I feel she already has done her mother's bidding when she married Abhi for her mother's sake. She was and is a good and responsible daughter. Well, Sarla ma character is not one who can keep a secret or stop herself from over-reacting! You know, I don't think her mother's health will be an issue in this track.

It may not be an issue, but my issue is Pragya taking her health for granted. The only reason I bought Pragya tolerating AbhiGya marriage was her concern for her mother.

But you never know, they are showing Sarla Maa a lot.. sometimes going delusional.. BB was worried the other day. Let's see.

Pragya did not give up on her Maa when she married. And a mother-daughter relationship does not disappear just because you got married..

Pragya had options to send Sarla Maa away for a piligrimage and keep her out of it. or just come up with a solid plan and solve things in days if not a week.

And the reason of not involving maa is almost same as Abhi. Maa is hyper like Abhi, the moment she will come to know, she is not going to sit, first she will tell Abhi, then slaps ki barsaat on Taaliya.

She can not take risk specially at this stage when they don't know about real daddy and raj.

Earlier most important person in Pragya's life was Maa, she went to any extent to save her from the shock. Now it is Abhi, she will go to any extent to save him, and so far all other dear one are doing fine.

Well, why is Pragya allowed to hurt Sarla Maa but Sarla Maa is expected to take it all chup chaap? She doesn't know what we know to sympathize with Pragya. All mothers can believe their children are perfect but it's a fact that some children do turn bad... and one has to accept na, if that happens to your children.

Sarla Maa didn't raise Pragya to make fun of other's beliefs. That is why she scolded Pragya. Pragya didn't need to make fun of others keeping fast. Yeah Mitali, Taiji may not be sincere, but Pragya is no one to mock at them about their beliefs.
