Pratigya doesn't make fun of Krishna's illiteracy

However alot of people in this forum seem to make fun of Pratigya being educated and then when she does something that they think that "educated" people shouldn't do they throw her education right back at her....... however Pratigya in the show, since the marriage hasn't made fun or thrown it back at him that he's illiterate. I can't recall even one scene where Pratigya has said something about him being an illiterate fool or stupid or dumb or anyhthing else that you could say to someone who is illiterate.

So what I don't understand is why Krishna, his family and alot of people on this forum seem to make fun of the Saxena family. Of them being educated and when they do something that they think is stupid they say that as a literate person they should know better. I know Krishna has all the time said things to Pratigya in a mean way about her being educated.

AND THIS IS SIMPLY NOT RIgHT!!!!!! I'm not sure why everyone holds Pratigya at a higher standard when she doesn't seem to hold herself to a higher standard when it comes to her education vs. Krishna's.

When they were checking into the hotel, Krishna would have embarressed ME if I was his wife, but no Pratigya simply said that we have to go over here to check in, and she also signed the document for him......"by being POLITE AND RESPECTFUL"......

Even now when they were talking ot the lawyer, all she said is that I apologize on behalf of my husband. She's not embaressed that her husband is an illiterate goon who can't for the life of him do anything for himself.....no she just said please forgive him and now lets move on and talk about whats really important my father..........Even when Krishna interuppted them and started syaing all of those things about his father.....he was being disrespectful to the lawyer, but again Pratigya doesn't say anything mean to Krishna infront of the lawyer, even though I again would be really ashamed if that were my husband.

So I would like to ask EVERYONE, wehther you hate Pratigya or whether you like her......to closely reflect on why you seem to throw her education in her face and always make her live to a higher standard in her actions and words and NOT HOLD KRISHNA TO THE SAME STANDARD....because when it comes to being respectful and being a good person I have to say that education has nothing to do with that........

yes she never made fun of him.........wen she realised that angad kidnapped her then she cud hv thought that how can i still live wid an illeterate guy and his family................

Hi SonyaBlade,

You make an excellent point. I am a KriYa fan and love the romance to opposites falling in love against all odds (even though I know that statistically speaking this is not a good combination, in real life such relationships do not happen and do not last). However, I find it amazing that some people on this forum have such a hard time acknowledging that in reality Krishna is a negative character, he is HOT, great looking and gorgeous but he started this out as being a stalker, he still is a spoiled rich kid who doesn't understand that you don't get everything you want in life. That being said his character is changing and he is learning and growing.

I too would like to represent an alternative view and hope everyone is respectful of all our differences.

I would like to thank you for emphasizing such an important factor in kriya's relationship, you are absolutely correct prats has never even suggested that he was illiterate due to any of his actions no matter how mad she may have been at him.

Something I noticed in the recent dispute between the lawyer and Krishna was that prats did not look ashamed of Krishna even when he was saying things which could have been embarrassing to any wife. An important factor was that prats may not have raised her voice against the lawyer when he said something about SS or krishna but she also did not stop Krishna from answering aman, and when Krishna went to the side in order to wait for her she also did not ask for forgiveness on his behalf. I think prats realized that Krishna may have been rude but he was standing up for his father, and the lawyer was equally rude in his comments about SS or Krishna.

It is easy to say she did not stand up for Krishna because she felt he was wrong, but it is just as important to see that she could have very easily but did not embarrass him in front of the lawyer and she did not belittle him either by saying sorry for Krishna;s interesting speech, this proved that she does respect him as her husband despite him being illiterate and unbearable at times.

Most of the post in this form baffle me. I can't understand why they have to be so rude to Pratigya and her family.Yet if we say anything about Krishna we get braned as bashing him. But it seems people have a free ride to say anything about Pratigya and her family. As lovtv said it is a good love story but in real life not likely to happen in real life. I guess we are not ready for a story with a strong women who stands-up for herself.

I recently started watching Pratigya (from May) and really like it. When I saw this post I thought I would join in with my view. I like both characters, to me it isn't about education or about a social message being given....just a fictional show that I like.

I'm for the Kriya romance, only because I like love in impossible situation....shows how strong and tenacious human beings could be.......Although Pratigya never talked about his education, her speech to him (and others) is always a lecture and often feels like a teacher-student talk.....it's her way of showing her superior education (this is not bashing prats!).....I can't answer for all the 'educated pratigay bashing' but one thing became clear to me when I started watching the show was that she is dismissive of him and his point of view, thinking she knows best - all because of her education....No matter what he is her husband, instead of running around she could have taken the time to teach him to read and write (I know I would)..... He on the other hand has a lot of 'life skills and experience' learnt the hard way and not from books and often is very astute and see's more clearly than pratigya........so far she hasn't seen his point of view very much or given him any respect at all. A strong woman could do both without losing face - but that's the writers fault😊. If any fun is made of her and her families education it's because they fail to see the obvious and rely on academia to solve everyday life problems.....like the gunda's harassing them, should have gone straight to the police rather than thinking to ignore them.

As for her family, I understand them. They are gentle people not used to violence or given to high passion as the Thakurs....but they often act so innocent, even I get irritated......look at Arushi collapsing in tears during the mehendi sangeet......all she needed to do was move away from shakti!......

As for Krishna being a negative character, as someone mentioned, I don't think he is. We have never seen him murdering anyone or doing something very drastic.....yes he went a bit pyscho over prats...but who's to say you won't do the same when you fall in love and realise it may be impossible?....from what we've seen of his background, well he knew no better really but look back at everything and you will see how protective he was of her....He is more of a hero with shades of grey - they are the best ones. The show will show him slowly changing, anyway.

btw just in case people think I'm against educated women - I'm a women, I have a law degree and have worked in the legal field for over 13 years.

I'm not sure who you are referring to here if you are referring to Krishna then they did go to the police unfortunately even the police were not willing to go against SS he pretty much owns them along with the politicians, so they were of no use.

Now if you are talking about angad the professor did go to the police but they were blackmailed by angad using prats marital life, unfortunately they were well aware of Krishna's obsessiveness of prats which gave them no hope of expecting a positive reaction from his side, so they were forced to tolerate him.

And as for prats being dismissive of Krishna's thoughts that was more when she hated him due to misunderstandings recently she has started to listen to him without getting angry even when he says things which are truly unacceptable to her such as him not allowing her to hire aman because he had the nerve to fight with him, because she is more willing to understand his thinking now. personally she has tried to always respect him in front of others even when she despised him, and Krishna who has always loved her has never thought twice before embarrassing her in front of a crowd.

Brilliant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️post!. particularly agree 100% with you on the underlined parts above. I started watching the show in March and caught up on the earlier episodes. Many refer to Krishna as gunda yet all we have seen him do is pursue her bec' she had inadvertently responded to his overtures without realizing she was sending the wrong signals. Destiny in play. Prats always refers to Krishna as TUM while she uses AAP for everyone else including Komal and Adarsh. Why is that? POPs please explain her reasons for doing that.

Prof. is the first to throw the "unpud gawar" label against the Takurs. He uses education to show his superiority much the way the Takurs use their wealth. He is still vascillating between Krishna being dil ka achcha hai on the one side and teaching his daughter to keep secrets from her husband and thereby continuing down the path of distrust. Prats is easily influenced by her father. The Saxenas always seem helpless, fearful and cry a river 😭at the drop of a hat. They have never taken the time or made the effort to get to know their damadh.😕 They are literate but their thinking skills are lacking in making pragmatic decisions in life. They judge the Takurs harshly for their lack of education and somehow see themselves superior bec' of it.😕

come on both krishna n pratigya bashing going on in this foum ....some are die hard pratgya fan(to them pratigya is perfect).....some are die hard krishna fans n will defend him no matter what.... n

both characters have faults

i can't understand some of the serous krishna bashing going on every day....some off the sweet words the guy utters to pratigya is found offensive...n discussed

or r u saying pratigya n her family are perfect n shouldnt be bashed

well i would bash paratigyas family each n everyday day because they r the most stupid,annoying n irritating bunch of people on the show....
