Sherlyn fiasco had got over. Karan & Preeta had unmasked both Prithvi & Sherlyn. Both Preeta & Rishab's Engagement had broken. Rishab never loved Sherlyn and was more upset over the thought that if he would have been able to convey his feelings to Preeta at right time story would have been different.
He was immersed in thoughts of Preeta. He liked the way she cared for everyone, her smile, her simplicity. She had everything he wanted in a life partner but then there was something that wasn't allowing him to pour out his thoughts or express his love to her. But, he had decided himself that after returning home today he will talk to Rakhi about his feelings. He couldn't afford to give that special place in his life once more to anyone other than Preeta.
Finally, immersed in his thoughts he reached for his business meeting at a Hotel. He parked his car and went inside. His table was reserved and manager guided him. He sat there waiting for his delegates when he was surprised to see her there. Infact he wasn't able to recognize her. Was it his Preeta? She was wearing a long beautiful gown and looked gorgeous he had never seen her in this attire and her smile complimented her. But, question was what was she doing at this high end hotel and why had she dressed up so beautifully! He saw a guy sitting opposite her facing him backwards.
He was about to get up and go to her table to enquire when he froze at the sight he saw. The guy got up from his place and went down on his knees in front of her and forwarded his hand towards her asking her for a dance. That guy was none other than his own little brother Karan Luthra!
He didn't knew how to react. His brother & love of his life. There were numerous questions in his head. Had Preeta dressed up for Karan? They both used to hate each other, then what were they doing here? Were they on a date? Were they more than friends? Was Karan using Preeta like other girls? Was Preeta like other girls? Was he thinking more? He just backed off and sat at a place from where they won't be able to see him.
Preeta had accepted to dance with Karan. Preeta's hands were in Karan's hand. They danced passionately. Their eyes glued on each other. They were lost in their world without a thought about people around them. He realized how Preeta was different and full of life when she was with Karan than other times when she is shy and quite. What was so different in his brother that he could make her laugh & giggle and bring out some other Preeta in her! He then noticed Karan's hands around Preeta's waist and Preeta digging her head cosily in Karan's arms. He couldn't take it anymore. He took out his phone to call Karan.
Karan was all lost in Preeta but came out of trance with Rishab's phone. Preeta too realized how she had got lost in Karan and distanced herself from him not able to see directly in his eyes anymore.
Karan picked up the phone, "Haan Rishab bhai, Boliye!
Rishab, on other end said, "Kaha ho tum Karan?
Karan didn't knew what to say and ended up saying that he was out with his Cricket team players. Rishab was hurt at the fact that Karan was lying to him. Karan asked Rishab if he had any work, Rishab wanting to test Karan again said that he had work with Preeta and her phone wasn't reachable and Shrishti said that she might be with you for your Physiotherapy.
Karan replied that he didn't knew where Preeta was and hung up.
Rishab called Preeta and she too said that she was at her Mamaji's place. Somewhere he had expected his brother to lie but why was Preeta hiding from him about being with Karan. He was hurt.
He called up his secretary and cancelled his business meeting. Karan paid of the bill and left with Preeta. Rishab decided to follow them.
Karan opened passenger door for Preeta and made her sit in car lovingly. They drove off.
Rishab wasn't able to think clearly. He was ready to do anything for his brother but to give him Preeta and what was the guarantee and she wouldn't be a timepass for him like other girls.
Karan and Preeta stopped at roadside to eat ice cream. What was his brother eating something roadside!!!!!! Was he really in love with her?
He saw their bickering, laughing and fun they had while eating ice cream. He had never seen Preeta so happy from the time they had met. Was he wrong about his brother? Would his brother be a better life partner to Preeta than him?
Karan and Preeta looked adorable together, they had eyelocks so many times. He couldn't help to notice all this. Finally they sat back in car again.
Karan had come to drop Preeta home. Preeta and Karan exchanged glances. She was smiling looking into his eyes. She was about to go in when Karan held back her hand.

He asked her to close her eyes, her hands still in his. He put his hands in pocket and removed a tiny box and placed it in her hands. She looked at him in confusion. He said he wanted the day to end on a perfect note and asked her to open the box.
She was hesitant but then opened the box and her eyes popped out in and she burst into her cute laughter. He calls her Miss Mental but no he was her Mr.Mental. It was a Bittergourd(Karela) Keychain 😆. She couldn't control her laughter and ran behind Karan to playfully hit him.
They both weren't aware about a pair of eyes staring at them in Jealousy. Rishab couldn't believe that he was jealous of his own little brother. He just looked at them from a distance!
If you guys like it I will surely continue about Rishab's further thoughts & reason behind Karan & Preeta's date too.😊
