The chemistry was visible from this episode only🔥 when he was watching her dancing and smiling… their first touch with 🏆 😌

My take on today's episode:

Shaurya:

Looking in askance at Anokhi when the latter is dancing, As if saying, Oh here she is the girl who tainted my shirt 😲

The shock he had when he heard his mother was there. He is definitely a master at hiding his emotion. I felt sorry for him especially when Anokhi mentioned the support and guidance she received from Asthaa, when he should have had it as the son.

By the way, why did he remove his hand when giving the trophy to Anokhi? Is it because he does not like this 'pindu' girl or did he feel an electric shock, 😉?

Now for Anokhi, she was looking so cute and innocent as a college girl, enjoying her student life. To think the background she is from, she has the courage to pursue at the expense of getting beaten up later.

Imagine the heartbeats of all these young girls when they checked who the chief guest was and this lovely handsome hunk walks up the stage. They were all starry eyed. But then the dream was shattered to pieces when Shaurya gave his speech about the family being the most important. Maybe Ankhi was expecting a congratulatory remark and encouragement but instead THIS! She looked so disappointed in him.

Now for Asthaa, She could not stop fulfilling all her yearning for her son. I am happy she indirectly gave back to Shaurya about a woman having the capacity to be the homemaker and having a career.

By the way, where does the men of the house come into a family. Often, men take credit for the success of their children, but how can they do that if they believe, especially the Sabherwals, if they do nothing in terms of family life? Quite a contradiction here.

Asthaa expecting her son to be mature and understand the situation from another perspective is funny. She knows the Sabherwal men, She knows what type pf woman BM is, and she expects her son, whom she has not seen for 25 years to understand her? Is she expecting the Sabherwal to have brought up Shaurya differently?

It is good to see that Gaytri did not immediately agree with BM when the latter was talking about having a career. If we have a season two, it would be nice to have both Kanchan and Gaytri speading their wings..

Now for Shaan, He has no spine. He looks like the proverbial rich boy, who fell in love, has a very dominant elder brother on wjom he can count, and cannot be bothered with responsibility or accountability.

When a serious matter of Asthaa taking up her job to support her parents, he was playing with Shaurya like, there is no problem on the horizxon.

Asthaa was definitely very disappointed in him. he did not give her any support.😡

This show trully holds some special parallels .In this episode when shaurya hands anokhi the trophy and in the wedding episode when shaurya hands anokhi the pen .I think both these moments are very special.

Except that today, he also had a shock when he first had physical contact with Anokhi!!😃

What surprise me is the pace of the show… it always feels that so many things happen in just one episode… and the makers maintained it till end.

Yes, so many events in todays episode, incredible how they can pack so many in twenty minutes, and still the flow is so good. The thing is watching SAAKK is equivalent to watching a movie, there is not an overdramatisation of any emotional scenes.

Now think what Shaurya must be feeling,when he hears someone praising his absentee mother for all the love and support, which he was denied.

Defintely Shaan is depected as spineless, not having an opinion of his own, and not showing any support to his wife when she most needed it.

Now come to Shagun broken engagement, when he was trying to convince Shaurya to support her. Is he repenting his act 25 back? His 25 years of whisky drinking at least made him reflect, but then why did he never try to bring back Astha?

This episode is for the women and from the women.

Each woman on the show is playing a part here and making the best out of their situation from their pov.Again so many complexities. The helplessness (Bhalla women) and the courage (anokhi and aastha). The complacency (saberwal women)

There is an entire world around Anokhi that she is unaware of. Anokhi forcing Shaurya to speak, hahhahaha...she always forces him to speak. We will see it so many times. Anokhi asking Astha to come up..and speak..this girl I tell you.

Aastha-Shaurya...both are extremely good at masking their emotions. Equally intelligent, smart and with full command over their words. No wonder Shaan could carry on for so many years, Shaurya is a copy of aastha in so many ways. It's very evident. But a mother is a month, the masks slowly break and resentment seeps in with words. While devi could never understand shaurya , aastha did understand his mindset in one speech. Wow!

Shakhi interactions are 🔥🔥. The chemistry is evident right now. I am quite glad that he treated her like a stranger and kind of insulted her. Otherwise the vibe would become creepy. Again, anokhi has no idea what impact her words have brought in

@bold: I like this description. The Bhalla women have really been suppressed by the men in their lives through physical and verbal abuse. It's so sad to see how scared they are of the repercussion of Anokhi's actions.

The Sabherwal women have given into the misogynistic men in their family. They're more fearful of status and reputation loss.

And to see how Aastha took on the patriarchy and won in society's eyes and lost in her son's eyes. Currently Anokhi is taking on the patriarchy!

I love seeing all the women who are contributing and fighting society's regressive standards.

In today’s episode both Aastha and Anokhi receive awards from Shaurya. Shaurya was little shocked to see Aastha but hid his emotions really well. And Aastha trying to talk to Shaurya..... Did she really think that her son will not be angry with her?

Shaurya forced to talk by Anokhi. He gives a speech which is an indirect taunt to Aastha. But I did feel bad for him. He suffered for no mistake of his. Yes childhood does lay the foundation for a person's life. But it is not only the mother's responsibility. Shaan is equally responsible. He was with Shaurya but never did a duty of a father.Both Aastha and Shaan have failed as parents.

Aastha's speech was also good. Shaurya needs to understand that a girl with a career can be a pillar for her family if she receives support from her family members.

Even Kanchan had the same question. Why Shaurya is asking Shagun to choose between career and marriage. Gayathri tells her about Aastha and why she had to leave the Saberwals. But Aastha leaving back Shaurya and not trying to contact him even after he grew up is not correct. Did she really think that Shaurya was leading a happy life with the Saberwals.

Shaurya lives his life wearing a mask. So from the outside it must look like he has a charmed life. Born into a rich family....educated.......surrounded by family.....and now a professor at his own institution.....looks like a great set up. Outsiders are not going to see all the emotional scars, only the successes the Sabherwals choose to show!
