I agree that his anger is justified. But he also should have questioned beyond what his BM told him about why she left. Having said that, I was not impressed with the way Aastha approached him today. Expecting him to understand her, without giving him any reasons to do so!

This is one of my favorite episodes! It has all my favorite people and issues. Babli and Rama trying to figure out what to do about a missing Anokhi. Gayatri and Kanchan discussing Sabherwal past. Shaan wallowing in his despair while Aastha absorbing in her present. There’s discussion of a woman’s role in a changing society. Aastha and Shaurya having a first meet after 25 years. And ShaKhi not realizing what a monumental meeting they’ve had!

I’m a sucker for Shakhi content! From him watching her dance to handing her the trophy to her trying to decipher Shaurya’s speech to him watching her close relationship with his absent mother. Shaurya’s speech was a pointed dig at his mother while Aastha’s speech felt like a retort to her son’s speech. Speaking to each other in code!

Some side points: Even when Shaurya objected and tried to walk away, Anokhi forced him into a speech. Not the last time she will doing that to you Mr.Sabherwal!! Also, Shaurya finally has some emotions that reach his eyes. His controlled mask is slipping!!

Precap: Aastha/Shaurya confrontation!!!

Thoughts?

I’m holding full judgement until the full scene occurs.

He did judge his mother based on his reality. She left him and never contacted him or his father. That’s his truth right now. That’s not based on anything Devi said/did, it’s just what Shaurya experienced. Whatever the reasons, nothing will ever justify the pain an abandoned child feels.

This episode is for the women and from the women.

Each woman on the show is playing a part here and making the best out of their situation from their pov.Again so many complexities. The helplessness (Bhalla women) and the courage (anokhi and aastha). The complacency (saberwal women)

There is an entire world around Anokhi that she is unaware of. Anokhi forcing Shaurya to speak, hahhahaha...she always forces him to speak. We will see it so many times. Anokhi asking Astha to come up..and speak..this girl I tell you.

Aastha-Shaurya...both are extremely good at masking their emotions. Equally intelligent, smart and with full command over their words. No wonder Shaan could carry on for so many years, Shaurya is a copy of aastha in so many ways. It's very evident. But a mother is a month, the masks slowly break and resentment seeps in with words. While devi could never understand shaurya , aastha did understand his mindset in one speech. Wow!

Shakhi interactions are 🔥🔥. The chemistry is evident right now. I am quite glad that he treated her like a stranger and kind of insulted her. Otherwise the vibe would become creepy. Again, anokhi has no idea what impact her words have brought in
