One of the worst male lead characters ever.

I dont know about others, but i might be the only one or in the minority who will never like Shaurya Khanna ever, even if he redeems himself, i think i will never like him.

He is continuously targeting a woman, without any fail, insulting her and her family. What kind of man is that? Yes, i know he has very bad childhood, and that is still a mystery, and he despises middle class people, but this does not give him the right to insult, disrespect, and make others feel inferior to him.

If he so much hates her due to her middle class background and she being a fraud, then challenge her. Yet, he interrupts her even during the competition, always hovering around her, making her lose the confidence she built up, by insulting her etc. I mean, what kind of judge would do that? Even Gordon ramsey, the meanest chef on this planet, does not do that during competitions.

I am not expecting, a kind or caring Shaurya from the first instance, because he is arrogant, shrewd , cold type person. But , atleast stop trying to make a woman's life hell. The difference between his character and other similar angry young man, shrewd businessman male lead character is that, they actually feel a bit of remorse after every wrong they did to the girl. But Shaurya Khanna is just one of the most meanest, despicable male characters i have come across.

I am pretty sure there are far more worse male characters on Indian television than Shaurya. I know I have seen far worse over the years. So for me Shaurya isn't that bad. I actually like his character. I mean I don't like that he is trying to make Mehak suffer intentionally. But I accept that is going to happen and hope that he comes around soon. Or at least isn't trying to sabotage her. What I am really hoping is that no matter how hard Shaurya tries to break Mehak, she is triumphant. I like when she puts Shaurya in his place. She did in yesterday's episode and today's.

Shaurya's character is still in the making. ATM I won't call him the worst.

Zee's Ahil,Abhi are worse than him ofc, SP's ASR,Colors's RK too. He is not near them yet.

I'll wait to see whether he'll go low or have a quick turn around, before condemning him. Having said that, I don't like his style of intimidation, it borders on sexual harassment.

This story is supposed to be a home makers' journey, Sharuya is the major obstacle the FL has to cross and to make her strong, he'll have to be bad.

I agree there have been worse MLs than Shaurya Khanna. They need a dark character to show how she rises above all this. Every story of a woman going out into the world to achieve something will always show sexual harassment of some sort.

I agree with u in some cases like the constantly hovering around her etc is really bothering me. But this is Indian t.v industry my friend ,what more can you expect them to show u a mean ,dark, over the top rich,handsome and having-a-misserable-childhood character 😉 ? I also agree with another friend here for giving examples such as asr,rk and abhi. Surely the trps must have given the CVs encouragement to introduce more and more such type of characters in this country. And as for the show, they will constantly show the sexual harassment and ultimately how will mahek win over all that obstacles will be the target. So these shaurya hurting her finger and all are to show their chemistry,how each one is reacting etc. By the way mahek's response to his atrocities are overwhelming after gritting my teeth 👏. The show has just started and he is a debutant. It's better if u relax a bit while watching the show till they show some changes in his behavior due to mahek 😃 .

Hi...pieryrose...! I respect your opinion...but, don't you think the words meanest and most despicable character...is like condemning a person before he's proven guilty...!

I dont like his behavior but I cant say I can never like him in future also... yup the only thing bothered me was him being careless towards her pain yesterday, I was expecting him to be little bit guilty about hurting her physically but he was also using it as his advantage, I was really disappointed with him that time.

I also think the actor is not perfectly up to the mark as far as acting is concerned.
