Rewind and Review - Episode 5 - Page 4

In today’s episode both Aastha and Anokhi receive awards from Shaurya. Shaurya was little shocked to see Aastha but hid his emotions really well. And Aastha trying to talk to Shaurya..... Did she really think that her son will not be angry with her?

Shaurya forced to talk by Anokhi. He gives a speech which is an indirect taunt to Aastha. But I did feel bad for him. He suffered for no mistake of his. Yes childhood does lay the foundation for a person's life. But it is not only the mother's responsibility. Shaan is equally responsible. He was with Shaurya but never did a duty of a father.Both Aastha and Shaan have failed as parents.

Aastha's speech was also good. Shaurya needs to understand that a girl with a career can be a pillar for her family if she receives support from her family members.

Even Kanchan had the same question. Why Shaurya is asking Shagun to choose between career and marriage. Gayathri tells her about Aastha and why she had to leave the Saberwals. But Aastha leaving back Shaurya and not trying to contact him even after he grew up is not correct. Did she really think that Shaurya was leading a happy life with the Saberwals.

Gayathri beven in the intial episodes was a women who had just succumbed to her circumstances but I had hoped that in the future episodes she would have become stronger and become more vocal towards the atrocities committed to women in that house but that did not happen .I just hope if season 2 comes then I really want to see a strong and stern Gayathri Sabarwal.

Haven’t watched it yet as I woke up late after watching lots and lots is Shakhi scenes and vms yesterday night…nie I don’t have my ipad.. will watch it tonight and post..

This show trully holds some special parallels .In this episode when shaurya hands anokhi the trophy and in the wedding episode when shaurya hands anokhi the pen .I think both these moments are very special.

What surprise me is the pace of the show… it always feels that so many things happen in just one episode… and the makers maintained it till end.

It’s because they don’t show a thousand reaction shots or waste time on closeups and dramatics!! I’m so glad they maintained that too.

Yes it is almost like watching a web series. If we miss one episode we miss something important.

Episode 5:Shaurya's black clothes represents his cold and tough demenour with his gaurds always up.The white shirt represents his heart which is pure and filled with love.Anokhi dashes into his life with her mark of love ......only later to fill his life with colours.

Episode starts with the dance perfornance of Anokhi and team.(Hulle hulare is a punjabi private song by Rageshwari sachdev who is sister of Alka mam).I dont know much punjabi language but the song is all about girl describing her sasural.....i guess.Correct me if Iam wrong.

Anokhi dancing merrily and Shaurya enjoying it thoroughly.As soon as he saw Anokhi on stage there was a change in his expression.He actually forgot the foul mood of his.He found the performance to be fantastic...

Shaurya surprised to see his mother after 25 years but had a stoic expression on his face.

Aastha still lost seeing her child after so many years in flesh and blood.She is elated to recieve award through her son's hands.There were tears in her eyes and she could only shower lover on her son by staring at him and not even blinking her eyes.

Shaurya's gestures while giving award and for clicking pic without words shows how he is trying to maintain facade of not getting affected.She congratulates him on his engagement and he is surprised to know the connection between his dad and her.She complements him that he is just like his dad and hoped he might understand her perspective.She moved close to him for a pic but he moved away snd she understood he is angry.

In flashback Shaurya and Aastha playing blowing bubbles, three of them happy in their world and everything vanished away like the bubble..

Shaurya gives trophy to Anokhi.He looks at her remembers her speech maintaining a plastic smile..mentally rubbishing her thoughts again.

Anokhi requests him to speak few words but he wants to run away from there.He takes a dig at his mother.Aastha hurt,Anokhi puzzled and hexwalks away.Anokhi proudly dedicates the award to her mentor Aastha mam and she was touched by her proud protege's gesture.Aastha too tries to put her point as if she is trying to justify her absence in her son's life.

Flashback:Chotu Shaurya was too cute.Aastha s brother expired leaving behind old and diseased parents.She is forced to leave her son and husband when she wanted aid her parents.Shaan timid sabherwal did not support his wife.Devi insensitive Sabherwal being a woman did not understand her.Tej heartless sabherwal separates mother and son from each other.

Shaan failed to be a supportive husband and father.Aastha failed to be a mother.Shaurya indebted to TejVi .

Aastha tries to talk to her son and he does not want to talk to her.
