This is my second attempt at a Telugu poem. It is the holi week on IPK Telugu on Maa TV, so thought of writing these lines based on the Holi confession.

Ee velaloney enduku gundello inni parugulu
Pratisaarila jarigene manasulo ee vintalu
Mee chenta cherinappudu, na gundeloni chappudu
Swaasakanna veganga parugunenduku
Moola kaaranaanikai prati chota vetika
Naa manasuney nenu mari mari adiga
Ae jawabu teliyaka, ae daari tochaka
Ee rozu mimmalini adugutunnanu

Nee gunde veganga kottukuntunnappudu
Naa gundelo kooda vegamaiyye chappudu
Neekunna anubhooti, naku kooda untundi
Ekamaiyyenu mana hrudaya spandanamulu

Why only at this time, so many runnings in my heart
Every time these strange things happen in my heart
When I am near you, the sound of my heart
why does it run faster than the breath
I searched everywhere for the basic reason
I asked my heart again and again
For lack of reply, for lack of finding any way
Today I am asking you
Arnav:
When your heart beats fast
The sound of my heart too speeds up
The feeling you have, I too have
Our heartbeats become one
