghazal music.So I did not do anything wrong by loving you.

Ghazal became emotional:Darsh!Please leave me alone.

Darsh:If my presence hurts you,I will not come after you.Because I want you to be always happy.

He walked away painfully.Ghazal kept looking at him with sadness.

Days passed...

Subhan's mind was full of Ibadat.He did not know why.But he was going to the music class to see Ibadat.He was feeling an unknown happiness while watching Ibadat silently.

Subhan was ironing a shirt thinking of Ibadat.Since he was absent minded he put the iron box on his own finger and felt the burning sensation.

Subhan:Ah!

Mannat who passed by saw it.

Mannat:Come and sit here.I will bring the first aid box for you.

Subhan sat on the chair.Mannat brought the first aid box and put the ointment on his finger.

Subhan:I know that you don't care for me and you are doing this only to please your husband.You are free to call off our engagement.I have no problem.

Mannat walked away silently.

Ibadat noticed that Subhan was always gazing at her.

After the class Ibadat went near Subhan.

Ibadat:Subhan,I noticed that these days you are always trying to get closer to me.What is your intention?Is it to trap me for physical pleasure?

Subhan got irritated.

Subhan:What do you mean Ibadat?How could you ask me just a cheap question?It is true that I feel comfortable with you,so I spend more time with you.That does'nt mean that I want to bed you.I am already engaged.I am going to get married.

Subhan removed his black overcoat and threw it in anger.Ibadat got startled.

Her tears rolled down cheeks.

Ibadat:Till now all men have come after me for that only.

Subhan:Ibadat!

Ibadat was weeping.

Ibadat:Since I am an orphan nobody is there to question them.Not even my mother has accepted me as her daughter.

Subhan felt upset.

Subhan:I am sorry.

Ibadat:No,I am sorry for thinking that you are also like other men.

Subhan:Don't be sorry.When you had bad experience it's normal to feel that all men are same.But trust me.I am not like them.

They shared an emotional eye lock.

Subhan and Ibadat came out of Ghazal's house after the music class.Suddenly Ibadat saw a kid crossing the road without knowing that a lorry was coming that way.She ran towards the child and lifted it up.Subhan realized that the lorry may hit Ibadat.He ran towards them and pushed both of them to a side.

The kid:Thank you aunty and uncle.

Ibadat:Be careful while crossing the road.Okay?

She patted the kid's cheek and the kid walked away.

Subhan:Are you alright Ibadat?

Before she could say anything,he embraced her emotionally.She was stunned.

Subhan:I got scared whether I will lose a friend like you.You are my only relief in this world Ibadat.

Hearing his words she became very emotional.

Ibadat broke their embrace and said:I am alright Subhan.

Subhan:Why did you risk your own life?You are not bothered about your life.

Ibadat:I am the daughter of an unmarried woman who abandoned me in the orphanage.I have no surname.Being an illigitimate, I don't care about my wife.I tried to save a life.That's enough for me.

Subhan:Whether you are illegitimate or not,your life is precious.It's gifted by God.So take care of yourself.

Ibadat looked at him emotionally:For whom should I live?

Subhan asked her tearfully:Am I not your friend?Can't you live for me?

They shared an emotional eye lock.

Ibadat:For the first time I felt that somebody cares for me.So I will definitely take care of myself.

They smiled at each other emotionally.

Slowly slowly Subhan and Ibadat became close to each other.

Subhan sent a friend's request to Ibadat.Ibadat saw Subhan's friend's request for her on instagram.She smiled and accepted it.

At the musical concert,Subhan's eyes were on Ibadat who was listening to the singer sing ghazal.Subhan imagined dancing romantically with Ibadat.

Ghazal was observing the growing closeness between Subhan and Ibadat.
