Whether Deepika took on TOI by design or because she was offended..people can only guess.
She got full and worldwide support,because either way it was audacious for a female star who was at the peak of her career ,with a streak of hits and good reviews to take on such a pwerful newspaper.
If indeed she was in collusion with TOI..that again shows her starpower,that a media Giant needs her to make headlines..(and take brickbats too)
As for the AIB roast..She is supposed to have the best PR and image consultant..She also knew the nature of jokes going to be played at the roast.yet she went🤔..perhaps for Ranveer(aww).Someone who is said to be so shrewd..went ahead and congratulated the show too.This is after she heard all the jokes.She didnt wait to think about it..she tweeted!
That confidence is what makes rivals so upset and fearful and the reason she gets respect from the people that matter..the industry and the media.
