In the beginning of the soap, Pragya was shown way too much worried about her mother's health and happiness. Sarla Maa was more worried about Pragya than Bulbul perhaps because Pragya was the one who had issues getting married etc.
Pragya agreed to marry a man she didn't want to marry (Abhi) due to her mother's insistence.
And she even tolerated the hatred of her husband, continued the misunderstanding of a marriage mostly due to the worry of her mother's health. One of the few times she was really mad at Abhi was when she warned him to not let Sarla Maa know the truth of their marriage.

And even when she confessed loving to Abhi, she quotes, mother, books and Abhi as the three loves of her life.
But I am having such a hard time seeing how Pragya does not share her plotting with her mother and letting her cry and suffer. Now one can argue a mother should know her daughter. But the point is while every parent would like to believe in their children but not all children always remain rightful.
Sarla Maa is a "hyper/filmi" mother, however, she has stood by Pragya in her worst- when Suresh ended up compromising marriage/love with Pragya, when she was accused of MMS or when she left Abhi due to Tannu baby problem... etc. Even now, if she tells her the problem, Sarla Maa herself might tackle Tannu and kick her out of AbhiGya's life..đ
Anyways, the point is why is Pragya letting her mother suffer? Why does she not worry about her health and happiness anymore? Is Abhi's wealth/fame so important? She does not even have the urgency to solve the matters so that it is less of a burden on her mother.
It's not like Abhi's life is in danger or anything. It's not an out of the world situation where celebs get accused of fathering babies/affairs. And Aaliyah is Abhi's sister and Abhi would totally know better how to handle Aaliyah or get his wealth/fame back if he does lose it indeed. Pragya wasn't with him the first time around when he achieved his current status.
Then why is Pragya keeping Sarla Maa in dark? Sarla Maa is already sad that her daughter's marriage is broken and she would only be happy to hear the problem of Tannu was not a real problem. She may even support Pragya's plotting if she is told by Abhi's Daadi.
This also bothers me that Abhi's Daadi doesn't worry about Sarla Maa's health either. At least BB showed some concern recently. But why Pragya is not caring about her mother? Is her guilt of leaving Abhi when he needed her the most is so big that she is ignoring her mother's welfare?
Anyways, it's a contrasting behaviour from Pragya. First she cared so much for her mother and did everything for her and now she is hurting that same mother when the mother has no role or reason to be hurt in this matter. I wish they make Pragya reveal her plotting to Sarla Maa.
