Definitely Jordon..For one, it was a better written character & the angst sorta made sense..I disliked Rockstar too but after watching BV, I think it was a lot better in comparison 😆 Jordon is right up there after Barfi IMO strictly in terms of Ranbir's performance..And then i'd say Sid from WUS ( i love love RK in the film) and then Johnny ( not because RK was bad..he was good but keeping all things in mind, i'd rate the other 3 higher)..Wait, i think i loved Ranbir in Rocket Singh too 😆

Anurag does have a way with love stories, his love stories are always so angsty and beautiful, they just work. There is something special about his films that just connect people. Love Story had translated music from the bengali music band Cactus and god, the music was beautiful. Yeah, I would probably not watch BV so I wouldn't know lol. But I agree about good performances being coupled with good scripts and BW is so hyper commercialized, they also need to make money tbh. Case in point, Lootera. The way such a gorgeous film was snubbed was truly amazing lol.

Idk I feel like there is a small female starpower revival is happening. I may be wrong but I feel like people around me want to see good female characters so that's good in a way.

I know I'd get jumped for this but SRK IMO is the best among Khans. His one Kabir, one Mohan, one Vijay in Anjaam are legit game-changers. But he would keep on doing trash so I am just done lol. There is this moment in Swadesh when Mohan returns from the village and tries to shut everyone out while frantically searching for a cigarette, he is amazing.

But yeah, what's the point?

Good. Both of them needed something like this. Failure is the best kind of teacher. Because up until now what has been Ranbir's arc? What has been his great challenge? Nothing at all, everyone assumed he will easily reach the top with his acting skills but his lack of good decision making skills has landed him here. Now he finally has a challenge. He clings to movies and his acting because that's all he knows and it has led to this moment. Now he will really have to rethink his way of thinking and taking decisions. Now prove yourself RK if you have it in you. This is finally when it gets interesting.
