Aww. This was lovely!! Loved how they spent the day with each other, again with the intent to work on this relationship and compromise/adjust to the other's preference.

And they finally had a chance to communicate. Shiva understood why it was important for her to know and Raavi began to trust him and was going to make peace with not knowing what happened. Trust is building, respect seems to be on the way, and live won't be far away. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Part 3

Shiva was sitting in their room doing nothing when he felt hungry. He talked to himself ‘Bhabhi pata nahi kaha reh gayi ab tak. Aaj Bhabhi ko kahunga ki Noodles bana de bahut man kar raha hai’

Raavi heard that from the door but pretended she didn’t. ‘Bhuk lag rahi hai mujhe toh.’ she said. 

Shiva spoke ‘Ae chipkali kahi tu mera sar khane toh nahi ayi na? Kahi Soch rahi ho bhuk mita legi apni’

Raavi spoke with a sarcastic smile ‘Ha ha ha kitna funny joke mara tune. Tere sar mein kuch hona bhi chahiye ki meri bhuk mite.’

Shiva rolled his eyes on her statement ‘Vaise phir kuch banane ja rahi hai?’ He spoke like a kid. 

Raavi smiled at his antics and hid the smile ‘Tu chahta hai main kuch banau?’

Shiva spoke ‘Main kyu chahunga. Bhuk tujhe lagi hai na? Toh bana jo banana, hai.’

Raavi spoke ‘Ha toh banaungi hi lekin apne liye. Tere liye nahi’ and she left the room.

‘Ha toh main bhi mara nahi ja raha. Huh.’ He said to her retreating back. ‘Yahi agar dhara bhabhi hoti toh mujhse puchti mere liye kuch banati par yeh chipkali..’ he spoke when she left to which His mind countered ‘Lekin tu ise Dhara bhabhi se compare kaise kar sakta hai. Kaha bhabhi or kaha yeh gadhedi.’

Rats were jumping in his stomach, his stomach started to growl but his ego didn’t allow him to ask Raavi to cook something for him.

After around half an hour he went to the living area waiting for Dhara bhabhi. He had to admit that the fragrance of food was making him more hungry.

Hunger was making him grumpy. He sat on the sofa sulking. He felt someone sitting with him and saw that someone holding a plate in front of his face. 

The delicious fragrance compelled him to look up and saw a plate full of noodles, his face lightened up seeing his favourite Noodles. He was about to take the plate but then stopped.

It took half an hour for Raavi to cook noodles, she already asked Dhara bhabhi and cooked for all of them.

She was about to go to their room but saw Shiva sitting on the sofa in the living area. He was looking very cute, head hung down, lips formed in a pout. She felt like pulling his cheeks. But then her mind snapped at her thoughts ‘Shiva tujhe cute lag raha hai Raavi. Chup kar. Huh.’

She sat with him and extended her one hand with Noodles plate in front of his face. As soon as he saw the plate his face lightened up. Head held high, the lips formed a smile, he was about to hold the plate but stopped.

‘Kya hai’ he spoke, showing fake anger. 

‘Noodles hai. Maine socha tere liye bhi bana du.’ Raavi spoke casually

He replied like a kid ‘Par tune toh kaha tha mere liye nahi banaegi.’

 Raavi spoke ‘Ha par maine bana di. Mana teri Dhara bhabhi jaisi nahi hu main par Raavi toh hu hi. Janti hu tujhe bhuk lagi hai. Chal ab khale.’

Shiva was surprised she heard everything. ‘Yeh tune mere liye banayi hai?’

Raavi said rolling her eyes ‘Nahi padosio ke liye banai hai. Ab khaega ya nahi?’

Shiva took the plate and started eating, Raavi looked at him with expectant eyes.

Shiva felt her eyes on him, looked at her and spoke ‘Achi bani hai. Tera bhi noodles khane ka man tha kya?’ he asked, eyeing her. 

Raavi replied avoiding his eye contact ‘ Umm. ha man tha toh.. Bas..’

Shiva would have believed her but the way she stole the gaze he got suspicious so played a trick ‘PAta hai Chipkali bachpan mein na jab mera kuch man hota tha na khane ka toh main aise bolta tha ki bhabhi sunle or bana de. Aaj bhi maine vohi kia. PAr bhabhi thi ni paas mein mujhe toh laga koi ni sunega. Tune toh bina sune hi bana dia.’

Raavi heard what he said and blurted 'yeh bhi thik hai. Bhabhi na sahi main hi sahi.’

Shiva smirked and spoke ‘Acha..’

Raavi face palmed and closed her eyes as she was caught ‘MEra matlab hai...kii.’ She tried to form a lie.

‘Jhoot kyu bola tune?’ Shiva interrupted her.

‘Bhabhi nahi thi toh tune mujhe kyu nahi kaha haq se kuch banane ko?’ she spoke hurt visible in her voice and eyes.

Shiva was surprised. He wanted to believe that it was not hurt but failed as the expressions were of hurt, and by walking away she proved that but he caught her wrist ‘Tujhe bura laga?’ he asked. 

Raavi spoke avoiding him ‘Mujhe kyu bura lagega. Tu bol chahe na bol.’

Shiva was enjoying this side of her ‘Vohi toh main sochu. Tujhe kyu bura lagega? Ab sochne vali baat hai Rishita bhi rishte mein bhabhi ban gayi hai toh usse thodi kahunga khana dene ko. Kahunga toh Dhara Bhabhi ko hi na.’

‘Rishita ko nahi keh sakta par mujhe toh keh sakta hai na. Ki Raavi bhukh lagi hai kuch banade khane ko.’ She turned her face after blurting this.

A beautiful smile formed on his face after she said that. He asked her ‘Bol sakta hu kya tujhe age se apne kam ke liye?’

Raavi was boiling with anger ‘Tu pagal vagal hai kya? Mujhe nahi bolega toh kisko bolega Shiva?’

Shiva smiled at her anger and spoke ‘Acha chal aage se bol dunga. Abhi kha toh le noodles.’

Raavi spoke still angry ‘mujhe nahi khani tu hi kha.’ 

He didn't know what made him do so but he wrapped some on the fork and brought it near her mouth, he saw her turning her angry face and then melting those expressions in a smile. The way she looked at him made the butterflies fluttered in his stomach. She opened her mouth and ate the noodles.

The moment was broken when someone cleared their throat they looked back startled and saw Gaumbi, Dhara and Krish grinning like idiots.

Raavi spoke a bit embarrassed on getting caught ‘Dhara di, Gaumbi, Krish aao maine noodles banai hai.’ 

Krish spoke teasing ‘Main toh tabhi khaunga jab Shiva apne hathon se khilaega’ Gaumbi-Dhara laughed whereas Raavi and Shiva looked eachother with widened eyes.

Raavi spoke avoiding the embarrassment ‘Main dalke lati hu sabke liye.’  and went from there

 Dhara spoke ‘Main bhi help karke ati hu uski.’

Raavi was smiling and pouring the noodles in plates. ‘Acha laga Raavi tum dono ko aise dekhkar’ Dhara spoke. 

Raavi smiled at her and just spoke ‘Koshish kar rahe hai di is rishto ko ek mauka dene ki. Or yeh sab sirf apki or Gaumbi ki vajah se.’

Dhara cupped her face and kissed her forehead. Their moment was interrupted when they heard Krish shouting for Noodles from outside.

They walked out with plates.

They were eating noodles chit chatting when Rishita and Dev came.

Raavi asked chirpily ‘Rishita-Dev tumhare liye dal du Noodles?’

Rishita spoke ‘eww. Ghar pe chinese ka kya matlab? Hum toh bahar se khake aye hai. Bahut tasty tha.’

Raavi’s face fell hearing that but she hid that with a smile.

Everyone noticed this and Shiva spoke ‘Raavi itne tasty noodles maine zindagi mein kabhi nahi khaye sachi. Kyu Krish?’

Krish spoke supporting ‘Baat toh sahi keh raha hai bhai tu. Raavi bhabhi kya noodles hai. Love you for this’

Rishita felt humiliated hearing that while Raavi gave her brightest smile to Shiva and Krish.

Shiva gave a warm smile to her. Dhara and Gaumbi smiled at ShiVi’s changing equation.

Dev spoke ‘MAin bhi khaunga.’ Rishita felt really bad this time.

Raavi was about to go and bring some for him when Shiva spoke ‘Rehne de na Dev. Dhara bhabhi ne nahi banai jo zabardasti hai ki khani hai. Raavi ne banai hai. Raavi mujhe or dede thodi’ he said, turning to Raavi. Raavi obliged. 

But before she could go to the kitchen Dev spoke ‘KEhna kya chahta hai tu? Dekh bhai Mere or Raavi ke beetch kuch bhi nahi hai’

Shiva laughed sarcastically ‘Yeh bat tu duniya mein kisi ko bhi bata par mujhe nahi. Aai samajh? Jo bakwas tune sochni thi soch hi chuka hai toh ab mere explain karne ka koi matlab nahi hai.’

Dev started to speak ‘Tu..’ Dhara stopped ‘chup ho jao dono.’

Shiva got up and started walking but Raavi stopped ‘Shiva kaha ja raha hai? Kha ke toh ja pura.’ 

‘Mar gayi bhuk meri.’ without turning he said that and left. Raavi spoke ‘Dhara di main ati hu abhi.’

Dhara smiled and said ‘Ha thik hai’. Dev too left angry followed by Rishita.

Shiva was standing on the terrace all angry.

Raavi came and spoke ‘Oye bhootnath khana kyu adhoora chod ke aaya?’

Shiva spoke ‘MEra man nahi hai abhi. Ja yaha se.’

Raavi replied ‘Ek baar gayi toh mud ke nahi aungi. Bol ab. Jau?’

Shiva kept quiet. Raavi smiled and spoke calmly ‘Kyu itna gussa kia tune?’

Shiva replied ‘Mujhe nahi pata. Or tujhe kya zarurat thi uske liye lene jane ki?’

Raavi replied ‘Shiva ab bachpan vale dost nahi reh gaye. Dev ab Jeth hai mera rishte mein Shiva toh us naate mujhe apni duties toh nibhani hongi na?’

Shiva knew there was nothing in Raavi’s heart but hearing ‘JEth’ from her mouth felt nice to him ‘Phir bhi uski biwi ko bolne ki bilkul akal nahi hai. Or Dev use kuch nahi kehta.’ he cribbed like a kid

Raavi spoke, feeding him one bite ‘Toh kya tu is vajah se har waqt bezti karega apne bhai ki? Yeh toh galat hai na Shiva? Jo ho gaya vo ho gaya Shiva.’ Shiva listened to her intently. Raavi continued feeding him another bite.

Pata hai Shiva Gussa na jalte hue Koile (charcoal) jaisa hota hai agar hum kisi or par faikenge na toh usse pehle hume use pakadna hoga jisse hamara hath bhi toh jalega’

Shiva was amazed at the maturity of this girl. He didn't know that she is this mature.

‘Tujhe gussa nahi ata usne jo kia?’ Shiva asked genuinely eating one more bite from her hand, He loved the fact how in between she was feeding him as well.

Raavi spoke ‘hai nahi tha. Ab nahi ata gussa us par. Dekh Shiva Dev ne jo bhi kia vo uski marzi thi par agar zindagi bhar main usse nafrat karti rahi na toh chize kabhi nahi sudhrengi na tere mere beetch, na tere uske beetch. MAin har waqt gusse mein rahungi kosti rahungi khud ko or shayad phir zindagi khatam karne ki sochu. Hearing this Shiva shot a deathly glare at her to which she spoke ‘Nahi kar rahi kuch. Sirf baat bol rahi hu’ he nodded.

Or pata hai Shiva yeh ghar Dhara di ne bahut pyar se sameta hai, meri in sab baton ki vajah se  tut jayega jo main kabhi nahi chahungi.’

Shiva spoke lost in the moment ‘tu bahut pyari hai Raavi.’

Raavi was stunned hearing that ‘Acha?’ she teased him. Shiva spoke almost ordering ‘Zada ud mat. Noodles khila.’

Raavi fed him, rolling her eyes at him. Krish too came and spoke ‘Mujhe bhi khila de na Raavi.’

Shiva spoke ‘Bhabhi bol.’ Krish spoke ‘Ha Raavi bhabhi please.’ Raavi chuckled at their bickering.

Shiva narrowed his eyes at him ‘Tere paas khud ke haath nahi hai kya?’

KRish asked ‘Tere paas bhi toh hai phir bhi kha raha hai na?’

Shiva started to say ‘tu na chup kar.’ only to be cut by Raavi ‘LAdo mat dono. Dono ko khila rahi hu.’

Raavi fed Krish too.

A Pair who witnessed the whole scene was so happy. Gautam spoke ‘Dhara ab lagta hai ki inki shaadi karvake kuch galat nahi kia.’

Dhara replied smiling ‘Sach mein Gaumbi. Dekh na Raavi bahu toh acha hai hi, aaj biwi hone ka bhi pura farz nibhaya or bhabhi hone ka bhi’

Gautam spoke ‘Chal ab chale hum. Inko karne de masti apni.’ to which Dhara obliged.

The trio were having a good time chatting.

Krish spoke ‘Raavi tujhe yaad hai jab bachpan mein tujhe bhut ka keh kar daraya tha. Tu kitna dari thi.’

He laughed remembering childhood days and failed to notice fear in her eyes. But Shiva noticed that.

Raavi replied ‘tu janta nahi hai us raat ke baad main kayi ratein so nahi payi.’

Krish laughed and made fun of her. 

But Shiva didn’t like fear in her eyes. He knew KRish was joking but he couldn’t see her like this.

And more importantly he felt someone’s presence there but ignored it for the time

.

‘Krish chup karja please. Vaise hi raat ho rahi hai.’ Raavi pleaded.

Krish spoke still teasing ‘MAine toh suna hai aatma yaha bhatakti hai’ and laughed.

Raavi almost shivered on that thought and this boiled Shiva’s blood ‘Krish’ he shouted.

KRish and Raavi got startled. ‘Dikh raha hai na vo dar rahi hai? Zaruri hai phir or bolna?’

Krish then noticed the fear and appologized ‘Sorry Raavi bhabhi’ Raavi spoke plastering a faded smile ‘Koi baat nahi Krish.’

Shiva spoke ‘Ja Krish. Soja ab. Or tu bhi chal Raavi.’ both nodded.

Raavi was moving very close to Shiva as she was very scared, Shiva sensed that so didn’t mind the closeness.

‘Chal soja ab.’ Shiva spoke, reaching their room.

Raavi replied still scared ‘Ha soti hu. Tu soja’

Shiva sensed the fear in her voice and body language; he switched off the lights and lied on his side. Raavi was sitting on her side, as soon as she closed her eyes she got scared so she just sat there.

Shiva spoke ‘Soja chipkali. Raat bhar baithegi kya aise?’

Raavi didn’t say anything, Shiva spoke ‘Raavi kyu dar rahi hai tu itna? Hu toh sahi main yaha, kuch nahi hota yeh bhut vagera. Or tu khud toh kehti hai ki main Bhoothnath hu toh mere hote or koi bhoot aa sakta hai kya?’ he heard her chuckle. A smile crept on his face also ‘Chal soja’

Raavi spoke to just assure him ‘Ha thik hai.’

It was almost half an hour since Raavi tried to sleep but she couldn’t, the phone beeped and she received a message.

-Raavi mujhse chat par aake mil jaldi. Bahut zaruri baat karni hai- 

She was tense and got up to leave. Shiva asked in half sleep ‘Kaha ja rahi hai?’

Raavi spoke ‘Tu soja. Rishita ka message aaya hai milke ati hu. Shayad kuch urgent hai’

Shiva got alarmed hearing her name and before he could say anything further she left for terrace ‘YEh gadhedi bhi na. Sochti nahi sunti nahi. Bas chal deti hai. Khud ko dar lagta hai lekin nahi chalti bani’ he sighed, switched on the lights and went after her.

Raavi reached the terrace and called for Rishita. She got No reply. Instead she heard some scary voices, she got really scared hearing them. She turned to go back but saw a girl with opened hair walking towards her.

Raavi for a second got numb, as the girl took steps towards her she walked backwards. She wanted to scream but voice didn’t come. Tears started falling down her eyes. She fell down and closed her eyes in fear.

Shiva came running and saw Raavi sitting on the floor and crying. He straight away went to her and hugged her. At first she got scared but Shiva said ‘Main hu’

Raavi heard the voice and hugged him back way too tightly. ‘Shi.. Shiva.. saaya hai yaha pe. Maine khud dekha.’ her breathing was heavy.

Shiva got scared seeing her in that condition he stroked her back and tried to calm her down ‘Kuch nahi hai Raavi yaha. Main hu yaha. Chal tu yaha se’

She spoke panting for air ‘NA.. nahi. Tha koi.’ and she fainted. Shiva’s heart skipped a beat. He lifted her in his arms and took her to the room. On his way he called Dhara bhabhi and Gaumbi.

He placed her on their bed and rubbed her hands, she in her unconscious state kept mumbling ‘Koi bachao. Vo mujhe mar dalegi.’ ‘Shiva koi hai’

Dhara spoke seeing her in that state ‘Kya hua ise Shiva?’

Shiva told her everything with anger. How they were talking on the terrace about ghosts and how he saw Rishita there and then Raavi getting Rishita’s message and running to talk to her.

Dhara and Gaumbi were hell angry this behaviour is not accepted, they called Rishita-Dev.

As soon as Rishita came to the room Shiva got up in anger and marched towards her ‘Kya dushmani hai teri Raavi se? Kyu kiya tune uske saath aisa?’ Dhara and Dev tried to calm him but he didn’t listen to anyone.

Rishita too got scared seeing him so angry but still lied ‘Maine kya kiya?’ to which Shiva replied ‘Zada shani mat ban tu. agar ise kuch ho jata toh?’

Dev intervened ‘Hua kya hai? Kyu suna raha hai itna tu?’

‘Puch apni is bigdail biwi se. Kyu isne Raavi ko itni raat ko chat pe bulaya or phir use daraya.’ Shiva roared.

Dev asked ‘Rishita tumne yeh sab kia?’ Rishita replied ‘Nahi baby. Mujhe nahi pata kya bol raha hai yeh shiva.’

Shiva was about to say something when he heard Raavi’s voice. She woke up with a jolt.

Shiva forgot Rishita and sat in front of Raavi, Raavi hugged him tightly and cried badly.

‘Chup hoja Raavi. Kuch nahi tha upar’ Shiva spoke calmly caressing her hair.

She spoke like a baby ‘Tha Shiva. Maine dekha tha. Ek chudail thi’

Rishita got angry hearing that but controlled. 

Dhara and Gaumbi saw them and thought of leaving them alone. ‘Shiva dhyan rakh tu iska. Kal baat karte hai’

Shiva still in the hug just nodded. They dragged Dev-Rishita out too.

Krish who came late thought it was because of him so he knelt down in front of them and spoke ‘Raavi bhabhi I am really sorry mera intention apko itna darane ka nahi tha.’ Raavi broke the hug and cupped his face ‘Tu kyu sorry bol raha hai. Thik hu main’

Shiva smiled seeing them, he too caressed his hair and asked him to go and sleep, Krish went from there. Shiva closed the door and came near her.

‘JAb tujhe mana kar raha tha kyu gayi upar?’ Shiva scolded her.

Raavi looked at him with puppy eyes. Shiva calmed down and spoke ‘Sun Raavi main tujhe kisi ke khilaaf na bhadka raha hu na tujhe keh raha hu ki tu nafrat kar kisi se lekin duniya itni bholi or achi nahi hai jitni tu hai’

Raavi looked at him with surprised eyes. ‘Aise mat dekh mujhe. Jab hum teeno chat pe khade batein kar rahe the tab maine Rishita ko dekha tha or uski shakal se pata chal raha tha ki kuch gadbad karegi. Or jab tujhe message aya toh main sure ho gaya, isse pehle main kuch kehta tu bhag gayi.’

Raavi was shocked ‘Yeh sab Rishita ne kiya tha? Lekin kis baat ka badla lia usne?’

Shiva spoke cupping her face ‘Vo sab tu chod de mujh par. Bas ek baat yaad rakh. Shiva ki biwi hai tu aise logo se darne ki zarurat nahi hai tujhe’.

She felt so nice when he said that and the moment his hand touched her face she felt safe. ‘Tu mujhe chodega nahi na Shiva kabhi?’ she asked like a kid.

Shiva found that really cute but teased her ‘option hai kya mere paas?’

Raavi hit his shoulder and spoke ‘Tu kitna bura hai’

‘Nahi chodunga.’ he spoke assuring her. ‘Or ab so ja’ he said. She nodded.

He again switched off the lights and lied on his side, she too lied on her side. But still she was scared.

She spoke in a whisper ‘Aaj raat main tujhe hug karke so jau please?’ she was not sure what she said was right or not but she needed to feel safe and surprisingly his touch made her feel safe.

Shiva didn’t say anything rather than opened his arm and just pulled her on him, She was happy. She kept her head on his heart area and listened to his heartbeats which was beating fast.

The moment he wrapped his arm around her, her heart too started beating fast but she was comfortable in his embrace.

Both fell asleep in each other's arms with a smile on their faces.
