Also another one is probably being made called Taj based on the book by T. N. Murari ( another excellent book on Shah Jehan's reign)

There was a serial on Noorjehan na. Milind soman played salim and Gauri pradhan was noorjehan. It used to come on Doordarshan every thursday. Me n my siblings used tojust wait for thursdays since we didnt have cable and that was the only thing we could watch on tv😆

The girl is Ashnoor Kaur. She played Kunal's daughter in Na Bole Tum and they had the most adorable relationship ever. If I wasn't off daily soaps, I would have given this a try. Anyone interested can watch this one. Looks decent enough 😆

As I have read both, I am quite eagerly waiting for it - the first one I think is being made for Hotstar ( not sure though) and the second one is being made by Farhan Akhtar's production house- so have some hopes for the two 😊 - let's see whether they live upto it or not.

Meanwhile bear with butchering of history - Shaheer playing Salim being the only reason for me to watch this show - hope they do not go overboard trying to gain trps.

Yes it's about the war of succession between Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. The movie is called Takht. The premise is interesting- but since it's KJo, better not have much expectations with regard to authenticity- it may turn out to be Mughal themed K3G 😕 - who knows 😆
