Scene 17

Nivi is sitting in her fathers room clutching her mother's photograph. Tears flowing through her eyes-

Her eyes and head were hurting from the constant crying that she had been doing. She wants them to stop but she is unable.

Why was she crying? She did not know but she knew that she had to cry and she continued crying.

Was it not her that wanted Sid to get married to Divya?

She wanted to get away from Sid's life and now all her sacrifices have taken color then why is she still crying? Is it because she still loves Sid?

But how can she love Sid, he belongs to her sister.

She has to become stronger and not succumb to weakness. She has learnt to move on and now she will continue doing that.

Or was it something else , that was bothering her.

She could hear all the commotion outside but her heart yearned for no one. She wanted to be left alone. Alone with her pain and tears. They were her only companions right now, her true companions , who always were there for her be that happiness or sadness.

She could hear divya calling for her. She wanted to go and hug her sister but there wasn't much energy left in her to muster up the courage , to open the door.

She just sat there, and strangely, sitting here seemed better. Just crying and crying. It felt as if her heart was bleeding but, this pain was unlike all her other pain.

Similar to that of a mother who is delivering her child and then slowly her pain decreases… for something better…joy…life…

How would she know …. She never had a mother..

But her pain was sweet today, her chest was not heavy any more.

….

Suddenly she hears the voice and her heart jumps up to her throat.

Dadima nivi kahan hai…

Woh andher he beta.

Nivi…….. darwaza kholo…

His voice always made her helpless. She had to always end up obeying him or dancing on his tunes. She feels frustrated

Nivi gets up and opens the door and gazes at his brown eyes.

Viren just stands there looking at her and has a sad smile on his face. His eyes are heavy and red.

His forehead has lines of despair and defeat. His eyes do not meet with that of nivi's and dart past them.

She for the first time senses helplessness in him. She does not want him feel that way. She wants to tell him that what ever happened was not in his control. But she is unable to speak. She turns around and walks towards her bed and sits down.

Viren walks in …

He feels heavy hearted. He wants to say a lot of things to nivi. Give her explanations, make excuses over his actions He wants her to sympathize with him and give him assurance that he wasn't wrong.

He slowly walks towards nivi and sits on the other side of the bed.

He rests his head on both his hands, thinking, praying, regretting….happy?

Nivi waits for Viren to talk. He was never able to keep quiet, but It has been long so she turns around and finds him sitting. She gets up, goes to him and says

Ek Galthi sadiyon ki nafrat jaga dethi hai…

Viren looks up at her with tears in his eyes as if pleading and wanting to say sorry … then nivi replies

Lekin pyar har nafrat ko kabhu ker letha hai…

Viren is shocked!?

Is nivi proclaiming her love for him? Did she finally accept him?

He stares up at her in admiration and love. He feels a sudden urge to hug her but stops himself. He is not sure about what nivi had just said. Did he hear her right.

Wow NivREN scene started please now don't stop here please please please

Scene 18

Nivi: Viren , ithni jaldi haar maan gaye?

Viren still gazing up at nivi and confused. He does not know what he has heard and what he has not heard. He thinks may be it's a dream may be nivi is sitting at the corner of the bed and he is imagining things.

He looks at the other corner of the bed , only to find it empty. His heart races, she is in front of him! And Talking to him! And talking about love'.

What did she say, his ears were hazed out after he heard the word love.

He still is not sure if it was nivi so he decides that he should just make sure.

He slowly lifts his hands and tries to touch nivis.

He could see her eyebrows contract, but that could be his imagination and this could not necessarily be nivi. But if this was nivi she would move back right away.

But what is this, why is nivi not moving back. He senses her hesitance but she is not moving back.

No way this is nivi, this has to be imagination, with exasperation he moves his hand faster towards nivi's hand expecting it to vanish. Then there it was, real sense of touch.

He gets alarmed and he stands up !

I am sorry nivi, s.s.orry.. woh maine socha tha ki thum , thum nahi ho aur woh wahan baiti ho lekin thum yahan khadi ho.. lekin thum thum nikli aur maine galati sey thumhay thum nahi samjha..

Nivi is looking at viren's face and gets confused at his words. What is he trying to say? Why is he stammering'

Viren is flushed red , blushing seriously. His face looking similar to that of a child caught while eating cookies without their parent's permission. Nivi could not take it any more. She bursts out laughing'.

She continues laughing and laughing '.

Viren looks at her laugh. His heart feels much much lighter. He wants to just laugh with her but he wants to rather just watch her face and her laugh. She looked like a full moon.

Nivi was laughing and looks at viren. She senses that viren was gazing at her intensely rather htan joining her. She feels very self conscious and turns red. She stops laughing ' and then plainly smiles at him.

I am glad you guys are loving it. I am loving writing it. Its giving me immense pleasure just to imagine them together. Sweeeeeet hearts... CTs Please please show such scenes ... Oh I will DIE if they show it!!!!

We are not liking it we are loving it but the problem is you are making so small scenes and making us wait for long it is really bad on your part.

Navi in serial it can't happen too soon as they are very slow as compared to suchi haan it can be his dream though as in serial Nivi can't come too close to Viren so soon jaan

Scene 19

Viren is still intently gazing at her. Niveditha's smile starts to falter which brings him back to his senses.

He then smiles back at her and she does the same.

Nivi: Viren, thumhay kuch bhi kehnay ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aaj jo kuch bhi meray liye kiya main use kabhi bhi bhul nahi paungi.

Meray parivar ka samman aur meri di ki kushiyon ko mahfooz ker diya hai thumnay aur main ye ehsaan kabhi nahi bhulungi.

Viren is extremely grateful after hearing these words come out of Nivi's mouth. He felt as if his blood had started to cirulate again. He could feel a warm tingling feeling through out his body. His heart is racing and his mind is starting to clear up.

Viren: Nivi'..

He looks at her, wanting to say a lot of things but all he could utter was a mere

Thanks.

Nivi: Main janthi hun ki jo kadam thumnay utayah who asaan nahi tha..

Viren looks at nivi, this is something he had not expected. He was expecting a broken up nivi and was worried sick thinking about "how to handle her"' and yet here she is , giving him assurance and encouraging him. Telling him not to worry about his actions and accepting his decisions.

Viren wanted to say that he is sorry he had to marry her like that. Then all of a sudden he realized they were married!

Marry her? Are they really married? She is his wife?

All the flashes of them going around the pyre 7 times came in his mind. Him filling her mang with sindoor occurred.

Nivedita seemed to be thinking along the same lines.

She never realized this but her eyes spoke volumes. Viren always felt that a force was pulling him towards her, her eyes'.

Nivedita subconsciously touched her mang and then saw viren's eyes flickr at what she was doing. She turned away from viren '.

Viren knew that she was uncomfortable and he did not bring up the topic.

Then he remembered what nivi had said, ! he wanted ask her to repeat but could not bring himself up it .. but he wanted to bring up the conversation. He did not think standing and staring at walls was how husband and wives behaved?

He then went up to nivi and said,

Nivi thum kiya keh rahi thi, woh main sahi tarah se sun nahi paya'

Nivi turned at him and without really looking into his eyes, said,

Nivi: HUmari ek galti unki nafrat tho bhadka sakthi hai lekin pyar sey hum un sabh ko jeeth sakthay hain na?

The light balloon that had filled up his heart just busted '

He felt silly.

What had he expected? Nivi to come running to him and proclaim her love?

Yes nivi was right, they had to now face the family. He has to ready to handle everything they would throw at him , and in this case it would be nivi. He knew that his family would never accept nivi but he would never know for sure unless they went and faced it themselves.

Viren: Nivi, teekh keh rahi ho thum . Humay samajdhari sey kaam lena parega. Abhi ghar per sabh hi naraaz hian. Pata nahi kya hoga '

Viren goes in deep thought, thinking about the consequences.

Nivi: aap fiker na karay. Jo bhi hai saath main hi jhelengay.

Viren feels confident. Then they hear the knock at the door. It was dadi.

Dadi comes inside and sees viren and nivi together.

She does not know what to think but she is so proud of them today. Her face is filled with pride that they put their feelings aside and did what they had to do to save the honor of both their families.

She then turned and looked at viren. How she had miscalculated him. Even when all that incident was going on Viren had managed to find her in the midst of hundred's, to seek her approval before going and accepting nivi. His gesture made her feel a sense of gratitude that she had not felt for anyone until now. She gazed into the face of viren lovingly and remembered how he had asked nivi's hand and how she had refused then.

They were meant to be together, so how can she or anyone come as hindrance. She had herself wanted the best for her granddaughter and she had finally gotten what she had been praying for.

Viren was looking at dadi, but he was unsure as he did not know if dadi had approved his marriage with nivi.

There again it was the word marriage'

Viren held the hands of dadima and said,

Dadima app mujhse naraaz tho nahi hain'

Dadi looks at viren lovingly and says,

Beta, ye bohot galat kiya maine ,

Kisi kay baray main rai bana lena , bina parkhay, bina janay, woh faisla aur rai humesha hi galat hotha hai.

Aaj thumnay mujhe galat saabit kerkay mujhe bohot kush ker diya beta.

Jo thumnay humaray parivar ke liye kiya, Divya ke liye kiya, Sidhdharth ke liye kiya aur..

She glances at nivi , who was looking at dadi with an eyes full of remorse'

Aur nivi ke liye kiya, woh bhi meri ijaazat sey, beta woh kerna, har kisi ke bas ki baat nahi hai.

Thumnay aaj sabit kerdiya ki , thum bhupat rai sood kay pothay ho!

Viren felt a sense of gratitude that he had never felt before. No one had ever praised him such , or even thought him worthy of such. He never felt that he was one of the family, the grandson of his ideal man, and now, dadi, who knew his granddad well , is considering him worthy of this praise?

He hugged dadi and tears started flowing through his eyes. He had never felt so loved and wanted ever in his life. He could feel his heart lighten up.

The warmth of dadi made him feel what he had never felt before. The love of a mother he never received. He did not want to let go of her.

Naintara felt that, and she gently stroke the hair of viren as if calming a small child and assuring them that they will not leave him alone and stranded.

Her eyes were also looking at nivi, and her heart felt content.

She had finally found the right partner for nivi'
