Chapter 8

while arranging the wardrobe she was thinking about her meeting with kesar...she was having pain in her feet as she had walked around half a mile morever the sprain caused due to heel was not completely gone she was thinking to apply a ointment and suddenly a ointment and a note fell down from her coat's pocket...she picked up the ointment and the note

it was the same ointment kesar had offered her in his house...gulaal looked at the ointment in amusement...and then remebered she had wore the same coat that day

Gulaal said to herself "yeh ointment yanha aur kesar ne kab meri pocket mein daala" and then she opened the note

"Gulaal apne pair ka khayal rakhna koi hai jo in pairo k nishan (footsteps) par sajda (bow) karta hai"

She read it and after 5 minutes the word dispeared from the note...it was written with disappearing ink...gulaal looked at it in surprise and then threw the note in irritation

She said "jyada hi smart banta hai"

After 5 secs she looked back at blank note and picked it up she touched it and then kept in her drawer

She said "yeh kesar kanha se meri life mein aa gaya jab se aaya hain tab se bas uska hi saaya mere aas pass rehta hai"

Next morning

Gulaal got up and saw her jeep was standing outside her home she called a guard and asked "yeh jeep yanha kaise"

Guard said "ek mechanic de gaya tha aapne gadi sahi karwane ko di thi naa "

Gulaal was about to say something and then revji came and asked gulaal" kal tumhari gadi kharab ho gayi thi"

Gulaal said "ji papa"

Revji asked "to phir ghar kaise aayi"

Gulaal looked down and said "papa woo ek friend mil gaya tha?usne drop kiya"

Revji said "chalo acha hai" and he walked away

Gulaal said "friend my foot"

After a while gulaal got ready for her work and as usual she stood outside his office and his home to spy him and the same pattern followed a boy came with cup of tea and heart shaped choclate and without taking money ran away and in afternoon pizzaboy delivered her favourite pizza

Gulaal spied on him for next two days and nothing much happened except the same routine

On third day gulaal met dushyant

Dushyant asked "kuch clue mila gulaal"

Gulaal said "nahi sir koi clue nahi hai infact neeraj k image to kafi clean hai uske employees uske frn circle aur aas pados k log to kafi tareef karte hain infact woo apne Saturday and saunday old age homes and orphanage mein bitata hai"

Dushyant said "haan dikhane k liye acha hone ka natak to karna hoga..kesar bhi wahi kar raha hoga mein phone tap bhi karwaaye the par woo bhi useless hai par koi baat nahi kuch na kuch jaror mil jayega"

Gulaal said "yes sir and thanks"she wanted to thank him for the pizza and tea

Dushyant was confused he said "its ok"

Gulaal continued "sir aap apne collegues ka kitna dhyaan rakhte hai"

Dushyant said in confusion "haan dhyaan to rakhna chahiye"

Gulaal said "thek hai sir mein chaliti aur kuch proof milega to bataungi and she left"

Dushyant looked at her in confusion and said to his constable "sharmaji aapko pata hai yeh mujhe thanks kyu kar rahi thi"

Constable said "nahi sir mujhe nahi pata par agar apko nahi pata to apne unka thanks kyu accept kiya"

Dushyant looked at the constable and said "sharmaji aapko kuch bhi nahi pata ladki kuch bhi de chupchap accept kar lena chahiye ab thank u bol rahi thi to accpet kar liya"

Constable "haan sir woo to hai"

Dushyant smiled and said "wohi to"

In meantime gulaal reached kesar's office and watched him from her jeep she saw the 12 year kid with tea and choclate and before he could run gulaal hold him and said "kya boss roz mujhe chai aur choclate dete ho aur paise bhi nahi lete chakkar kya hai boss"

Kid said "chakkar wakkar kuch nahi woo neeraj haina woo bola meri grlfrn jeep mein mera intzaar karti hai usko chai aur chocate de diya karo bas paise bhi wahi deta hai...meine kuch nahi kiya aur yeh dekho yeh to mujh par hi line marne lagi"

and he ran

Gulaal was amused she said "arey yeh aajkal k bache bhi naa" and she laughed holding the tea she sipped it and then realized it was sent by kesar and then with a jerk she threw it away

Gulaal said "neeraj nahi kesar...damm hell confusing"

In the afternoon pizzaboy came with pizza

Gulaal looked at him and said "aaiye aaiye ap pizza lekar aaye hai"

Pizzaboy said "your pizza mam"

Gulaal said "yeh neeraj mehta k taraf se hai"

Pizzaboy said "yes mam roj wahi bhejwate hain"

Gulaal looked at him and said "nahi chahiye"

Pizzaboy said "mam order to excute ho gaya hai"

Gulaal said angrily "bola naa nahi chahiye"

Pizzaboy said "but mam"

Gulaal took a deep breath and said "aapka slogan haina treat customer as king and queen to apni queen k order lo aur yeh pizza jaake us neeraj mehta k muh par maaro"

Pizzaboy said in confusion "maam"

Gulaal yelled "nikal yanha se"

While she was talking to pizzaboy kesar came out and went in his car and drove away

Gulaal looked at him and started her jeep and followed him maintaining the reasonable distance

Soon kesar stopped outside a private farmhouse and went inside

Gulaal followed him but the guard stopped her and asked "kanha jaana hai"

Gulaal said "aander kya chal raha hai"

Guard said "private meeting hai aur aap andar nahi jaa sakti"

Gulaal looked at him in irritation though she could enter the premise very easily but it was an unofficial investigation so she decided to go other way

She climbed the boundary wall and jumped inside and very slowly she went near the building kesar was present at the first floor so she climbed up the waterpipe and then with her hands she climbed the balcony but her hands slipped in between and she hung from the balcony railing.she was hanging with her hand holding the railing

At the same time kesar came and rested his hand on balcony railing and looked at gulaal and said smilingly "kya baat hai jaan mere bina man nahi lagta jo ab yanha balcony se latak rahi ho"

Gulaal said angrily "kesar tum"

Kesar smiled and said "acha gussa baad mein pehle haath pakadlo aur upar aa jao "

and he put forward his hand gulaal helplessly put her hand into his...kesar gently lifted her up while gulaal was climbing the balcony railing her both feet were on railing and kesar supported her with his hand suddenly his employee came out and said "sir woo client ka phone aaya hai"

kesar looked at him and for a sec withdrew his hand while gulaal was on his support she trembled and fall on his chest with the reflex

kesar didn't expected it and he lost his balance and he fell down on the balcony floor while gulaal fell on him...kesar looked into her eyes and their eyes met it was fixed and stern on each other they looked at each other without winking there eyes...kesar eyes expressed his scared emotions for her in that eyelock that wasn't put up in the words which touched her somewhere deep in her heart

the employee intervened "sir mein baad mein aata hun"

gulaal attention broke with his employee intervention and she was about to stood up again but kesar smiled and mischiveously put his hand around her waist and she collided with him again

kesar said softly"maarne ka irada hai kya"

gulaal angrily said "abhi utho samjhe"

kesar said "memsahab pehle aap uthiye mere upar se phir mein uth paunga"

gulaal irriatedly freed herself and got up and kesar got up too

and then kunal came outside and said "neeraj yeh chunar" and then he looked at gulaal in utter confusion

he asked "yeh yanha"

kesar smiled and said "haan madam yanha mountain trecking k practice kar rahi thi"

kunal said "ok...neeraj client k saamne kaun si chunar ka presentation de red or blue"

kesar looked at the chunar and then said "do mujhe"

he took red chunar put over gulaal

gulaal frowned "yeh kya hai"

kesar said "woow not bad"

and then he put blue chunar on her and said "hmmm red kafi clich hai blue acha lagega"

and he said "blue rakho" and kunal left

gulaal looked at him and said "yeh sab kya ho raha hai"

kesar smiled and said "do dil mil rahe hai"

gulaal said angrily "sahi sahi batao kya chal raha hai"

kesar said "well client k saath meeting hai hume 10000 chunar ka order mila hai client 15 percent discount chahta hai aur hum 12 percent par negotiate kar rahe hain"

he took a deep breath and said how interesting naa"

gulaal said "farm house mein meeting"

kesar "kyu kis rule book mein likha hai meeting farm house mein nahi ho sakti chaho to ruk jao client bhi aa gaya hai"

and he went inside the meeting started with the client his employees were cracking the deal and gulaal stood at the corner and listened the conversation while kesar was staring her

everything was normal it was general business meeting with client

gulaal was satisfied so she decided to leave

as she was leaving kesar called her "gulaal kya hua"

gulaal said "well mein jaa rahi hun"

kesar smiled and said "to phir waapas se balcony area se kyu jaa rahi ho yanha darwaaza bhi hai"

gulaal looked at the balcony she was actually climbing the balcony again

she felt little embarrassed and said to herself "is paagal ka peecha karte karte mein khud paagal ho jaungi"

kesar said to kunal kunal gulaal ko achi tarah se bahar tak chod aao

and then kunal took her before leaving gulaal looked back at kesar...he was looking at her intensely there was passionate emotions for her that welled up from his heart and stood is his eye

gulaal looked at him and left

loved the ointment scene😳...kesar is soo smart she should have knew that by now...kesar gulaal's friend😆...dushy taking credit for the things which he didnot do...ohh atlast she came to knew that its kesar who is sending her the food...ohh loved the balcony scene very much...kesar toh gulaal ko model hi banaadiya...gulaal phie se going from balcony...sach mein paagal hogayee hai kesar ka peecha karthe karthe😆
