Neetu was a great actress but gave up her career after marriage. It's good she's coming back. Does anyone know why she didn't work while Rishi was alive? Did Rishi stopped her from working even after the kids grew up?

It was her choice. She had been working from a very young age. She had a very ambitious mother. She was glad to leave it all behind and have a normal life. She probably started acting again as a way to deal with her grief and loneliness since Rishi is gone. For all of their difficulties, he was her pillar from her teenage years.

She did return in recent years though with rishi kapoor. Tbh had she returned earlier like 15 years ago the producer's/directors would have focused on giving her maaji type roles when she looks far too young for that.
