Yes, I agree, otherwise there was no point in highlighting the poem yesterday and the gift today.

But why does Jodha, having given a gift already, have to bounce out of the purdah and join in for the Amer gift? She should have left that to her brothers. All this do-gooding is what creates problems for her!😉 Plus Jalal is so hell bent on bringing her up front and centre that he adds to them inadvertently.

Before the consolation part, there will be the wild accusation by Ruqaiya against Jodha, with Mahaam, irrespective of whether she had any hand in it or not, clucking from the sidelines and making supporitve noises, but with one weather eye open for Jalal;s reaction, to which she will then trim her sails.

Jalal will stand unhesitatingly by Jodha and that will be a major boost to their relationship. It will be further cemented by their shared sorrow at the loss of the baby.
