Salilu ji,
I did talk about a movie but classified it as C-grade 😆. There's another one that might fit the bill - The Adventures of Robin Hood. Again a "lousy" movie (C-grade) but had an all time classic by Rafi that I had uploaded some time ago - "maana mere haseen sanam, tu rashke maahtaab hai".

Corvallis ji,
In this thread, we're talking about MDs who're not talked about as much as others just because they had small banners and their movies didn't fare as well at the box office. Please dont take it as an insult to any of these composers...

Maana Meri Haseen Sanam is an absolutely fantastic song! Thanks for reminding me of it! Who composed it? Now I must ask someone to send me the MP3 of this song if they have it. Think of Robin Hood singing this song 😆

As far as I remembered Mr. & Mrs 55 was mostly O.P. Nayyar ji and one song I guess was of SD Burman. Never knew about SHivaram Krishnan 😕

Thanks for adding to the confusion😆. Ab ye Burman dada ka gaana kaun sa hai?

I was listening to this song "are na na na na na na toba tooba main na pyar karungi"

When I digged into the detais (ofcourse google search) to find the mvie and composer it turned out tobe Mr & Mrs 55 and S. D. Burman.

I am not 100% sure.

Wasn't this from Aar-Paar though 😕... And as far as I know, Aar-Paar was all OP...

Yes. "nananana tauba tauba" is from Aar Paar by OPN. I saw the movie recently.

Sorry for the confusion...

Chaliye at least we got the information that Pt Shivram was OPN's assistant...

Talking of "Pandits", there used to be a Pt. Amarnath ji who's composed quite a few songs. I remember reading about him in the tribute to Pt SD Batish last month...

I read all the confusion about Mr. & Mrs. 55 and Aar Paar. OPN it was all the way and his assistants at the time were Sebastian and G. S. Kohli
