Hmmm... so either there was no one called Pt Shivram or else they were the same person.
I'll need to check where I had got this information from (most probably RMIM).

There was another relatively unknown MD who's given music in Punjabi and Hindi movies - S Mohinder. Dont remember if his name has been mentioned in this thread...

I may have mentioned him somewhere. He gave music to some 15-20 Hindi movies-- Bahadur, Shehzada, Papi. Mehelon ke Khwab etc. but most notably -- Shirin Farihaad (1956) starring Pradeep Kumar and Madhubala. There is very good and popular Lataji's song in this movie --

guzara hua zamana ata nahi doobara, hafiz khuda tumhara

Wanted to say: I am very curious to know about Shaan's father's compositions. Are there any in Hindi? There must be because they lived in Bombay.

Shaan's father, Manas Mukherjee, composed music for about a dozen films, most notably Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyu Ata Hai. Most of his other movies are unknown to many. Here are some names -
