"People may not always tell you how they feel about you, but they always show you. Pay attention."
This is a quote I had read sometime somewhere and this OS reminded me of it.
"...unspoken understanding has always been between the two..."
How true!
I loved reading this OS. What better way to read about Arnav's love than from Khushi's point of view. She is the person who always saw behind the rough exterior he put on...beyond his screaming and yelling into his heart...beyond his words into the care in his eyes.
Not that he didn't do some really mean things to her and got away with an aadha adhoora sorry in the middle of the night... still...
He atoned for everything and then the CVs had to bring in Sheetal and irritate us where we could have them enjoying marital bliss! And I really loved seeing Khushi as a personality who is in charge of herself... I also loved her profession... Always thought her dabba business was a better business than that Mrs. India drama! It was even shown that he registered the company for her but then kuch nahi...
I loved how you've written the undemanding, selfless love Khushi always had for Arnav and what her Arnavji has for her now... Arnav's words at the function were a testament to that!
I loved the title <3
"clean-shaven, hair trimmed to perfection and impeccably dressed as usual"
This description reminded of this Arnav...
Sigh
