Punctuality and Indians: a concern?

I have seen many Indians(including my family) always arrive late for parties, special occasions etc.. We have many diplomatic parties in our houses and the Americans and other forigners are pretty punctual, but the the Indians are usually an hour or two late. That's why my parents call people a bit earlier than usual😆 So, what do you think, should we be concerned about this or all izz well?😉
