It was 2 am in night but no one was sleeping except maanvi who was in her deep slumber due to the injection given to her. "Di" A quiet voice but audible one was heard by jeevika. Maanvi was coming back in her senses slowly and gradually.
"Maanu. Ab kaisa lag raha hai tujhe"She came to her side, kissing her forehead.
"Maanvi ab kaisa feel kar raho ho" Viraat asked her.
"Main thek hu per aap log thek nahi lag rahe"She tried to sit upright position so when she failed in her attempt Viraat made her in doing so.
"Kya matlab beta" Oh yes daadaji was also present witnessing the scene.
"Daddaji mera matlab yeh hai khe behosh main thi per lag raha hai jaise aap sab ki tabiyat kharab thi. Sheeshe main toh dekhiye zara sab ke chehre main bara baje hue hai" Daadaji giggled on her sentence.
"Mera chehra sachi main itna kharab lag raha hai maanvi. Haynee ab toh mujhe cream lagani pari gi." Chachi start to examine her face thoroughly while maanvi was laughing at her.
"Iss bachi ko dekh kar lagta hai jaise main ne sahih mayne main zindagi ka matlab samajh lia. Pichle 4 ghantoon se yeh behosh pari thi per abhi aise lag rahi hai jaise abhi abhi bahar se tahal kar arahi ho. Zindagi ko kaise apni muthi main kar leti hai apni baatoon se pata hi nahi chalta. Zindagi ko pori tarah se jeeti hai. Sab ko hasane ka ek mauqa nahi chorti. Chahe jaisa bhi mahool ho usko rangeen bana deti hai. Asal mainn zindagi ka dosra naam hai MAANVI. Bus ab upar wale se yehi dua hai keh yeh hamesha issi tarah hasti aur hasati rahe. Meri zindagi bhi isse lag jai"Daadaji was praising her behavior.
"Dekho main inke samne behosh kya ho gai sab itne pareshaan ho gai. Socho agar main inhe apni beemari ke bare main bata deti toh kya biti in per. Abhi toh main sirf char ghante behosh rahi hu aage jakar pata nahi kab hamesha ke liye chali gai toh kya hoga. Mere main itni himmat nahi hai keh main sab ko bata sako keh aaj jis maanvi ki harkatoon se muskurate rehte hai kal ussi maanvi ki wajah se roi ge. Kaise bata pao gi main sab ko keh mujhe CANCER hai" Maanvi was very scared to tell them. She does not had the courage to tell them about her deepest and darkest secret.
"Maanvi beta" Vanshika woke her from her thoughts. "Beta ab tum kuch kha lo phir dawayaan bhi khani hogi na"
"Haan maanu. Maa ne khas kar tere liye mazedaar si..."

"Aloo ki bhujiya"
"Nahi" Jeevika handed the plate to her.
"Maa ne especially tere liye Bengin ki sabzi, Palak ka soup aur loci ka juice banaya hai. Ab jaldi se good girl ki tarah yeh sab khatam kar le" OH GOD! Most hated food by Maanvi was served to Maanvi.
"Acha Maanvi beta. Ab hum chalte hai subah office ka kaam bhi karna hai waise bhi bahut raat ho gai hai. Apna khayal rakhna" Daadaji was very tired so he excused himself.
"Okay. Goodnight dadaji, bua ji, Chachi, Chachu"
"Maa aap bhi bahut thak gai hongi na toh aap bhi jakar thori der so jai" Jeevika wanted everyone to take some rest from this tiring day.
"Nahi beta main maanvi ke paad hi baithti hu"
"Nahi maa aap so jai main yahi hu"
"Acha thek hai per Maanvi beta tum khana aur dawai zaroor le lena" Although she nodded in yes, she stick out tongue on the food.
"Maanvi ab khana kha lo warna Jeevika tumhe zabardasti khila de gi" Viren's threat did not worked on her.
"Haan maanu Viren ji bilkul thek keh rahe hain. Jaldi se khana khatam kar le warna main tujhse aaj pora din baat nahi karo gi"
"Na karo baat waise bhi yeh din khatam hone main do ghante hi baki hai aur itni der toh main aap se bagair baat kiay reh sakti hu warna aap kitna pakati ho.Uff" Maanvi was trying hard to control her laughter.
"Main pakati hu. Kis ne kaha yeh tujhe "
"Jiju ne"
"Viren ji aap ne aisa kaha"
"Haan " Viren said unintentionally.
"Haan?"
"Nahi tum kahan pakati ho"
"Maanu ne toh kaha aur abhi aap ne hi toh kaha haan matlab main aap bhi samjhte ho main pakati hu"
"Nahi mera yeh matlab nahi tha"
"Toh kya matlab tha aapka haan"
While both were fighting ,Maanvi tried to get up from the bed but Viraat saw her on time and pulled her with her arm.
"Bus kijiye aap dono. Yeh sab Maanvi ka plan tha bhagne ka aur aap dono phas gai" Viraat finished their so called cute fight. Jeevika aur Viren made a 'HAWW' face and then gave an angry glare to Maanvi.
"Maanvi dekho agar tum khana nahi kaho gi toh dawai kaise lo gi, agar dawai nahi khao gi toh thek kaise ho gi aur thek nahi ho gi toh phir doctor mote mote injections lagai ga iss se acha hai keh tum abhi khana kha lo" Viraat gave her an excuse to eat but she was admit to not to eat this food.
"Point hai mere bhai"
"Chal Maanvi ab toh Viraat ne bhi keh dia hai lha le na khana"
"Di zara dekho toh iss khane ko lag raha hai jaise bengin bichare ko itna pita hai keh woh khud hi phis gaya aur yeh palak ke soup ki khushboo ne mere naak main dum kar dia hai. Upar se yeh loci ka juice. Is ka colour dekhti hi mujhe ulti arahi hai toh sorry per main yeh khana nahi kha sakti. Aur jiju iss bandar ke point main bhi point dhoodna mushkil hi nahi na mumkin hai. Di iss chep ke kehne se toh main zeher bhi na khao toh yeh khana kya cheez hai..."
"Acha bachoo nahi khai gi. Main bhi dekhti hu kaise nahi khati khana."
Jeevika tried to hard to feed her. She putted the spoon in her mouth. Maanvi puked the food and tried to run away again. This time as soon as she stepped out from the bed, she felt weakness all over her body and felt dizziness. Viraat noticed this so he held her hands and carefully made her sit.
"Kaha tha na khana kha lo. Ab koi awaz nahi." Viraat's pitch sounded louder than before. He took the plate from Jeevika and made her feed. Unexpectedly Maanvi swallowed all her food without any voice. First soup, then sabzi, then juice all finished in just five minutes. After food he gave her the medicines.
Meanwhile Jeevika and Viren were noticing their unique bonding and more importantly Viraat's attitude towards Maanvi. After couple of minutes, Maanvi dozed to sleep. Jeevika decided to sleep besides her.But Viraat was not agreeing to leave Maanvi's side so he made his bed below with Viren. Night faded.
"Tarun lao yeh nashta main maanvi ke kamre mein de deti hu" Vanshika took the tray and proceeded towards the room. As soon as she entered the room , the whole view left her dumbstruck. She was glued to one place while admiring the scene.
In the bed Maanvi was sleeping peacefully with her hands around Jeevika. Jeevika also seemed like hugging Maanvi. They were looking so adorable that anyone will smile seeing them together just like Vanshika. Just beneath them, her both sons were sleeping calmly. On seeing this she didnot wanted them to be disturbed therefore she went.
AFTER HALF AN HOUR
"Good morning maa" "Good morning maa" Viren and Jeevika said in unison.
"Waah kya tuning hai boss" Viraat came from behind helding Viren's shoulder.
"Kya yaar subah subah tang khenchne ka plan bana lia hai" Viren acted to be embarrassed.
"Aare di aap bilkul ussi time pe tiyar hui ho jab Jiju ready hue. Akhir raaz kya hai mujhe bhi toh pata chale" Maanvi also joined the conversation.
"Dekha bha main bhi toh aap se yehi keh raha tha. Hum sirf poch hi toh rahe hain" Viraat stood besides Maanvi. Both shared a hi-5.
"Main kyun batao" Viren pulled Jeevika towards him. Due to this she lost her balance and clutched his shirt tightly.
"Biwi hai meri. Jab tum dono ki shaadiyaan ho jai gi tab pocho ga tumse" This sentence of viren made Virmaan lost in deep thoughts.
"Ab Viraat mujhse kal ke baare mein poche ga. Kya batao gi main use. Kal main ne us se khud kaha tha keh main use batao gi per kya mere mein itni himmat hai?" Maanvi was questioning herself.
"Kal jo kuch bhi hua mujhe Maanvi se pochna pare ga. Us ne mujhe kaha tha keh woh mujhe batai gi magar us ki tabiyat ne mauka nahi dia. Ab kya main us se khud pocho?"Viraat was engrossed in his world.
"Nahi main abhi kisi ko nahi bata sakti. Ho sakta hai yeh mujhe yahi rok le phir di ki zindagi pera mera bura asar par sakta hai."
"Haan mujhe Maanvi se pochna hoga. Hosakta hai kal ki stress ki wajha se woh hamari baat ke bare mein bhol gai ho. Ek baar mujhe bata de phir main bhabhi ki madad se uski problem solve kar doon ga" Viraat was quite happy with his decision but Maanvi was very nervous. Maanvi was looking randomly when her eyes struck at Viraat. After a second Viraat caught her looking at him. Both started looking at each other endlessly.
"Ek baar. Bus ek baar mujhe apni problem batao main tumse promise karta hoon keh main chutki main sab sahih kar doon ga"
"Kaise batao tumhe Viraat. Mere main itni himmat nahi hai keh main yeh bata sako keh main sirf kuch hi dino ki mehmaan hoon. MAIN HOON HI NAHI ISS DUNIYA KI"
"Agar mujh pe bharosa hai toh phir mujhe batao main tumhara har waqt , har ghari main saath doon ga kyunke tum meri aaj ki nahi na hi kal ki ZINDAGI BHAR KI PARTNER HO TUM MERI"

"Zindagi ki haad hoti hai maanvi. Sab ko kisi na kisi din yeh dunya chorni hoti hai. Iss duniya ka kuch pata nahi hai aaj saath nibhai gi toh kal saath chor de ge."

"Main kuch nahi chahta. Dosti aur pyaar main manga nahi sirf dena hota hai aur main tumhe kuch bhi dene ko tiyar hu. Main tumhe zindagi ki har khushi dena chahta hu aur tumhare saare gham ko khud le lena chahta hu tahkeh tum hamesha khush raho. Main tumhare liay toh khud ko bhi bhula sakta hu toh yeh kya cheez hai"
"Yehi toh main nahi chahti. Main yeh nahi chahti keh koi mere liay apni khushiyaan tabah kare. Meri zindagi ka maqsad sab ko khushi dena the na keh sab ko rula dena"

"Maanu aaja khana lag gaya hai" Jeevika's voice interupted Virmaan's eye talk. They adjusted themselves and advanced towards the table where everyone had taken their respective positions.
"Nashta shoru kijiye" Daadaji ordered all. All started eating except Viraat and Maanvi who were still trying to recode each other's voice they heard few minutes ago.
"Yeh Viraat kya kehne ja raha tha "
"Maanvi zaroor kisi bari problem main hai"
"Mujhe Viraat se pochna pare ga"
"Mujhe Maanvi se pochna pare ga"
"Viraat Maanvi beta tum dono apne khane se aise kyun khel rahe ho. Khana acha nahi laga kya . Main kuch aur le aati hu" Vanshika was about to stand up when maanvi stopped her.
"Nahi aunty bahut acha khana hai. Bus thanda hone ka intezaar kar rahi thi" Now they were eating too.
Suddenly Viren phone beeped. There was a message from his friend Vikram.
"Wow" Viren mumbled.
"Kya hua viren aise kyun muskura raha hai. Biwi saath main hai aur tu phone ko dekh kar maan hi maan muskura raha hai. Koi girlfriend wala chakar hai kya. Nahi agar hai toh bata de hum Jeevika ko samjha le ge" Inder was pulling Viren's leg while Jeevika became tensed listening about girlfriend.
"Viren ji"
"Nahi jeevika aisi koi baat nahi hai aur chachu aap bhi na khamakha jeevika ko tension main daal dia. Baat yeh hai keh mera dost hai Vikram wohi jis ne meri shaadi main bilkul akhri waqt pe pandit ka intezaam kia tha"
"Haan beta yaad hai. Bara hi nek bacha tha magar kya hua usse" Daddaji asked.
"Woh daadaji"
"Us ki anniversary ho gi" Jeevika started the talk.
"Vikram aur"
"Bhai us ki dosri shaadi fix ho gai kya"Viraat asked.
"Kaisi baatein kar raha hai"
"Phir uss ki job main promotion ho gai" Maanvi gave her opinion.
"Asal main woh"
"Acha uss ki behn videsh se wapis arahi ho gi" Vanshika also joined in the conversation.
"Are maa woh toh pichle mahine hi agai thi na" Viraat said.
"Phir woh baap bane wala hoga" Inder said.
"Nahi woh"
"Haynee phir kya hosakta" Chachi
"CHUP" Viren shouted making all silent.
"Vikram aur us ki biwi Shree bahut khush hai toh koi dusri shaadi ka khayal nahi hai Viraat. Maanvi us ki koi promotion nahi hui kyunke woh business karta hai woh bhi khud ka apna. Maa jaisa keh Viraat ne bataya us ki behn pichle mahine hi wapis aai thi toh aisa toh ho nahi sakta keh woh itni jaldi jakar phir aai. Aur chachu uski apni baap banne ki koi planning nahi hai" Viren cleared out them in one breath.
"Viren ji cool ho jai phir batai. Aap itni khush kyun horahe the"
"Jeevika Vikram aur Shree ki 2nd marriage anniversary aaj hai toh us ne ek party rakhi hai jis main us ne hamari pori family ko ghar pe bulaya hai"
"Ae le. Yehi toh bhabhi ne kaha tha"
"Main bhi yehi toh batana chahta tha magar aap logo ne bolne ka mauqa hi kahan dia""Acha ab batai aap log chale ge kyunke abhi tak main ne us ko kuch nahi bola hai. Maanvi ki tabiyat kharab thi na toh us ka jaana munasib nahi ho ga"
"Nahi beta hamein zaroor jana chahiye us ne mushkil waqt main hamari itni madad ki thi ab hamara far banta hai keh hum us ki khushi main shareek hu us ko acha laga ga kyun Maanvi beta?"

"Toh teh raha aaj sham kitne baje"

"Aaj sham hum sab 7 baje Vikram aur shree ki dawat main jai ge. Sab thek waqt pe tiyar rehna"
"Ji daadaji" All the elders went to the office. Viren had taken an off as there was no important cases lined up.
Viraat and Maanvi tried hard to talk to each other but every time someone becomes a hurdle in their way enabling them to contact each other. So they decided that they will make all the questions cleared up in this party.
