God, how many biopics will Ranbir Kapoor do? He already did Sanju, was in talks for Kishore Kumar biopic, and now there's this one.

Looks like Kaka has become the go-to guy for all of Bollywood's biopics.

At least copy the South Indian movies na. Look at the kind of variety they are coming up with. Now they have started making movies for Pan India because they understood their demand. If this continues, the so called BW stars and the industry will become obsolete!

some bollywood stars are sticking to this tried and tested formula but there is some good original stories too

but i would love to see ranbir in a sports film

his line up includes a sci-fic psychological thriller period drama romcom and now this so its pretty good for him

ranbir has not done a single remake

plus his upcoming movies include sci-fic romcom psychological thriller period drama and now this that s pretty good line up

It’s because they can’t see past their own nose. All they care about is the here and now instead of the long term. They saw Salman surviving the last decade off crap remakes so the only whole industry started copying it.
They saw the worst movies can be passed off with desh bhakti because people like frothing at the mouth. The audience is to be blamed too because they keep rewarding trash so that’s what they get. Nobody even remembers these movies two weeks after releasing.

The south industries also make lots of crap but at least once in a while, they come up with something good. I can’t even recall 5 good movies in the last decade. OTT has made things even worse than before. OTT movies are like what straight-to-DVD movies used to be. It’s just a dumping ground for small b-grade films.
