Who is Madhubala real father?

I started watching Madhubala after RK and Madhu half marriage and loved their chemistry of love and hate. Now I hear madhu's bio father is back. Can someone give me his name and background story to catch up? Was he presumed dead? If not, why is Padmani still wearing his sindoor? Why is she not married to Malik? Please catch me up.
