Here's introducing our hero, given there can be different members who might pop in and watch his shows later...
Danish Taimoor is a Pakistani actor and model. Born and brought up in a Muslim Sindhi family in Karachi, Danish had always shown signs of entering the Entertainment Industry at a young age. As a child, he loved playing cricket and was known for mimicking various public figures in his friends circle. Danish also has a Masters degree in Business Management from the University of Karachi. Danish started his career working as a model and eventually moved to acting, debuting in the show Mystery Series, in the episode “Do saal baad, Dracula”. He continued to appear on the small screen in shows like Chemistry, Manchalay, Perfume Chowk, Kash Main Teri Beti Naa Hoti, Meri Behen Maya and Mujhe Apna Bana Lo.
He experimented in different roles with shows like Raju Rocket, Ghayal and Sannata. Danish’s surge in popularity saw him starring in Saari Bhool Humari Thi, Aik Pal and Jab We Wed and various telefilms like Piano Girl and Teri Meri Love Story.
2015 turned out to be the turning point in Danish’s career. He began working in films, debuting in the action-thriller Jalaibee and the commercial massy success Wrong No. Danish received the ARY Film Award for Best Star Debut Male for Jailaibee and a nomination for Best Actor for Wrong No. While continuing films in the Lollywood revival phase, he appeared on the Diva Magazine cover for the same cause with names like Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Mehwish Hayat.
Soon, he moved on to do bigger projects in the Telly World like Shert, while continuing to do films like Mehrunissa V Lub U (the music was distributed by Indian label T-Series) and Wujood.
Danish proved his versatility in 2018, by starring in shows Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai, Haara Dil and Rubaru Tha Ishq. The stark difference in his portrayal of the villainous and corrupt Jaan-e-Alam, the boy-next-door Arham and the helpless romantic Almeer proved that he was not just a pretty face, but a seriously brilliant performer!
His stardom sky-rocketed when he took up the role of magnetic and wealthy Sultan Durrani in the drama Deewangi. The show broke many records and had the audience rooting for Sultan and loving Danish’s flawless performance. He took it a notch higher appearing in the clichéd drama Meharposh along with his wife Ayeza Khan; their popularity fetching the show huge numbers despite the negatively received storyline.
As of 2021 after a long excruciating wait for us fans, Danish starred in Ishq Hai as Shahzaib Sadat and the show turned out to be the much needed hit for ARY Digital. Imagine turning a regular love story into something so popular…there’s only one person who can do it and that’s Danish Taimoor!
Danish’s next project is also with ARY Digital and produced by iDream Entertainment, tentatively titled as Ishq-e-Junoon. Actress Dur-e-Fishan Saleem will be seen playing his love interest. And other than his work in fiction, Danish also hosts BOL Network’s Game Show Aisey Chalega which airs every Saturday to Monday.
On his personal front, Danish tied the the knot with his long time girlfriend and fellow actor, Ayeza Khan in 2014. It is said there was so much buzz around the wedding for pictures and updates, which was a surprise given it was the pre-social media boost era! The power couple of the Pakistani Entertainment Industry have been blessed with two children: the adorable and angelic Hoorain Taimoor (born 2015) and the delightful and princely Mohammad Rayan Taimoor (born 2017).
