I know that these stars have to kiss and make up with the media at some point of time...but this woman didn't waste a minute into going back into the arms of TOI🤢...I mean do u remember that her issue was not limited to just Indian media...it went all over the world with so many international publications commending her for taking a stand for women...and her stand gaya tel lene within no time...atleast she could have waited a little while before going crawling back to TOI🥱

BI, you keep on justifying yourself as having taken a stand for the stand itself (and as Rupalov put it so well in one posts sometime back, nobody has said anything bad or is in two minds about the actual social issues at hand)...which I really feel you don't need to say or are held responsible for by anybody. When people say 'even those who were with her are seeing error in her ways,' it is no way, shape or form a criticism about the actual stand...it's about how people believed Deepika and were convinced that she was championing a cause rather than seeing through the fact that it was a publicity stunt or self-serving move on her part. And saying that those who supported her have now backed down...trust me, no one thinks they've backed down from the actual issue. Rather, it's just an observation of how Deepika couldn't keep up the act and if anything, it shows that there were people who were ready to support her that believed more in the issue than it was about her for them...because they're still aligned on the side of the cause when she has moved away from it. It's only the people who supported her then and still support her now that were never for the stand...for them it's about supporting a personality rather than a cause and they should be the ones trying to justify their behaviour, not people who were with the cause all along.

So u have no problem if the cleavage stand is brought up 10000 times...and a comment is made on those who supported her at that time...but you have a problem someone justifying themselves?? seriously...One is OK and the other is not??

Of course anytime a dig will be taken on those who supported her...the justification will come up...How about preaching to both the parties...don't bring up the cleavage issue...if u don't want to hear about the justification...

The answer to 2+2 will always be 4...I can't change it and make it 5 or 6 or 7 just because u heard 4 10000 times and are bored of it...don't want to hear a 4...don't bring up 2+2...so yeah...play fair...don't accuse just one party...if u have to be all preachy...

That's nothing new she has always been fake from the beginning, hypocrite and attention seeker. Ranbir is one lucky guy who got rid of this woman.

BI, I think most on the forum are quite clear on your stand unlike others. Justifications should only be given to those who matter. I don't even bother wasting my time justifying myself to friends at times forget about strangers and that to virtual strangers 😆 Those who know you will know your intentions, those who don't, mehhh who cares. Rather use the time to have fun mocking away than boiling your blood for faceless beings 😆 Tables have turned and now it's your time to mock those who mocked you for taking the offense 😆 #MyIdeaOfFun

She could possibly have forgiven TOI.

Forgiveness does not equal weakness. It shows inner peace and strength.

Why can't the act of forgiveness be a part of feminism?

We already saw her famously keep her old "RK" tattoo. Yes she was over it, she moved on, but the scar remains. Same way with the TOI fiasco, she's moved on by attending the show - they did apologise too.

And why wouldn't she attend Filmfare? She won last year, and it's good for her career to go there. Sheezus!

Even I supported DP when she took that stand but then she made it look silly and stupid. At the end of the day celebs cannot survive without media and she must have eaten her own words. Anyways I am nobody to judge if she's a hypocrite or not cuz we all are at one point or the other
