As usual Aunty Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jalal instantly sums up what lies behind Jodha's lovely poem to the child he awaits: Lagta hai ki dil se likha hai. But it needs a dil, and a sensitive and perceptive one, to recognize what another such dil feels.

i totally agree with this.
What Jalal feels for Jodha is definitely special!! He is somewhere aware of that.

i am now really glad Smilie left the show. Ruqaiya's character is made a total plastic like you said!!!!!!!!!!

but anyways i enjoy your posts!!!!

you take care Aunty

No, Ela dear, for there was nothing in it to discuss, neither in the Mahaam-Adham parts nor in the jashn part.

The only 2 noteworthy things were the extra attention Jalal now gives to Jodha and the regard he displays towards her, which was expected after the poem segment of Thursday, and the kesar doodh angle couple with the precap. There was nothing clear to go on there, and i saw no point in indulging in fruitless and very likely erroneous speculation about the latter point and its implications for Jodha and Jalal, I very rarely try to second guess the CVs, there is no shortage of people here doing just that, with multiple threads on the same topic!

I am sure there will be something worth analysing come Monday. Let us hope that it is rational, and not silly and melodramatic. For example, how could Mahaam have added poison in the milk so cleverly adjusted as to kill the baby but not Ruqaiya? And within that very short time, with staff all around?

As for Ruqaiya, she is bad enough as she is, one cannot stand a still worse version, screaming at and accusing Jodha of killing her baby.

My dear,

What would I do without you and the others like you? You are all so unfailingly warm and supportive that it makes all the effort of typing so much daily, at my age, more than worthwhile.Thank you so very much!

Regarding Ruku's miscarriage...Jodha might be blamed but Jalal will brush it off...becoz in SBS segment it was shown that Jodha was tying Rakhi to all her 4 brothers...She was quite happy ...so obviously nothing happened...

Another thing is serial is moving at a very fast speed...JJ got married on 5th of August and there relationship has moved so much...

One funny thing that I noticed was the court scene when Ruku is seated on the throne and Jodha smiled at her from inside her ghooghat , the way Ruku raised her eyebrows...It was so funny...

Another funny thing was the thal gifted by Bakshi bano...It had bananas and also cucumber in it...

Yes, it is moving at a good pace, but if not, we would have had a series of nonsensical conflict scenes, and they are so fatiguing after a while.

It is also a question of how far they are going to take the story, past the birth of Salim, the abolition of jaziya and the wholescale integration of Rajput nobility with the Mughal raj. The movie ended before the birth of Salim, as you would remember. I think they will go much further politically with this one, let us see. There is the taking of Chittor and Ranthambore, in 1568, for one thing, which completed the taming of Rajputana, with only Kunwar and then Maharana Pratap of Mewar as a holdout.

Yes, Ruqaiya was comical, but as for Bakshi Banu's gift, that was the traditional godhbharai stuff. There was nothing else there, which is why I am sure that is what it was.

Bhagwan Das has returned to Amer, which is only proper, but what of Mansingh's training? No sign of that as yet, nor of Jalal keeping Mansingh with himself. I hope the CVs have not forgotten about that part!
