My dear Kashi,

It pleases me no end when my somewhat esoteric literary tastes are both shared and appreciated. Thank you, my dear.

I agree with all that you have said about this episode; it was a very pleasant surprise, when I was all set for a series of tiresome conflict scenes.

You know, my dear, it is very perceptive of you to notice the background music. I confess I never do unless it is too loud or otherwise irritating, I must rewatch the episode and pay attention to it this time.

" A NEW HOPE" ,

Aptly titled , though it brings along the star wars memories too ... but i would definitely like to add , the episode brought out tht feel with in all of us ...

It was a really a balanced one . The one thing tht iam really impressed with is tht pace of the serial , there is something or else going on , its not like those saas-bahu types , where we can generally see how they waste the screen by repetitive looks , slow n long pauses , its like the breath of fresh air , something different for our taste buds.

Also, i would like to mention tht of lately , they have been giving really good background music , almost every scene has it n i like the variety ... The latest conversation tht jodha n jalal , had when i saw the promo wat caught my eye(read ears) was the background music ... EK is really put in some hard work n i would like to congratulate the team for the same.

The best part for me , was tht how creatively the C.v's brought out something positive within this pregnancy track , it was beyond my imagination .. n the gift actually was quite thoughtful. The way jodha portrayed those scene really made me wonder tht she is a true shehzaadi , a princess at heart . My opinion was tht the positive outcome would be the result of the end of this track n wow am i happy to be surprised .

Now , for one i am sure of the fact tht Ma would definitely frame jodha , but not worried as the last episode has rooted nothing but a sense of satisfaction about the noble jalal being on compassionate jodha's side . In fact this trust tht jalal might end up showing in jodha , would further further sow the same fruitful seeds in jodha's dil too.

And for you aunty , i loved your analysis when u quote Jane Austen , adored it when u referred to
Petruchio and Kate , admired it when u compared it to the cruelty of King Henry VIII ( my personal fav) , n amazed when u chose to compare your title to star wars 👏

This is form me :- ( In your words)
A direct, candid n genuine thank you

Kashi

Another well written anlaysis on the episode. I especially enjoyed your analysis of Jalal and the exchange between Jodha about the poem she wrote and the first true awareness of one another beyond the anger, hatred, and games. Thank you Shyamala.

i wonder what will be Hameeda's reaction when Jodha is blamed for Ruku's miscarriage? Will she still stand by her?

Your reviewed touched me to the core just like the episode. I have watched it numerous times and might watch few more times, who is counting?? I feel the miss-carriage will bring Akdha close. Jodha will see the plight in Jalal's eyes and might be the only one who would be able to console him. This will touch Jalal again, make him more curious about the shehjadi jo khafa bhi raheti hai aur tofa bhi deti hai...

Yes, she will, Ela, without question, for she recognises Jodha's genuine goodness straightaway, and this belief in her has only been strengthened since.

Thank you, my dear. It is such appreciation that makes all the effort of typing out such long analyses, and at my age that is not a minor effort, more than worthwhile. It is a joy to be able to communicate fully with another mind.

Hamida will believe her, take her side but I doubt it is of much use. It looks like Jalal will take her side..Wouldn't that be wonderful

Dear Rose.

I am impressed and flattered to know that you have been reading my posts ever since that initial assessment of Ekta's Emperor Jalauddin Mohammed, exactly 2 months ago, on June 30. It seems like I have been here with all of you forever!

I loved that one too, and in some ways, now, two months down the line, it seems still valid. That is probably why the number of viewings and Likes for that one post are still increasing, to my great astonishment.

Thank you very much, my dear, for the warmth of your comments.
