Part 3 :

The next day, Vidhi wakes up with a grumpy mood and is still upset with Jai for abandoning her. She thinks about how Dev came as a saviour just in time. She recalls his words and thinks to not to go to shady places even if called by Jai. Seema comes there running.

Seema : Didi.. mujhe na ek book khareedna hai.. aapke paas 200 rupayi hai kya?

Vidhi : Haan Seema, woh mere bag mein hai.. tum le lo

Seema starts searching Vidhi's bag for money and suddenly screams. Vidhi rushes to her.

Vidhi : Seema.. kya hua tum aisi kyun chillayi ho

Seema looks at Vidhi in shock and hands over her something, she found in her bag. Vidhi looks at it and gets the shock of her life. It is a big diamond ring, presumably that of a man. 

Seema : Didi yeh yeh aapke paas kaise aaya hai

Vidhi : Mere paas.. pata nahin Seema yeh mere paas kaise aaya hai

Then she stresses her mind and remembers Dev helping her set up the things fallen from her bag. She concludes that probably Dev's ring might have slipped into her bag.

Vidhi : Hey maa milapini..yeh kya ho gaya hai.. uss aadmi ka ring mere paas aagaya

Seema : Kaunsa aadmi didi

Vidhi : Accha sun..tu ghabraana nahin. Main tujhe kucch bataati hoon

Vidhi narrates her previous day's ordeal and how Dev helped her out of the situation.

Seema : Kahaan tha na maine yeh Jai aapko ek na ek din le dobaayega.. aur hayi yeh Dev Raichand kitna accha hai woh kya kehte aapke "knight in shining armour" banke aaya hai

Vidhi : Shh aisi mat bol.. main pyaar karti hoon Jai se.. use kucch urgent kaam aaya hoga aur main bhi thoda late kar rahi thi to shayad chalaa gaya

Seema : Usne aapko phone karke poocha aap kaisi ho, wapas ghar pahunche bhi ki nahin

Vidhi mumbles a no. Seema starts to lecture again, but Vidhi stops her

Vidhi : Yeh chodo Seema, pehle iss ring ka kya kare.. dekhne se to bahut mehenga lag rahaa hai

Seema : Mehenga nahin didi.. bas chalees lakh ka hai

Vidhi drops the ring in a reflex and Seema catches it immediately.

Vidhi : Cha cha chaalees lakh.. tumhe kaise pata hai

Seema : Ek hafte pehle maine tauji ke paas yeh ring ka photo dekha hai.. yeh na jis aadmi ka hai usko yeh loose ho rahaa tha aur usne size karane ke liye tauji ke shop mein hi bhijwaaya.. par woh nikamma owner ka beta hai na usko iss par kaam karna tha.. tauji to keh rahe the ki usne sahise fit nahi kiya.. to sahi baat hai dekho utar gaya na

Vidhi : Hey ma milapini.. mujhe to chakkar aaraha hai

Seema : Kyun.. yeh Dev Raichand ne aapka vrat sahi se khola nahin kya

Vidhi glares at her while she laughs out loud.

Vidhi : Pehle yeh batao iss ka kya kare ab

Seema : Tauji ke paas jaayenge aur aapke size ka bana lenge.. phir aap roz unke yaad mein yeh pehenlena

Vidhi : Kya.. kya bakwaas karti ho

Seema : Aur nahin to kya didi.. hame jald se jald iss ring ko lautaana hai.. agar us Dev Raichand ne aapke oopar police ka complaint de diya to.. usko to raat bhar neend hi nahin aayi hogi yeh ring ko gayab dekhkar

Vidhi : Nahin nahin.. usne police mein complaint kiya to mera aur Jai ka rishta baahar aajayega

Seema : Phir to aisa hi hone dijiye na.. waise bhi tum donon darpok log ghar mein bataa nahin rahe ho.. isi bahaane aapka pyaar baahar aajayega aur

Vidhi : Aur papa ko dil ka daura padega.. aise sunenge to

Seema : Nahin nahin

Vidhi : Ek kaam karti hoon, main hi iske office jaakar ring lauta doongi

Seema : Par aap akeli jaaoge

Vidhi : Haan, usne mujhe card diya tha

Seema : Uffo to baat yahaan tak aagayi... ( Vidhi glares at her again ) Theek hai, sambhalke jaana aur tension mat lo, usko pehchaanoge na 

Vidhi : Haan do baar dekha na, pehchanloongi

Seema : Do baar.. kya kab??

Vidhi : Shh..abhi nahin baad mein bataati hoon

Vidhi gets ready quickly and has her breakfast and heads off to Dev's office. Vidhi is flabbergasted by the tall towers and the corporate outlook of the people around. She nervously steps in to the office and looks around. She finds herself in a simple salwaar suit completely out of place amongst the others in formal wears. 

Vidhi : Kaash main bhi apne padai poori karpaati aur MBA ke baad aise hi kisi office mein kaam karti.. par 

  Vidhi comes back from her drifting thoughts as she notices a board with names of the office members with floors of their rooms. She carefully searches for Dev's name and immediately finds it and reads 7th floor accross his name.

Vidhi : Baapre yeh aadmi saatva number floor par hai.. ise milna itna aasani to nahin hoga. Dekhti hoon, pehle uss floor par jaaongi

  Vidhi looks for the way up and finds the lift. She gets into it and presses the number 7. The door is about to close when a man stops it by his foot. Vidhi looks up nervously and to her happiness it is Dev himself. He is too engrossed in a call to notice her, he presses the number 7 again and turns towards the door. Vidhi thanks Milapini maa inwardly as her burden to find him has reduced. She waits for him to get off the call.

Dev : Haan commissioner saab, nahin.. woh kal ko.. haan

Vidhi ( mind voice ) : Hey ma milapini yeh to mere naam ka police complaint de rahaa hai

Dev : I think aap tees logon ko bhejiye kaafi hoga

Vidhi ( MV ) : Tees police log aayenge mere ghar.. aur mere haaton mein hathkadi daal kar le jaayenge... poora mohalle mein hamari naak kat jaayegi..hame mohalle se nikaal diya jaayega... papa ko to pakka heart attack hojayega.. aur Urmila chachi unko bhi heart attack ho jaayega khushi se

Dev : Yeah yeah Minister saab se meri baat ho gayi hai

Vidhi ( MV ) : Minister.. isne to minister ko bhi complaint kar diya.. ab to yeh log hame Indore se hi nikaal denge

Dev : I am depending on you.. mujhe yeh kaam me koi kami nahin chahiye.. kal poora shehar mein yehin news hoga.. posters lagenge..

Vidhi hearing this has now completely lost her cool and starts bawling out. Dev is stumped by the sudden noise and looks around and to his utter shock realises he was not alone in the elevator all along. Seeing Vidhi weeping, he gets off his phone and approaches her.

Dev : Tum.. tum ro kyun rahin ho aur  yahaan kya kar rahin ho.. ??

Vidhi : Aapki wajah se ro rahin hoon aur kya.. aap poore sheher mein mere posters lagaa rahe hai "chorni" bolkar..  aur news mein bhi deraheho... aur mujhe shehar se bhagaa rahe ho.. aur jail bhi bhej rahe ho.. to roungi hi naa

Dev : What? Tum paagal ho.. oh oh.. isliye akeli woh sunsaan jagah par pahunch gayi ho..  aur ab yahaan aakar kuch bhi badbadaa rahi ho.... tumhe schizophrenia hai kya.. woh bacche tumhare saath safe nahin hai.. I have to complain..

Vidhi on hearing " complain " starts crying even louder. Dev tries to shush her but she doesn't listen. He moves forward swiftly and closes her mouth with his hand. He looks into her eyes and gets mesmerised and has a sense of serenity. 

Dev : Kya hua.. kyon baar baar ro rahin ho? Kisine kucch kahaan?

Vidhi tries to answer in muffled voice.

Dev : Kyaa?

She points to his hand over her mouth and Dev realises his mistake and slowly lets go of her.

Vidhi : Aapki wajah se ro rahi hoon.. aap mera poster banakar

Dev : Chupp.. phir se wahin bakwaas... main tumhara poster kyun banaoonga.. tum koi heroine ho kyaa

Vidhi : Jhoot mat boliye.. maine sab sunliya..aap commissioner se aur minister se mere baare mein complain kar rahe the aur news...

Dev : Shhh.. main tumhare baare mein baat nahin kar rahatha.. kal mere office mein ek bada event hai jahaan par minister aane wala hai.. uski tayariya karrahaa hoon

Vidhi : Oh.. ooohh, to mere baare mein nahin tha.. mere poster nahin lagenge

Dev : Phir se poster.. itna hi poster ka shauk hai to lagaa doonga main 

Vidhi : Nahin

Dev : Lekin tum yahaan kya kar rahin ho aur yeh complain, poster tumhare baarein mein hoga.. yeh kyun soch liya

Vidhi : Woh mujhe lagaa aapka ring galti se mere paas hai..to shayad aapko laga hoga ki maine chori ki hai.. lekin milapini maa ki kasam haa.. woh ring galti se hi meri bag mein aaya hai.. isi liye main lautane aayi hoon

Dev : Ring.. kaunsa ring?

Vidhi : Huh.. aapka chalees lakh ka ring

Saying so, she holds his hand and shows him. He just notices that his ring is missing. She takes the ring from a little potli in her bag and gives it back to him.

Dev : Oh maine to notice hi nahin kiya

Vidhi : Paagal ho kya.. kal se chalees lakh ka ring kho gaya hai aur aapne abhi tak notice bhi nahin kiya

Dev : Hey tumhe kaise pata hai.. yeh chalees lakh ka hai.. sunaar ho kya 

Vidhi : Nahin.. sunaar ki beti hoon..

Dev notices the pride in her voice and smiles 

Vidhi : Yeh ring ko size karne ke liye aapne diya na.. woh 

Dev puts on the ring and checks that it is still loose

Dev : Woh tumhare papa hai.. maine to suna ki woh bahut accha kaam karte hai.. par ye to

Vidhi : par ye to mere papa ne nahin par unke owner ke bete ne kiya.. aur woh to ek number ka kaamchor hai.. aap iss baar mere papa se hi karaana.. Hariprasad sharma naam hai unka

Dev nods his head like a school kid infront of his teacher. The lift stops at the seventh floor and both of them step out at once and bang into each other. The ring slips off again from his hand on to the ground. Vidhi notices this and picks it up. She looks here and there and finally pulls a thread out of her dupatta, while Dev looks on confused. She ties the thread around the ring and puts it on his finger by herself. She checks that the size is now perfectly adjusted and seems pleased with herself. Dev is also amused now. 

Vidhi : Hmm jab tak acche se size nahin karaalo.. yeh baandhke rakhna

Dev looks at her happily.

Dev : Nice

Vidhi : Suniye..  dhyaan rakhna.. baar baar check karte rahiye.. chalees lakh ka hai

Dev : Jee madam

Vidhi smiles and presses the elevator button. Dev waits for the lift. As she enters she gets confused about so many buttons and Dev helps her press the right one. They bid their goodbyes and Dev walks away with a little smile on his lips looking at the ring.

All this does not go unnoticed by two people, his friend like brother Abhimanyu.. and his brother like friend Yogesh. 

Abhi :  Kya tumne bhi wahin dekha jo maine dekha

Yogesh : Bilkul.. kahin yeh wohi to nahin

Abhi : Yeh wahin hogi

They look at each other and scream at once  "BHABHI "
