Mumbai: Bollywood's versatile actress Priyanka Chopra, who has also proved her singing talent before the world with three International singles, is now all set to croon her first Bollywood number. Yes, as per reports, PeeCee will sing for her upcoming film 'Mary Kom'.

Confirming the reports, Piggy Chops took to Twitter and stated, "Yup! #MaryKom RT @StLouisgirl123: @priyankachopra When are you going to start singing in Hindi Movies?? Going to Do that as well??"

PC, who has earlier, sang three International tracks namely "In My City" with popular rapper Will-i-am, "Exotic" with Pitbull and "I Can't Make You Love Me", had received huge fame and appreciation for her singing spree.

PeeCee is playing the role of the Indian boxer Mary Kom in the film.

Well, it seems like the actress has been inspired by the young crop of Bollywood, as previously actress Shradhha Kapoor and Alia Bhat explored their singing talent in Bollywood.

So what!?

Its anyways not gonna be pop, rock or item song number. Considering the film has very dramatic tone, it will be soft number. I am sure Priyanka will excel in it...

Incase you didn't know, in the early days it was common for actors and singers to sing their own songs.

I feel Piggy should have done this earlier - now it will look like she is jumping on the Alia/Shraddha bandwagon to some people.

Although Madhuri also sang a song this year in Julaab Gang (also in Aaja Nachle + Devdas).

Kareena sang a song also (can't remember the film, was it Dev?)
