What they meant was, the drink made them feel like kids, as in they longed for it, the way kids want things.

LOL! No! They showed how those adult soccer players marvelled at the Frooti like they were little kids ...they were that desperate to get a sip too. Then when SRK finishes his drink and saw them staring at him, they all got embarrassed and acted cool like nothing happened. 😆
