Just like I love both Kerim and Fatmagul equally, I also respect their individual struggles equally. They both are victims of circumstances with each having gone thru dreadful, horrid times. They both are doing their utmost to cope with the raw deal life has dealt them as best as they can. Hence, whenever I feel either is being judged a bit unfairly, I tend to get a bit protective and feel compelled to explain things from their perspective. I am sure many of us feel that way. It's actually credit to the writers and their brilliant, sensitive, insightful writing that they make us feel and empathise with both the characters equally in such a complex scenario where there are so many things that can't be seen either as black or white and are mostly cloaked in shades of grey

As @DefLeppard said - key here is our balancing or our having a balanced perspective to understand the intricacies of characters and the complex situations they are mired in :))

Today's episode was unfortunately the most bungled episode so far from translation perspective - especially of Kerim-Fatmagul scenes. In arguments, one wrong word here and there can make a person come across as too harsh or even unreasonable, insensitive or completely heartless. This is what happened today with so many inappropriate words used at so many places from both sides in their arguments. Wish they had been more careful with the translation to ensure the essence of those scenes was not lost.

Will try and post subs or even scenes if possible

Hello All. I'm here, Sorry being a Bengali has its perks nowadays as you just have to shop for Pujo. 😳

@Aashi Glad, you loved my episode. 😆😆
I would share more. ❤️

@Vidya Loved the Dummies Guide. 😆😆😆
The dotcoms were so hilarious! 😆😆

To start with Meltem and Mustafa. I mean I was like Ewww when he carassed her lips. 🤢🤢 Kill me already, I mean pinning to the wall, caressing lips and cheeks is something I imagine with Bugra in my dreams a millionth times and a steamier version of this with Fawad, like I said he's my Christian Grey! ☺️
But Mustafa? I mean I will puke right on his face for something like this. 😡😡
And Meltem? Why the hell did she tolerate all of this shit by him?! 😡
Had I been in her place, I would have kicked him so hard with those heels that it would've broken his circuit and then he wouldn't have the guts to sleep with other women!

And I see divided opinions here on Meltem and Selim. For my 2 cents, I believe Adultery is as offense as Rape for me. I agree Rape is a criminal offense but Adultery is sin for some religions including me who doesn't supports it any way even if its consent.
Being a woman, Nothing absolutely NOTHING justifies a woman sleeping with any man, be her marriage is on rocks or whatever! And even if she decided to have a affair, out of all in the world, Mustafa? The Douchebag?! Ewww?! 😡
Selim is an equal criminal in my eyes for committing such a heinous crime, raping an innocent girl and so is Meltem for indulging in adultery.😡
I've not been a fan of her since day 1, a thoroughly confusing, weak and a sissy character.

And the way she was behaving, after having their inertia disturbed as if something special has happened. Ugh Woman, you make me want to slap you thoroughly..!! 😡

Muqaddas. Muqaddas. Muqaddas. Why am I not surprised with her not wanting to contribute in the restaurant and again falling in Salih's trap? She is such an opportunist who just wants to look to her selfish needs and wants. 😡
Her cat fight with that woman in the school cracked me up so so bad! 🤣🤣 Pulling each other's hair! 😆😆😆

I really feel bad for Muraad who has Muqaddas and Salih as his biological parents, that little soul doesn't deserves any bit of it.
Regarding Rahami, I agree his love for MQ goes a bit overboard at times but then we've got to think from his psyche, that he is too innocent to pick up any schemes of MW, but even I feel he needed to thrash Muqaddas instead of Salih.

Kerim. He's a sunshine. ❤️ And I somewhere get his bitterness for his father as he was responsible for his mother's death, left him alone as a kid and hadn't even spared a look at him, is now writing letters and calling him, he is bound to react and that phone call was a proof of that. Even I loved Fatma's complaints to her psychiatric as it was kind of cute. 😳

Even I agree with FG, that in a relationship trust is more than love or intimacy. If he wants FG to trust him, then he should start trusting her too and at least listen to what she said about listen to his father first and then decide about forgiveness. But the slow progress to the restaurant was shown beautifully by the makers. ❤️

That smile on Fatma's face, was so so beautiful and so so serene when she saw Gul's Muftangi or Gul's Kitchen as the name. ❤️ Even Kerim's smile there..
And it was so so sweet of him to bring flowers for both Meriyam Maa and FG. And his apology to Meriyam was so so heartfelt and lovely. ❤️

The first day at Restaurant was so beautiful. ⭐️
The cozy little beautiful place was turned into an equally pretty restaurant, I for one loved the cozy, neat beautiful interiors. ❤️
But those red flowers seemed more like a siren and all were alerted. 😆😆😆
And I loved Kerim's dhamkis to Mustafa! 👏👏👏 His angry avatar was so bang on!
And Vidya, It did remind me of the scene vwhere Asher finds Khizar in his office, slaps him and gives him a piece of his mind. ⭐️
Kerim's, "meri biwi hai woh!" to Asher's "Naam mat lena meri biwi ka apni gandi zubaan se!" 👏👏 Such DejaVu!
I loved how Kerim insisted on, "Meri Biwi Hai Woh!" To "Ketenci Nahi Ilgaz." was sounding so endearing to me!
A man should know how to prove his rights on his wife. ❤️
Though I don't mind expensive gifts but meaningful gifts are love too, spcly flowers that too roses for me. ❤️

Erdogan and his dhulaai to Selim! 🤣🤣
I can understand anyone can go bonkers with Selim's Meltem rant! 😆😆😆
And how he was like, "Pair Hilana Bandh Kar!" 🤣
To add, I'm loving Kaan's all bearded, unshaven look! ❤️ Needless to mention, that he is such an amazing actor. 👏⭐️

Kadir Bhai, I loved how he managed to shake up Vural! 👏👏⭐️ His words that Fatma had indeed started trusting him stirred Vural and even after seeing the pics of those rape victims, he had tears in those eyes. Good Job! 👏👏
I even loved how he didn't even give a rats ass to Leman's threats. 😆😆😆

I can't sympathize with Vural, but his tears did make me feel a teany bit bad.
Also Selim's reaction to Meltem cracked me up! 🤣🤣
It felt as if he would just cry right there like a girl, begging her! But he surprised me saying he'll kill her. 😆😆😆

Today's Episode had been watched too, review up tomorrow! 😃

Compiling today's episode with lots of thoughts flying over me! Difficult to watch things this pacy, but there's the ruthless adrenaline rush that wants makes such discomforting events all exciting to experience... Every bit of it was cruelly enjoyable!

1

Starting from the point where Kaderbhai still working hard to convince Kerim keep quiet. Yes Kerim's under pressure, as explained by @Eirene but his calmness is inevitable for Fatmagul getting justice. When the going gets tough, Kerim, regardless of his improved equation with Fatmagul, still falters to earn her wrath. And that's why the cookie's only half baked, for now. Reforms a work in progress.

2

Fatmagul expressing no fear about anything that can come her way was terrific! She seems to know Mustafa's range, and is quite coolly dealing the threats, for now at least. Natural for Kerim to be extra wary about Mustafa, and how Munir will enjoy that suspicion in Kerim's mind! Exactly like he would have wanted... Love to see Fatmagul go naturally bold, and that's the boon arising from her difficult recovery. At this rate, she has the will and courage to take on everyone even without Meryem, Kerim and Kaderbhai. If the enemy camp is in need retaliation, Fatmagul's bringing truckloads of them behind her... This is where the show is about showcasing the feminine strength, and that of Fatmagul!

3

Mukaddes is doing what she knows to do. Cheat everyone for her own shameless profit! Her creepy talk with Salih was where the rot was evident, and she's a decrepit woman at the core of all problems. Her dreams of illicit future with Salih have never evaporated at all, despite Salih thrashing her demons out in the public! Despite this being bitter, most viewers in the Fatmagul camp will want to see her done away for good, once and for ever.

4

Munir's started games behind Mustafa's back and how accurate of the latter to question him of the flowers incident! Despite them being in the same camp, Munir's playing his own cards which perhaps even Risat isn't remotely aware of... He's using Yasar as an alternate to Mustafa who's all about getting costly return favours and also not fully trustworthy. Except that Risat has paid, all the arrows are from Munir's quiver. With such psychological warfare all around, it's getting extremely interesting, thinking of combinations and possibilities. But is he a match to Kaderbhai's bulls-eye expertise?

5

What a terrific nightmare was that?!! Hats off to whoever worked on her appearance, it was eerily nauseating to her victim Vural! Risat-Munir may buy the town all over, but their prized Vural is languishing in their own backyard. Semsi knew Vural's back to crumbling and that's where the coffin nails are hitting Risat the hardest. Vural's condition is really pathetic, speaking neutrally. Kaderbhai's words are bleeding Vural from within and that's where the first defence line of Yasrans seem cracking. Fatmagul's busy working in her restaurant, when her magnificent zombie double has just started slaying Vural to shreds. That's simply gorgeous in the context of good vs evil! Vural badly wants another chance for suicide now.

6

Munir was at trouble to see Risat and Semsi speaking high of Kaderbhai, who has not even begun his game. What he did to Vural was only a teaser of things to come. Risat feels the trauma already, and at his age and experience, knows how things are flowing. Munir calling Kaderbhai an old drunkard lawyer, even when Vural has just been taken apart was just downright haughty!

7

Coming to E&S, it's Selim's turn to go uncontrollably crazy. Meltem has left him with pain he never had experienced. Him crying out for lawyer Munir was a terribly crestfallen person trying to force himself out of reality. Erdogan manages to drill sense calling it a non-existent relationship and merely a convenient arrangement if anything, even calling it an end game for Turaner's political career. Jailmates have kept the duo under control, else E&S will cut each other to pieces.

8

Meltem's hate for Selim has made her go equally mad. How aptly she measures the strength that hatred brings with itself. Ender was softer to Meltem in many days, now that they have lost everything important for the time being. Turaner has vowed to make Risat pay for everything that's gone awry, and already scheming in that regard. Risat saw this coming too.

9

Meltem and Ender shutting out the Perihan witch was pleasing to watch. Perihan wanting to soften Meltem, and how beautifully Meltem dismissed her all the while giving her love and respect. Risat-Munir's expressions at facing Meltem's divorce notice was awesome... The use of 'motherhood' and relating it to Fatmagul's context was brilliant from Meltem-Ender. Perihan fell flat on her efforts to convince Meltem.

10

Meryem-Fg working super hard at the restaurant was the only easy scene to watch. The ugliest parts to watch where Kerim's riding taunts on Fatmagul without trying to understand her words regarding Mustafa. When trouble strikes, their distrust creeps up, almost questioning their identities. Hate to see Kerim taking potshots on Fg, who's only begun to recover. He's lucky she has kept herself from bursting out, understanding his anxiety over caring for her. The trust deficit needs urgent remedial. Only the duo of Meryem-Fg is free of any mutual suspicion and distrust, Kerim's not behaving well at the moment. All the Istanbul trip has come to nought.

11

"Mubarak ho Mukaddes madam, bahut Mubarak ho" I could hear Ebenine saying that again! The moment she learns it as Salih's wife, she's all on blaming Mustafa and enhancing Kerim's doubts. Kerim totally misreads Fatmagul's love for him, and it was very distasteful of him to allege her of that. Happily enough, Ebenine finds out the reality that Mukaddes hides from them, else it could have been the beginning of another set of troubles. And how shamelessly Mukaddes tries to calm things down! Extremely dirty of her!

12

Vural's had enough and was probably on his way to end his wretched life! I was waiting for him to escape somehow, it would have added severely to the boiling pot of curiosity. By trying to escape, he has confirmed his feelings of guilt to everyone around him. I wonder how this will be interpreted in the courtroom.

The house being in broken state wasn't good to watch. Perhaps Ms Behan has had enough?

I can't help but think of what's going to come upon us tomorrow.

Awaiting your views tomorrow. Good night. Sleep well.

@ramanika - actually you cld also blame it on the wrongly translated dialogues and the wrong tone of voice used in the dubbing. Just one example - in the first scene, when FG suddenly gets up to leave and Kerim asks her where she is going she doesn't say "tumhay isessay kya" in the Turkish version, as shown in Hindi. That sounds so rude. In the original she says "I am going to the wastebin" and then she goes and dumps the flowers in the bin. Saying this doesn't sound rude but the Hindi one does. Similarly, the tone of the dubbed voices was rude at many places whereas in the original it wasn't so. Hence, things came across pretty wrong in the dubbed version imo.

Hello Friends,

Thank you all for ur wonderful post n analysis...I love reading all ur view points and character analysis.
I m crazy about this show.. For the last one month i dont remember how many times i ve watched this show..It seems i cant get enough of it...it has become like addiction :D
Usually I m silent reader but few posts here about Kerim not forgiving his father expecting same from Fatmagul made me share my two cents about the matter.
Whatever happended with FG was very cruel n considering Kerim's role in it one can understand FG doubts n anger towards Kerim for being contradictive.
But from Kerim's point of view, his father is not only the reason for his mother's death but he also abandoned him when he was only 6 years old n for years(for almost a decade i believe) he didnt come to take him back with him nor wrote to him n then suddenly he started sending him letter. when his father left him he was kid n by the time his father wanted to contact him he must be around 18- 20 years old. n what he did to connect with his son... just sending letter wont heal him. he should have atleast come to meet him. Time is also crucial in forgiving anybody... saying sorry after so many years wont give him back his parentless childhood. He never even got an opportunity to complain or share/ unload his anger on his father. So, Kerim being angry with his father,i think is justifibale.
wheresas in Fatmagul's case, Kerim was there for her. helping her...asking for forgiveness...trying in every possible way to make her life easy...i m not ignoring his role in FG's incident...but we all saw his efforts for redemption.
Both FG n Kerim are in a way similar...
I hate Mustafa.. he is really characterless ass****. he is not worthy of anything... But see FG too could not forgive Mustafa when he came to her house asking forgiveness after he learned truth from Kerim. coz that time was passed. As I said earlier Time is very crucial if u not take efforts at right time then its of no use...
So at this point of their life I can understand why Kerim is being angry n resentful towards his father...(Spoiler Alerts: In future we will see how he not only forgive his father but also accept him as his Baba)

Ditto! my thought []
I was disappointed by others cumment regarding this matter but not posting my openion only coz of m not 1st time viewer & galti se 1st time viewers ka entertainment spoile na kar doon 😛
But main point is, Kerim ki (too much) determination for FG's 4giveness & make her life better IS plesureing with ExtraOrdinary efferts & genuin but His father's determination is genuine yet with ordinary efferts...Kerim is facing every (shit) thing from 8-months but his dad did not face him from 16-years...&...if rape is one of biggest troma for a gal then sight of his mother's hanged dead body is also a biggest troma for a 10-year child...So, i find here, more than Kerim, Fatma is extra demanding for expecting same action by Kerim...even she was not wrong to gave him ForgivenessKnowlage for his/her-self...but yeh condition hona galat hai ki, if Kerim'll give his father a chance then he has right to ask for 4giveness 😳
Once, Fatma said to Kerim, "itz easy to ask for Forgivness because everybody knows once own pain...if the one'ld know what the person in front feels, may be the one'ld not even be brave enough to ask for Forgiveness."...& yeh Fatma par bhi apply hota hai 😛

PS-
Aisa nahi hais iss show main Fatma aur uske actions humesha right rahe hain & honge...but makers of this show never show any blame on her by their charecter(specialy by Kerim)...& itz not mean, viewers ki eyes se yeh chhup jata hai OR makers Feminism hain...itz only coz, Fatma is a rape victim & makers treated her (by Kerim & Merium) like a bimar bachhi who need extra care & love...Fatma & Kerim both r victims os circumtances but between them Fatma is victim & Kerim is guilty...but bottom line is, Waqt Ke Saath Har Zakhm Bhar Jate Hain, Right medicine with Love & Care se 😊
